03/08/2025: The food is terrible, the fish taste is nonexistent. The decor is abysmal for a fish restaurant. You sit in a somewhat converted basement, the edges of the plates are damaged, the floor is dirty. Far too expensive for what you get. I have no idea why it's rated so highly. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

03/08/2025: We were really looking forward to some good seafood, but unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a big disappointment. The restaurant is located in a basement, and the ambience is practically nonexistent. The floor was greasy and dirty, and we even saw mold in the corners. It felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. The bowl I ordered was hard and completely tasteless – not fresh, not seasoned, just bland. And to make things worse, the portion was very small, yet shockingly expensive. There was absolutely no value for money here. If someone enjoys eating in a moldy basement and feels comfortable in that environment, then maybe this tiny fast food spot is for them. But personally, I don’t understand how this place gets so many positive reviews. Bottom line: Dirty, flavorless, overpriced — a very disappointing experience overall 👎👎👎

12/07/2025: Booked a table 2 days before arrival and they didn't have the table ready for that number. So we had to sit like herring in a barrel..... That's really poor service and no way to do business. So I definitely won't be back.

12/07/2025: Ordered a fried plaice, Received a mediocre fish (better can be bought in the delicatessen in Bruges), 5 small potatoes, and to top off the Vesterhavs experience, a small cup of white sauce with a few signs of parsley. Disappointing for a price of 200-300kr.

23/07/2025: Outstanding sandwiches, shakes and smoothies, a charming piano you can play on, and welcoming, polite staff. We will be back :)

07/06/2025: Good selection of beers, convenient QR code menu, and an interesting interior. However, there’s only one restroom for a rather large beer-focused venue. The food is okay, but not at all what’s described on the menu. What’s served as "pizza" can barely be called a flatbread with toppings. The dough is overcooked — not just baked, but fried to the point of being dry, thin, and burnt, completely out of place for the dish. The arancini are tasty but come swimming in a sauce that overwhelms the delicate truffle flavor. I recommend taking them out and eating them separately — that way, you’ll actually taste the truffle and enjoy the balanced texture.

23/07/2025: Visited the place in the middle of July 2025 and unfortunately felt the experience horrible. The place was absolutely full of bees and all bakery doors were held totally open wide. The bees were just flying all over the place and crawling among the foods behind the counter. As a bee phobic I felt this absolutely disgusting. Why the doors could not just be kept closed? The air was so hot outside that open doors were not chilling the air and bees were easily able to fly in. However the cardemom croissant which I ate was delicious. Still will not visit this place again.
