10/12/2025: As a Canadian here for work and who had his family visiting for a few days, we really appreciated this place. The atmosphere has a great vibe, cool music (70’s rock/pop), the food was novel and interesting (we got the 6 course option) and the service was the best I’ve experienced in Copenhagen. The server paired our courses with great wines. They also accommodated a 4 month old baby without issue. Highly recommend.

The balance between the bun, toppings, and patty is spot on, making each bite satisfying without ever feeling too heavy or overcomplicated. It’s simplicity done right, with high-quality ingredients speaking for themselves. What really stands out is the consistency and attention to detail. Everything from the freshness of the produce to the texture of the bun feels carefully thought through. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they’ve refined their concept over time and truly understand what makes a great burger. On top of the food, the atmosphere is made even better by the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about the guest experience. The service strikes a great balance—efficient and professional, yet relaxed and approachable, which fits perfectly with the overall vibe of the place. The location in Hellerup is also a big plus. It’s very easy to access, and parking is convenient, which can otherwise be a challenge in many places. For those driving electric vehicles, having chargers right outside is a fantastic added convenience and makes it an even more attractive stop. All in all, Gasoline Grill in Hellerup manages to combine exceptional food, great service, and practical convenience into a really enjoyable experience. It’s the kind of place you find yourself wanting to return to—not just because the burgers are outstanding, but because the whole visit feels effortless and consistently high quality.

25/06/2026: Delicious burgers! I ordered the green burger and was surprised at how delicious it was. Fries were also very good. The staff were very friendly and kind, but the restaurant would have benefited from having one more person working in the front. However, she did a great job of keeping up with the customers without making anyone wait for more than a few minutes.

23/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and a must if you are going to hold a Christmas party! The food tasted excellent, and there was even entertainment in the evening. The owner is also extremely pleasant, and you feel very welcome, also by the staff.

09/01/2026: After the new owner came, it seems like a lot has changed. Less gorgonzola than usual in that dish, a very long time from ordering to getting the food, and you had drunk your coffee before the dessert came (otherwise it would have gone cold) and the "apple pie" had absolutely NOTHING to do with pie or apple - it was puff pastry without a hint of apple.

16/05/2026: Was there for a party for a three course menu. Really nice and attentive service who during the entire event made sure that we never lacked anything at the table. The food and atmosphere were very good without being flashy.

15/06/2025: It was our first experience in Denmark, and we couldn't have wished for a better start. The place has a fantastic concept that we can highly recommend to anyone who appreciates genuine atmosphere and musical charm. It felt like stepping back 30 years in time – when you were still allowed to smoke indoors, and the atmosphere was intimate and authentic. We were pleasantly surprised by Signe (we hope we remember her name correctly), who dedicated a song to us – a really nice and personal gesture. The pianist and the other singers also delivered a strong and atmospheric performance. We were there on Wednesday – and we came back on Friday, it was that good! We felt very welcome and almost like regulars, even though we were the only tourists. We will definitely come back one day when we are back in Denmark.

04/12/2025: A small restaurant/cafe next to the Best Western. Well priced with friendly and pleasant staff. The apple pie is great with the tiger spice chai latte. Also try the bacon and cheese burger.

14/07/2026: Very good pizza, but we waited about 45 minutes for our food. Several were very critical of the wait. So 4 stars for the food, but only 2 because the pizza shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.

12/07/2026: One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in Denmark. I live in Copenhagen and previously in London and this is up there with the best pizzas I’ve had outside of Italy. The vegan pizza was exceptionally good, as was the marinara. The quality of the ingredients was clearly very high and the combinations of the toppings was well considered and inventive. The best food I ate in Snogebæk for sure. Go here! So much better than the pizza in the neighbouring place. My only tip would be that they cook the pizzas a tiny bit higher / harder.
