25/07/2025: Unfortunately, a very unfortunate experience, and I cannot recommend the hotel at this time. Breakfast: 2 stars. I booked two nights for my parents at Scandic in Sydhavnen. I helped with the check-in, and here we are quickly greeted with an offer to upgrade their room. We asked if the room would still have a shower? (This is important for my parents, due to their age). To this, the answer was “Yes, I think the room does”. The room did not have this… and we also did not get the opportunity to see the room first, due to busyness. In addition, the glass wall in the bathtub had been removed, so there was water everywhere in the bathroom, by the shower and the bathtub. The sofa had been made into a bed, which we also had to change back to a sofa ourselves. I don't know where to start with the breakfast. Both days the breakfast: - ran out of orange juice. - one coffee machine did not work. - the eggs that were supposed to be hard-boiled were raw. - the morning buns were almost impossible to chew. The overall experience was that the hustle and bustle had taken its toll across the board, and the service you associate with Scandic was most reminiscent of an early Saturday afternoon in Ikea.

28/05/2025: Really bad service. Poor service, the plates from the starter were on the table when the main course came and they almost put it on top. We were asked to keep the cutlery from the starter, but asked for something new. Got 5 minutes notice that they were closing while we were still eating. They turned off the music and changed into regular clothes. Not accommodating to requests regarding drinks etc.

18/12/2024: Delicious sandwiches (original flavor palette and super fresh), for a very reasonable price (certainly better than anything in the neighborhood). Very friendly staff and very cozy atmosphere. I recommend this!!

14/07/2025: Looks good but doesn't accept cards. I came to the Castle from Sweden so I had to choose another place

17/05/2025: very tasty) the pizza is super. We came on an excursion and this is the first place, closer to the castle, where we decided to eat. We took 4 different pizzas and they turned out to be mega delicious)) on the second day we came to try shawarma. I definitely recommend it. ❤️

16/06/2025: Super good service and delicious food. There were 8 of us for my son's birthday and we ordered all you can eat. It was an iPad to order, and you can have sushi sticks and dim sum. Too easy!

03/07/2025: Probably the worst place I've visited in Copenhagen. The food was clearly microwaved and tasted like cardboard. There was also hair in one of the dishes, she didn't even apologize for it and brought the same dish back pretending she replaced it. The rice was also old and smelled like plastic 🫠🫠🫠

03/07/2025: I have never had such a good visit to a Chinese restaurant before until I came across Guangzhou Cuisine. Not only was their customer service great, their food was also fantastic. Their Cantonese pancakes were good and crispy but not least their duck tasted a bit funny in a good way that I had never experienced before. The dumpling had plenty of filling in it, which goes well with the outer part. You can get some funny food but still really good. Guangzhou cuisine is generally a unique and delicious place to be if you need Chinese food!!

09/05/2025: Great find, we had never been there before but will definitely be back. Delicious tasty food and a fantastic lavish buffet. Super nice waiters, we came early and had our section of this great restaurant to ourselves. See you soon

28/04/2025: You always can expect a variety of delicious asian cuisine food during your visit, in a evening hours they offering full variety of Japan sushi’s, Chinese and Thai food with lots of deserts. Really good place to visit if you are hungry and want to eat in buffet style

10/05/2025: I looked by accident. It was too late to eat, but I tried some good beers, which the ladies behind the bar helped me choose. It's quite nice there.

29/04/2025: Its great - but the bar stops serving at 2330, even though they are ooen until midnight. Disappointing and an easy fix.

03/06/2025: Ordered some stir fry and chicken cashew from this place. Unfortunately it ended up in the trash for being extremely salty. It tasted as if it has been cooked in sea water. I used wolt for the purchase and on telling them about this experience got a response from the customer service of this restaurant that “I could bring the food back so that it can be cooked again and otherwise get money back based on their assessment” There goes my money also down the trash with their food for ordering from this place. Hopefully others have a better experience ordering from this place.

19/06/2025: We had bought a deal and did not have the highest expectations, BUT how wrong were we! The place is really nice, the food was marvellous (the bread to die for) and the staff was kind and attentive. We had the tasting menu and it surely was tasty - all 4 courses!
