06/08/2026: A good place to get some good old-fashioned barbecue after a lovely motorbike trip to Skuldelev Havn, Skuldelev Ås and Selsø Castle. Hornsherred is underrated (says someone who has lived in Hornsherred most of his youth).

11/05/2026: Normally decent pizzas, but today I tried the Hawaian for the first time, expecting a pizza with ham and pineapple. What I got was half a kilo of ham with a little bit of pizza base and cheese underneath. The pineapple was only tossed on in the middle, not evenly scattered over the entire pizza. The excessive amount of ham made it inedible for me. Very disappointing.

22/10/2026: Good to have something to eat after a hospital visit

08/10/2026: I swear I go to that drive thru to kill some time and it honestly takes 4 minutes from when I order to when I get my food. Completely crazy I try to complain to the guy at the window but he just smiles at me. Honestly that's sick man. Will be back.

04/10/2026: A pretty good experience overall. The interior was lovely, and the service was good. The food was solid, nothing spectacular, but definitely well above average for a typical hotel restaurant.

18/08/2026: I was accidentally walking in that area with no previous plan, and I found this kebab place that look very cool so I felt very inspired and decided to enter, I immediately loved the energy of the vendors as well as their availability and great service, needless to say that the kebab was amazing and that I really enjoyed the taste and spiciness I definitely recommend that you go and have their kebab or it’s your loss

04/07/2026: Systematized durum (kebab) review. 21 points in total. Durum with lamb cost 80 kr + 5 kr hummus. The bread (0-3 points): 2 points (standard bread, would have given more points if it was homemade or had a few burn marks). The salad (cucumber, tomato, lettuce and onion), 0-2 points: 2 points (nice amount, nicely chopped and good ratio compared to the meat), see the pictures. Some free extras (e.g. red cabbage, hummus, taboulah), 0-1 points: 1 point (red cabbage was included) The meat (0-5 points): 4.5 points (the meat is very nicely seasoned, has a really nice consistency and you should be very proud that the lamb doesn't taste "woolly". On the other hand, I think it's a shame that you re-fry the meat with oil, because then it loses flavor, and it also tastes a little too burnt. If it came straight from the roll, it would have gotten 5 points). The chili (0-2 points): 1.5 points (good strength but lacks more flavor. There was a little too much oil in my durum - it dripped out of it). The dressing (0-2 points): 2 points (good standard creme fraiche) The quantity / how full you were (0-2 points): 2 points (large and good amount of meat, see the pictures). Service (0-1 point): 1 point (friendly and fast) Price (0-3 points, where 3 points are 30-40 kr., 2.5 points are 40-50 kr., 2 points are 50-60 kr., 1.5 points are 60-70 kr., 1 point is over 70 kr.): 1 point 17.5 / 21 points = 4.1 stars —> rounds down to 4 stars out of 5.

27/01/2026: Jernstangen at Hillerød Station is a charming and classic pub with an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome from the first moment. The place offers a wide range of entertainment options, including pool table, billiards, jukebox, live music and raffle, which contribute to a lively and cozy experience. The local atmosphere combined with the convenient location right across from Hillerød Station makes Jernstangen an obvious choice for both an informal evening with friends and a cozy afternoon. All in all, a well-functioning pub with soul and character, which can be highly recommended.

20/09/2026: Small selection of beers with no particular focus. Actually cozy, but still without atmosphere or sense of quality that corresponds to the price.

28/07/2026: It was nice. Very chill. No service on the roof but very good service at the bar on ground floor. We didn't have food so I can't comment on that

02/10/2026: Dear Joe & The Juice, I was in your store last week and just thought you should know about the amazing service I had. When I entered the store, I was greeted by the sweetest young man named Hannibal. It was my first time trying Joe & The Juice, so I wasn't sure what to choose and what was good. Luckily, Hannibal was extremely patient and told me about all your juices as if he lived off them. He didn't seem rushed, and even when a small queue formed, he just asked one of his sweet colleagues to take over the checkout so Hannibal could stand to the side and help me. Imagine a young man like him spending a good 10 minutes telling me about all your products and what was good and what he would choose. I also had a little coughing fit, but Hannibal was quick to find me a glass of water, which just made the whole experience even more amazing. When I was about to order, the young guy said he would come down with my juice when it was ready, and of course he did, although you could tell they were a bit busy. When I was about to leave, all 3 young people said have a good weekend with a smile. Hope you find more like them! DBH. Peter

31/08/2026: I bought two buns and some other cakes. When I got home and cut them I was really disappointed to find that they were completely gooey inside and didn't seem to be baked through at all, it was almost still dough. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of one of the employees. She said: That's just the way these cakes are. You have to know what kind you want before you buy them. The quality of your products seems to have gotten worse and worse, and blaming customers for not having decided what to buy is simply ridiculous! After this experience I definitely don't think I will come back.

27/09/2026: Do you feel like paying EUR10 for a mug of tap water? We went as a couple for a quick lunch bite. Order two of their classical sandwiches. Mine was duck. Tasted good, but not a lot of duck. The food served is decent and the service is likewise. Food was over-priced. However, when paying we were charged close to EUR 10 for a mug of tap water. We asked for the water, but was given no mention of the cost. Secondly, we were asked about drinks, before we even checked the menu. When I questioned the waiter on this he claimed it was stated on the menu, he said he had to fill the mug, bring it over, and if the mug broke would have to buy a new one. (BS if you ask me) For me it was the first time I have come across such a practice. Will never return to this place. You have been warned, choose for yourself.

25/08/2026: Ok pork. Quite affordable prices. Nice staff (who also had a beer with the guests) and quick service.

19/08/2026: The best place for family or friends, great food, insanely good service and staff, 110% recommended.
