11/10/2025: Their Turkish bread is the size of a pita bread and they charge 60 kr for it. There is almost no difference between it and the pita bread, so take the pita bread.

24/10/2025: My boyfriend and I recently ate at this restaurant and unfortunately it was a hugely disappointing experience. The food was not replenished and what was available was either cold or tasteless. The selection looked sad and the quality was not up to expectations at all. It was definitely not worth the money and we will not be back.

04/10/2025: Super bad experience from too good to go. The sushi was basically just consisting of cucumber and imitation crab, we had to wait 45 min and the hygiene in the restaurant was pretty bad. The few pieces of fish that we had were smelling bad such that I would not dare to eat it. I really can not recommend this place at all. :(

28/05/2025: Very nice place, the food tastes good and their lobby is huge. One minus is that the owner is not a big fan of gloves. Otherwise everything is good.

23/05/2025: Really good pizzas! Nice with a capricciosa that had crispy ham. The salad pizza was good, the fries were crispy (high praise!) and the chicken was good. The food was also hot and quickly prepared. The service was really nice and helpful, so we will order from here again. There is no shawarma which would have been delicious with a salad pizza but otherwise it was really good.

22/11/2025: The service was rude and nosy; the lady overheard our conversation and made comments. When we ordered drinks, she was upset that she had to make them even though the place was empty. The drinks were very weak and not good. The food was very average; for the price, we expected something better. I don't recommend it.

07/10/2025: Me and my wife went there recently. My wife Debo asked me personally to write this review. We arrived in the evening when most of the day was pouring with rain. Inside was very cozy and quiet. We ordered the 1-protein bowl, matcha latte, and cappuccino. The food and coffee was good. We really enjoyed the overall experience. Coffee and snacks in rainy evening fits so good. 😍

02/08/2025: I decided to take my girlfriend to this place because she had wanted to for a long time. From the outside, everything is cool, bright, I like it. When we went inside, it was quite dark. There were very few people. We ordered waffles for each person and a latte for each. It took a relatively long time to prepare, but this is understandable - because 2 people are working. They brought us waffles, but the portion was catastrophically small. The girl liked everything except the portion of food, and I - except for coffee and waffles, nothing else, but I also had a catastrophically small portion. The girl may come, but I definitely will not. Therefore, my assessment is this.

23/09/2025: My experience here wasn't the best. The products seem reasonably good, but the atmosphere is extremely chaotic, messy, and even dirty. I recently tried the Americano and the smørrebrød, which I recommend because they offer a mix of flavors and ingredients different from what's usually found in smørrebrød (the one I tried is perhaps less typical, but its taste is perhaps closer to most people's palates/tastes. So, not exceptional, but definitely good). However, the quality of the ingredients itself seemed pretty standard. I would still recommend getting food and drinks to go, because I found everything inside uncomfortable, from the noise to the service to the dirtiness, especially in the bathroom. The place is not suitable for those with mobility issues or children.

17/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – A fantastic experience at Esmeralda! We had a truly wonderful experience at Esmeralda! The food was really delicious, freshly prepared and tasted absolutely fantastic – everything was as it should be. The portions were appropriate, everything came quickly, and you could really taste that love and quality are put into the ingredients. The service was top-notch. The food was served quickly and hot, and the staff were incredibly nice, smiling and attentive throughout. They came several times and asked if everything was as it should be and if we needed anything – without it feeling intrusive in any way. It gave a really good and relaxed atmosphere. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also absolutely perfect – cozy, warm and inviting, not cold or impersonal like many other places can be. The decor was nice and cozy, and everything was clean and well-maintained, including the toilet, which means a lot to the overall impression. It all just worked: fast service, good food, cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. You felt really welcome from start to finish. We will definitely be back – Esmeralda gets our highest recommendation! If you are looking for a place with great food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, this is the place to go.

02/07/2025: If you like to wait a long time for your food, receive food you didn't order (and in turn not receive what you actually HAVE ordered) and otherwise find it charming to have a waiter who rolls his eyes at you when you ask for something - this is the place! We have given the place repeated chances (as the food is actually good), but experience the same thing time and time again - so now I think we will find another place next time :-)

02/08/2025: Stay far away from this place. I normally eat everything so I'm not weird but this food experience is not worth the risk. I ordered take away from them through just eat. All 3 dishes were inedible. The Greek salad. Smelled of rotten tomatoes. My spaghetti with meat strips consisted of overcooked tiny noodles floating in creamy soup. And as you can see in the picture I don't need to describe the English steak. The picture speaks for itself. It was like eating sand. Seriously I was so disappointed and upset that I tried to force myself to eat a few bites crying. But couldn't bring myself to. Especially when I tried to convince myself that the salad couldn't be bad. I felt nauseous from the rotten smell and the sour taste.
