26/07/2025: Staff were lovely The Great Danish was really good and flavourful!! Saw comments complaining about the bun but I found it really nice and fluffy. 4 stars as it was slightly expensive coming in at £30.55 for 2 hotdogs and 2 drinks.

21/07/2025: I decided to stop by TheDogHouse and get the Danish Dog because it looked like a wild mix of local flavors I’d never tried before. I’m so glad I did. The combination of toppings and sausages was totally unique, with traditional Danish havarti, pickles, crispy fried onions, and remoulade all stacked into a warm, fresh bun. What I really loved was that this wasn’t just a novelty hot dog; it was genuinely delicious and super satisfying. You could tell a lot of thought went into putting together something that represented Copenhagen’s food scene but was also just an excellent bite on its own. I’d put it up there as one of the food highlights of our trip—and that’s saying something given how much good food there is in this city.

31/08/2025: Really good sandwich with lots of filling. Friendly and accommodating service

13/08/2025: We have been regular customers and usually visit the store regularly, but on August 13th around 4pm we had a less than good experience. When we arrived, two employees were sitting outside on the benches smoking. Shortly after, they were ready to make our sandwich/bagel/salad. Even though hands were washed and gloves were used, it still didn't feel completely hygienic to us, so we chose not to buy anything that day. Maybe smoking breaks could be taken in the backyard or somewhere away from the store, so the impression of hygiene is maintained. We're taking a break from here and hope that the owner changes this approach. Otherwise, the food is super good.

19/11/2025: Peter Bayer Chokolade in Lyngby Storcenter is a fantastic place if you love quality ice cream and chocolate. The selection is impressive, and the taste is top-notch – you can really feel that the ingredients have been cared for. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the store is cozy, which makes the experience even better. The only small minus was that the display cases could have been a little cleaner. It's a detail, but it detracts a bit from the overall impression when you're standing there choosing among the delicious products. That said, the quality of the ice cream and chocolate is so good that it still deserves 5 stars. I'll definitely come back and can highly recommend the place to anyone with a sweet tooth!

29/08/2025: The restaurant opened for the weekend where they advertised that they had gotten hold of some super good Angus meat and therefore offered a 2-course menu. We booked a table for Friday evening at 7 pm. When we arrived we were told we could only order pizza…… Told why we were there and what they were advertising. She wanted to ask in the kitchen but never came back and just served other tables and we could then stand and stare. We therefore chose to leave. I can also see that the owner himself has made a 5-star review and lots of praise for his own restaurant on TripAdvisor 2 days ago!!!!!!

10/11/2025: I just bought a sandwich at Byens Bager on Fortvej. The kind where you choose what goes in it yourself. The bread was dry, I could tell when she cut the bun and had to use some effort to get through it, and the chicken too. Neither of them were fresh. I rarely go there and after this, I won't be back. The staff always seem bored, and you come at an inconvenient time.

20/07/2025: No more bakers in town. Still pitch black French bread. The rolls are crunchy and dry. Too bad, because the baker was really good, but he's far from it now.

30/07/2025: Really delicious gl.daws ice cream cone and soft ice cream they have here. Update: now we have also tried the food, pizzas, dürüm and pita bread. And it was a disappointing experience. The taste is missing, the bread for all 3 things was dry and hard. A little bit of a letdown.

26/10/2025: You always have to wait in line for at least 10 minutes.

15/08/2025: I love their cafe latte, but this particular Espresso House is open in the center's walkway area. I'm not so crazy about that.

26/09/2025: Large selection - but the baker has dropped the salt jar in the dough.. It has gone completely wrong - if that is the norm, then it is very close to being harmful to health!

31/08/2025: HEY GUYS!!! It’s me again today from this small and cozy coffee place in the city centre🔆 STAFF - not so friendly but speaks English fluently and helps a lot. FOOD - The coffee wasn’t that good, and for some reason the cappuccino was really REALLY big 😅 but the pastry and also the sandwiches were really tasty and not pricey. I would recommend this place for morning coffee, the only thing that I would say as a minus would be that there are no toilets, not that friendly staff and big coffees. But delicious food and nice and cozy spot.

25/06/2025: I went from loving my first night here to being treated like a burden by staff. Charging $3.98 USD for sparking water is totally within your prerogative and I believe it is on me to learn price before ordering. But for an order that has been free from every other bar and res I’ve been to (7) of the last establishments,dispensed from a soda line (not bottled) to be chargedat $4 or 26dkk is not ok to me without a reasonable communication of the price. It felt like it was priced out of animosity towards a privileged American… which I most certainly am - but I’m also trying to share genuine heartfelt feedback so I really hope staff reads this and that you visit them to give them the benefit of the doubt. To the bartenders, I really enjoyed the drink thank you. Sincerely the tall dude.

14/07/2025: Have got it wrong 3 times In durum there should be kebab salad dressings you got chicken without and say so Then I ordered some days tendons with durum with chicken salads dressings didn't get it all then I ordered a pita bread with kebab then suddenly got half chicken and half kebab without and eat it Then I ordered in it with pita bread kebab salads dressings you didn't get it all even though you write that it should just be kebab salads dressings How hard is it to understand what you write tired of the different all the time and the old days were in a lot of begging without problems

30/07/2025: A real "Chinese grill" that is almost impossible to find anymore. From Chinese specialties like homemade spring rolls and rice dishes to Danish classics like pork roast and meatball sandwiches - they have it all (including potatoes and brown gravy). There is sometimes a bit of a wait, but it is nice to sit at the small tables and enjoy a Cocio while you wait.
