03/10/2026: One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The cuisine is exceptional; the eight-course meal showcases meticulous preparation in every dish (special mention for the langoustines!). The service is simple and pleasant.

04/10/2026: My family and I have been coming to Big Due for over 20 years. I would go so far as to describe ourselves as regulars - we are friends with almost all the waiters from "back then", and visit the place several times during the year. The other day we were celebrating a special event, and therefore it was a given that Big Due would be the setting for the celebration. We therefore booked a table in advance. The first signs of trouble appeared when the wait staff showed incredibly little interest in welcoming us upon our arrival. In fact, we had to wait for almost 10 minutes at the door before anyone took the time to greet us. When it finally happened, the message was that they could not serve us because it was full and they were busy - despite our reservation! The restaurant showed incredibly little courtesy, despite the fact that we were willing to wait for a table to become available. The message was that "then the next guests will come"... Next guests? It's us - we've reserved a table and you've sent us a confirmation! The closest we came to an apology was the word "unfortunately". That's simply not the way to treat your regular customers. Despite 20 years of good memories, it'll probably be a while before we set foot in Big Due again. What a shame.

22/10/2026: Restaurant Heering is in a great location right by the canal, with a lovely atmosphere despite being in a busy tourist area. We tried the open sandwiches with herring and salmon, as well as a hamburger, and everything was well prepared and delicious. The staff were neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly, just neutral. Prices are typical for the area, but the final bill seemed higher than what we calculated based on the menu prices. We couldn’t quite figure out the difference, so there may have been an additional service fee or charge that wasn’t clearly explained. Overall, good food, a nice atmosphere and a great central location.

12/10/2026: Heated seats, right by the water, super friendly waiters, and very tasty and fresh food. The salmon was delicious.

08/10/2026: Had hoped for a good deep pan pizza, ordered with cocktail sausages as an extra topping. Then got a pizza with various chopped grilled sausages/grilled medister on it, and so many that the other fillings haven't had enough cooking. Generally poorly executed pizza. Also tried a pork roast sandwich earlier in the week, was okay, a little bland, tough and a little dry. Disappointing experience. Grilled medister on a pizza... Wtf

30/09/2026: The meeting point is a nice restaurant.. Which is conveniently located close to the new light rail between Lundtofte and Ishøj Station.. 👍😉

19/09/2026: Amazing family meal! We visited Istanbul Fried Chicken (IFC) near Nørrebro/Nørrebro station, right in front of Istanbul Bazaar, and we were so impressed! We ordered a Roasted chicken with rice, broasted fried chicken, with rife and crispy strips with fries. Every single item was flavorful, hot, and delicious. My kids absolutely loved the crispy chicken and fries, and They Also give me an extra bread for my kid, we cleared every last bite! Generous portions, fantastic flavors, and a great spot for a family lunch or dinner. We will definitely be coming back!

19/09/2026: 2 boys are very happy here, the chicken is warm, crispy and strong 🦾, salad is nice, pickle serve dry exactly like we preferred, and the garlic sauce add more flavorful taste, dont forget to mix with chili 🌶️ the service are very warmth, we enjoy every moment here and definitely we will be back to try other menu.

16/08/2026: The food is great, but better chairs and acoustics would be nice. That said, I'll still be back soon.

31/07/2026: Tonkatsu ramen okay but no need for the giant pile of shredded scallion on top, or the pickled silver skin onions which is a new one on me. The Karaage was the worst I have ever had, burnt and soggy - not sure how they pulled that off. The staff are very nice and the beer is reasonably priced.

26/07/2026: I have eaten at quite a few places, but Roma Pizza stands out. They have the best pizzas in Østerbro. A clear recommendation from here.

24/10/2026: If you are a vegetarian, there is not much to choose from here. One dish to choose from, and it cannot be part of the place's three-course menu. I had a vegetarian steak with green side dishes. A nice plate. But without taste and coherence. A peculiar composition. It is unclear what the steak consisted of, but there were slightly different pieces of vegetables sticking out of an indeterminate gray mass. When I left and was kindly asked about it by the staff, I was explained that this dish has been on the menu for 20 years, and everyone before me has been enthusiastic. I was further informed that it is probably my taste buds that are crazy about it. The same dish for 20 years?? That could perhaps be modernized a little. My husband had a dish with veal. It was better. Vegetarian food is not easy to make if it is to be nutritionally good and tasty. Maybe it is better not to, and to confess to traditional food.

21/10/2026: Got the main course, which was Wienerschnitzel, with a local beer, good service, however they asked for a tip, not so Danish

26/10/2026: "Nordic traditions, but with room for reinterpretation and fresh ideas." That's how founders Simon Lund Clemmensen and Martin Sandgreen describe Ard, and it sums the bakery up well. Ard is one of my favourite bakery chains in Copenhagen. Each one sits somewhere a little off the beaten track on the outskirts of the city, and every location feels unique. The focus is on good craft and high quality ingredients, and you can tell. Always worth the trip out.

14/10/2026: The fattest cookie I've ever eaten, almost like a stick of butter, tasty butter:) But don't exaggerate.
