31/12/2025: I was with my son yesterday around 7pm the food looks like leftovers I told the waiter she wanted to go to the kitchen but didn't help me at all almost 10pm we have a stomach ache and it ruins the whole day

15/09/2025: Visited with extended family as part of our Morfar’s memorial weekend and it was a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday and only 3 other tables were occupied. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks orders and we then had to wait 50 minutes to get them. They didn’t have any bottles of the house red OR house white (despite it being a very limited wine list of about 5 wines) and in the end we had to settle for alternative wine options/carafes. Our food took about an hour to arrive and when it did our experiences were mixed: the pizzas were generally good but the pasta dishes less so. My cousin’s carbonara had just ONE piece of bacon in it and no pepper. When this was raised with the owner he stated that salt and pepper weren’t listed on the menu as ingredients included in the dish and so we shouldn’t have expected it. There was a lot of confusion when the food arrived as staff just shouted out the dish number from the menu (which we hadn’t been told to remember) and they couldn’t tell us what each dish was. We ended up asking for a menu so we could work out which dish belonged to who. One pizza was completely wrong and when the correct one came out, it had bacon on it which wasn’t in the listed ingredients! When the manager was asked why the wrong pizza had been delivered to the table he stated that he couldn’t read the handwriting of the waiting staff so he’d had to guess! At the end of the night, we complained to the manager about our awful experience and he just made excuse after excuse refusing to apologise or accept any fault. At the end of the discussion he agreed to a 50% discount on the misdelivered pizza but stated that he ‘wasn’t making Italian food in Rome - he was making Italian food in Silkeborg’…… The restaurant is called Roma but it seems customers shouldn’t go expecting Italian cuisine of any note. Stay away unless you want a confusing and chaotic evening out.

20/10/2025: I'm not good at English, so when I asked the female clerk to repeat what I was saying several times, she just looked annoyed. She was also rude when handing over the item, which made me feel uncomfortable.

13/03/2026: I ordered a pizza and it was served. While I was eating, I later noticed that the person in the kitchen was smoking. So I stopped eating. Before I left, an order came on the phone and he started making the pizza without washing his hands.

08/03/2026: Never received my order. The guy on the phone was rude as well.

26/03/2026: I found a long hair in my bagel, and when I called them and explained the situation, they denied it, saying it was probably some hair from me when I unwrapped it. Terrible service🤮🤮🤮🤮 will never come back!

26/10/2025: Coffee was almost ok, the staff was very rude and not helpful at all, my kid was locked in the bathroom and they didn’t help at all, I asked the code and they didn’t gave it to me , but they gave to someone else that spoke their language. I know the staff is young bit a little compassion will be great, I will never go there again.

22/09/2025: The worst burger I've ever had a bite of in my life. Super bad steak and drowned in dressing. The fries were half done. The service was also exceptionally bad.

05/11/2025: The worst tuna sandwich ever. A tall, ungreased, dry, boring bun, impossible to bite into, way too much tuna salad flowing out everywhere, one caper and then a lot of spinach. Simply tasted of nothing. Was impossible to handle as a ‘to go’. You can do much better. Use one of your delicious buns, spread it with mayo, cheese or pesto and be picky about the tuna in the salad. Taste it. Garnish with a few more capers, a little red onion and maybe a slice of tomato. The spinach was ok as the only thing.

16/08/2025: Specifically for my last visit I got really good service but the tea leaves were burnt (so they were bitter) and the cinnamon rolls were "not delivered" and that was a let down. Really good cardamom rolls.

08/09/2025: We have always had the habit of ending a good day at Bakken with a visit to Café Elverdybet, but this time it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. Already when we ordered, they were missing half of the items on the menu, so one of the children had to choose both new food and drink. When we finally ordered, the blonde girl at the cash register made a mistake (we did get our money back), but you were left with the clear feeling that she didn't really want to be there. When the food came out, we were told that it was a steak sandwich, even though it looked like a burger, which the others had had. She insisted that she was right – until she later came out with the real steak sandwich. The burger we got was dry and bland, and for the price of 108 kr. I don't think it's fair that you have to assemble it yourself with tomato, onion and pickles. When we finally said thank you when she picked up our plates, she just looked at us with a strange look, without answering. All in all, a really annoying experience that detracted greatly from an otherwise pleasant tradition.

14/01/2026: 109 kr for a vegetarian pizza is perhaps the most expensive in town. Unfortunately, it is also a burnt pizza.

07/10/2025: Far too little food for the price and it didn't taste any better than what else you can get in Aalborg

10/12/2025: Can only speak about the bread which I find disappointing, tastes the same as Lidl but costs twice as much. Otherwise Ok service

25/11/2025: Have been there a couple of mornings for coffee. The place has potential, but the place and the decor/maintenance seem a bit "tired", and you get the impression that there is a lack of focus and energy. Nice young employees, who are smiling and polite, but who seem left a bit alone and without being fully equipped to make coffee of a quality that corresponds to the price.
