11/10/2026: Loved the sushi … not so much waiting time… bery fresh and yummy

03/10/2026: We ordered sushi from this restaurant through Wolt. The website had a picture of 32 pieces of sushi, but we only got 8 pieces. The description didn't say how many pieces there were. The picture clearly said 32 pieces. When we started complaining to Wolt's customer service, they started contacting the restaurant, and the restaurant quickly changed both the picture and the description. When we said it wasn't like that when we ordered, they said it had been like that for a long time. We then called the restaurant, but they answered us very rudely. They said the information had been like that all along, and the conversation was handled very disrespectfully. In the end, the conversation was disconnected, and our problem was still not resolved properly.

16/06/2026: Super good taste in their phat-thai and rice dishes, but unfortunately I can see that it is exactly the same things I experience as many people also experience. I can understand that a simple chef can't keep up and there is a limit to what they can take in terms of orders, so yes you have to be really good and order already between 16:00-17:00. The food tastes really good, I have to admit that but the service is like a city in Russia. The website has its own life and what is most frustrating is the extremely arrogant treatment you get and when you just try to explain they are completely indifferent. Both the owner and the young employee at the cash register. It is really sad that you can be so indifferent to your customers. But yes, I think people put up with it because their prices are still a lot cheaper despite them having raised the price a few times now. If they could smile and welcome the customers better it would make a huge difference.

02/09/2026: Cozy Playland. I was there with 2 grandchildren on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded. Good cafe area with plenty of seating. But if you get up to check on the kids, the table is cleared - too bad

12/08/2026: Good Emmery's cafe with their delicious cafe assortment and cakes. Could wish for more seating for seated guests for more of a cafe atmosphere. Looks a bit more like a bakery with a large space around the counter for to-go purchases.

30/11/2025: Delightful VEGAN options at this cute shop. The staff is super friendly and kind. The facility is clean, especially the toilet. They also have Wifi.

25/11/2025: The lady who were working alone that day, I asked her for a cortado, she made me something that doesn’t look nor taste of cortado. She made the whole thing in under a minute. Couple of minutes later I realise she made it in a dirty cup. It was also awfully cold!! Not drinking there again, especially if that worker was there! She needs to learn how to do dishes and make a decent coffee.

13/07/2026: Got a pretty boring vegetarian sandwich for 65 kroner. Their meat sandwiches are supposed to be very good, but they should do something to spice up their vegetarian sandwiches a bit. A little chilli wouldn't hurt.

12/06/2026: 2 stars. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was really bad. I had such a bad stomach that I had to stay home from work the next day.

07/09/2026: There was a large piece of hard plastic inside the pancake, which I chewed in my mouth before I realized it. The food was of course thrown away and I will never order from there again.

05/07/2026: We all know SMK's Place in the Friheden center and know they also make kebabs over by the playground. I bought a Durum yesterday and their product is always fresh. This time it tasted strange and was really soft. Scooped into something that was wet, maybe the salad was oxidizing idk. But with that said, after 13 hours I'm in the hospital with food poisoning... not only that, I had to say what I was going to have 4 times before he registered it... You guys need to wake up!! This is not okay in any way and you should just be glad I haven't contacted the Danish Food Agency. Honestly, you don't go from super good quality of everything to having such poor quality that the products are about to expire. The salad that definitely comes out whole again both ways 🤮💩

11/10/2026: This place has really good pastries! We tried the American-style brownie, the chocolate cheesecake, and the strawberry crumble, and everything was delicious! The coffee was bad, but in my experience is difficult to find a place with both, good coffee and good bakery. If you read the other reviews, you’ll notice that many of the lower ratings mention the service from a particular bald gentleman. It was actually a bit funny to see that he is indeed quite blunt in his manner. However, the rest of the staff were lovely and really did their best to make us feel welcome. I think his approach is simply a little different from what most people expect when it comes to customer service. Overall, we had a very good experience! The desserts were delicious, and we really enjoyed our visit.

30/09/2026: If you read the reviews you will see that every other one makes mention of a rude encounter with the assumed French owner. Personally, I escaped his wrath but saw his behavior towards others that many described as confrontational and unwelcoming. A previous reviewer mentioned how he starts shouting “HELLO” when people enter the place. That didn’t bother me and I would have shouted HELLO back. Most people are tourists and they are taken aback with this somewhat aggressive behavior. I saw many potential customers come and go because of that. Not a great way to run a successful business. I am guessing if you answered “HELLO” back he would have been fine. The hot chocolate and cinnamon bun were good. My phone battery was dying so I asked the lady at the counter if I can charge my phone and she let me use hers behind the counter, which was very nice. So personally I had a good experience. At the same time I do not recommend the place for large parties. Maybe you get lucky and catch the owner in good mood (50-50) and be ready to shout HELLO as soon as you enter :)

22/08/2026: We ordered four burgers and a manor steak, which were tasteless and definitely not worth the price. I definitely think the microwave in the kitchen needs an upgrade after that experience. The male waiter had an attitude throughout the entire process and was not that service minded. Therefore, I would definitely not recommend eating here.

05/08/2026: Magical afternoon in the garden with lunch, a performance with the Operetta Company and tea and homemade cakes during the break. Definitely recommended ♥️

30/07/2026: Good if veltliner, good fish or panko fried fish fillet with hearty remoulade and avocado and shrimp as well as a good children's menu at a fair price. Not cheap but good value for the area. And super cozy garden...
