23/07/2025: Stay away if you don't want the worst food you can imagine!!! An evening with a 70th birthday was ruined by Pakhuset Svaneke and their totally indifferent petty “chef” and his inedible food!!! My mother turned 70 and what was supposed to be an unforgettable evening, with good food and coziness was completely and utterly RUINED by the chef at Pakhuset Svaneke. Our food was RUINED!!! We ordered, among other things, Ribeye steak with bearnaise sauce, fried medium red, - but which was so ruined and cooked through, and the sauce was foamy and without tarragon. Seriously I (we) have NEVER had such a bad “food experience” ever in my (our) life. The steak was overcooked and completely ruined, and the fries were cold and soft, and the gravy was foamy and without tarragon - we complained about the quality, and the otherwise nice waiters tried to create a good atmosphere, but it didn't matter, because when we got our replacement steak, the quality was exactly the same. Even the replacement steak was also cold and completely overcooked (despite the request for medium rare) and the fries were even the same as before, which had only now become colder and indifferent, and despite another complaint about the steak and fries, and that we were missing the gravy, there was never a new gravy, - which was also unnecessary, since several from our party chose to go out of town and find another place to eat…. Thanks to Pakhuset Svaneke for completely ruining a 70th birthday! Unless you are starving or planning to serve the food to your dog (if it wants to eat it), do not eat at Svaneke Pakhus. To top off the experience, a visit from one of the guests to the toilet was the highlight of the experience, as the toilets are damp and unclean, with wet floors from God knows what, no toilet paper, and clear signs of mold and lack of cleaning. Eat from the toilet or from a trash can - all things being equal, it is a better and more rewarding "experience" than at Pakhus Svaneke.

20/07/2025: The food was a disaster. Two years ago, the salad buffet was included in the price. Now it costs an extra €4. The ribs, which were available back then and actually always were, were removed from the menu. I then opted for a hamburger, but I couldn't get that rubbery patty down. A real disgrace for the price of €30!

04/01/2026: Absolute waste of money - I ordered a Southern Fried Chicken Combo meal with vinegar fries instead of twister fries. I received a disheveled burger which looked like it had been thrown together by a toddler. To add insult to injury it didn’t have the blue cheese creme or hot sauce detailed in the advertisement above the order desk and the vinegar fries arrived as twister fries and cold. Finally the cost - 205 kröne (approximately £25) and mine went straight in the bin! Go to Burger King - two minutes walk away and get a better burger for 20 kröne! Exceptionally disappointed!

04/01/2026: The place is small with some tables at the counter, good thing is that people ate their meals fast so there was almost always a free spot to sit on. I had a really delicious burger in here, nicely seasoned, the bun was fluffy and the meat was super juicy. Good experience overall, would like to come back.

31/08/2025: Excellent experience. We stopped by for a night cap. Christian brought us to a place we could have never imagined. Incredible experience, he guided us along the menu and made it an exceptional night. Christian is your pilot, let him take you where you need to go! Excellent experience, can’t wait to see them again

28/11/2025: Title: Uneven quality, poor service and poor error handling We chose to visit Red & Yellow in Rødovre Centrum, which markets itself as a combined café, restaurant and steakhouse. Based on the description, we expected an evening with good service and decent quality – but unfortunately the overall experience was far from satisfactory. It was already clear during the ordering process that the waiters were very young and did not know the menu very well. We asked about a wine and the ingredients in their stir-fried tartare, but the waiter could not answer the questions. This gave the impression of a lack of training and professionalism. We also noticed two employees wearing very dirty clothes, who were carrying plates between floors. This did not seem in line with a place that also wants to appear as a steakhouse and “gourmet”-like on the ground floor. We ordered three tenderloins medium rare. The waiting time was stated to be 20 minutes, which is quite common. Yet the food was served after only 15 minutes, and the quality was rushed: one piece was okay, but the other two were cooked through except for the middle, and one of the pieces had both fat and tendons. This seems to be a general problem, as many other guests describe similar experiences with inconsistent preparation and quality. When we complained, the head waiter was called. Instead of accepting the problem and offering a fair solution, we were given long explanations about cutting the tenderloin and a choice between waiting another 20 minutes or receiving a free coffee. Neither of these resolved the situation. We didn't want to have the food thrown away and therefore asked for a significant reduction in the price. Still, we ended up paying almost 1,200 kr. – including a 130 kr. discount and a free beer. 😂 Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the restaurant's own marketing or the expectations one normally has of a steakhouse. Service, hygiene, preparation and handling of errors were significantly below standard.

12/11/2025: Got a New York burger today which was extremely tasty, fried perfectly and with fantastic caramelized onions, can definitely be recommended, have previously had their open sandwiches which are also super nice at reasonable prices. 👍👍👍

22/09/2025: Usualy i give positive reviews but this is the second time we get carrot cake and it is from couple days ago. Personally I will not pay 85 dkk for not fresh cake. I got a cheaper cake from another store which was tasting much better. Even after complaining it, they did not accept it.

19/09/2025: After a long period as a regular customer in Lagkagehuset Bagsværd, we must unfortunately admit that I do not want to go there anymore. A new clerk gives really bad vibes and seems almost snobbish or "it does not suit her to have to serve me" I have experienced her twice and both times have been an unpleasant experience. A clear fake "hospitality". We have used this particular location for a long period of time due to the consistently good quality of coffee, which is unfortunately not the case in all stores. So we are very sad to have to find a new store.

31/12/2025: Wasn’t very good food. The “vibe” inside is ok to say the least, yet it’s extremely hot upstairs. Bathroom is a major plus, yet the food didn’t live up to expectations unfortunately. The bread was like a tortilla, which marked the durum as a lesser experience here in Copenhagen.

04/12/2025: Dry oven potatoes without the veggies that was part of the dish, the reason: cuz they didn't have any, which I was told to be a common risk nomatter what I ordered. they failed to let you know before serving. still they charged for a full dish.

11/10/2025: Had an excellent meal here. It was so nice we decided to go back again tonight and it didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, great service and just a lovely ambience in the place. Highly recommend.

29/09/2025: (Scroll down to read about the 1 star review). I found this little bar on the side of the water, just a few moments after I arrived in my hotel. I've had a pasta dish with shrimps and tomatoes, which was pretty good. Together with a pint of Carlsberg, I enjoyed the evening sun at the table outside. The reasons why I give only 1 star, is this: When you pay by bank card, the device asks how much money you want to give as a tip. Before the bartender handed me the machine, he quickly hit the 15% amount, (the maximum amount), and gave it to me as if nothing happened. I don't mind giving a tip, but don't take it and act if its the most normal thing in the world! That is scamming! I took my loss and didn't mention it. And once again, the food was good. But when you see the total amount on the display, hit the red button, and say that you decide how much you want to tip!
