De bedste restauranter

25/07/2025: I'm a tourist in this part of the country and wanted pizza. I was wondering if I should order online or just drive by. I wasn't busy so I just drove by. There were no parking spaces to be found outside... Well, they're busy so they must be popular I thought. Found a space and went in. Was greeted by a lot of hustle and bustle and a queue almost from the moment I walked in. Wow I thought When I was going to order I was told they were busy... Okay, how busy... Up to 30 minutes of waiting. Fair enough I thought. Good food is worth waiting for. It was hot in there and I waited... And waited... Then I got into a conversation with some locals who told me that the green concert had been cancelled due to cloudbursts. People were queuing up for McDonald's etc. and yes now here. There were 18,000 people who had been evacuated so they were looking for food in the area. Ahh that explains the busyness. While I was waiting I was offered a soda, sweetly by the stressed sweating staff. I waited almost 50 minutes for my food, a few small mistakes in the order but all good. The food tasted fine. Understand the stress and the hustle and bustle and felt sorry for the staff. The prices are also quite fair. Such a good experience despite the hustle and bustle.

18/06/2025: I spontaneously ate here with my husband today. The outside says "Gluten-free available," which is perfect for me. Both my husband's pizza and my GF pizza were delicious. I haven't seen such a selection of toppings anywhere else; it's definitely worth a visit.

01/07/2025: I can't remember the last time I felt so welcome at a wedding as I did at Vesterhave Vingaard. It was clear that the staff are passionate about the place and that every guest visit means something to them. It all came together as a whole and the many extra little details made the evening truly unique – and it was fun to hear stories about the winery along the way.

01/07/2025: We had a really lovely experience as guests at a wedding at the vineyard! The premises and outdoor areas were super beautiful and could easily accommodate the approx. 100 guests who were present. The wine tasting that we had with the meal was full of delicious wines from their own production and the staff was very welcoming and talked about it with enthusiasm! All in all, a really lovely evening and experience that deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

05/07/2025: Just amazing - I had my fair share of great dining experiences but hear me out on „Rarsted“: if you are looking for great food, where you can feel it was made with love and passion you don’t want to miss this spot. The starters where tasteful and intriguing - I was almost a bit sad after finishing as usually the main dishes are heavy and rather one-dimensional. But not here - the vegetarian main course was a journey in itself. Every bite was different depending on which parts of the plate you would combine. It was playful, light and delicious - it was just pure pleasure. The super friendly, welcoming service made us feel right at home. What more could you hope for? 03/08/2025: We had been looking forward to eating at their restaurant, but apparently there was no outdoor seating, despite I don't know how many tables, and the sun was shining from a cloudless sky. So we opted out of the place as it was too crowded indoors and it was super hot.

06/06/2025: Dejlig og meget serviceminded betjening. Vel nok den bedste restaurant i Nordsjæland hvis man ønsker sig en god bøf. Virkelig lækre sideorders til kødet, mange muligheder for tilbehør.

03/08/2025: Honestly this is not my scene and was more of an acquiescence to a friend, but it was very delicious. The servers were all super nice and they had great ipa diversity. Nice to try new things

19/07/2025: We had booked a table and were looking forward to a nice evening with sushi. Unfortunately, it was a really bad experience from start to finish. We had a deal voucher, which we of course expected to be able to use, that was the whole point of the visit. But when we arrived, the staff refused to accept it because we had not stated this when booking the table. This felt like a downright scam. Instead of meeting us with understanding or flexibility, we were met by a grumpy and unfriendly waiter, which made the experience even more unpleasant. In addition, the waiting time was long, and the service in general was beyond criticism. No smiles, no friendliness, just a bad atmosphere throughout. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back and cannot recommend the place to others, especially not if you are considering using a deal.

27/04/2025: The best rye bread in town. Such. And they have discount cards so every 8th is free. And all their other bread and cake are in a class of their own

20/07/2025: Cafes are really cool, especially if they're trendy or fashionable. And this one is, with its outdoor seating area being quite appealing on sunny days. And it's also well-stocked, offering customers ice cream, bagels, cookies, and a variety of coffees. I got the bundle, which cost €20: cappuccino, bagel with jam and cheese, and a juice. The only thing I liked was the juice. The cheese had a French feel to it; it stank.

14/07/2025: Super delicious open sandwiches. I have never had such a delicious rib roast, with perfectly crispy skin.

11/07/2025: There were 5 of us for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We had lovely freshly spread sandwiches, a super sweet and service minded and efficient service. A thoroughly good experience. The place is definitely recommended!! PS! All the food was delicious but the chicken salad is especially recommended! 😀

02/06/2025: What a fantastic hidden gem! 💎 This restaurant/cafe/shop is simply on of the best guarded secrets in Nordsjælland and Lyngby! It is located a bit outside of the city center, but it is well worth the journey. The place is a great mix between a cafe, restaurant and shop, which works really well. The food is absolutely fantastic and it’s very fair priced. They have a good mix between classic Danish smørrebrød and a nice a-la-carte selection, including a few child-friendly options. 👍 They also have a brunch which I have yet to try. The waiters are all very friendly and provides great service. We are definitely going back again soon - and it gets my biggest recommendation.
