19/11/2025: We went to Pincho Nation and had a really lovely evening there. The concept is similar to tapas: you order lots of small dishes via the app and try a variety of things from the menu. I would definitely recommend ordering about 4-6 dishes per person, as the portions are rather small – this way you can really sample and share. It's very convenient that you order via the app: you get a code at reception to unlock your table. A little tip: it's best to download the app beforehand; then everything goes even faster on site. You get your drinks yourself at the bar, and the food is then brought to your table – it all works very smoothly and quickly. I was particularly impressed by how family-friendly it is: children are absolutely welcome, the atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing, and the whole family feels comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful – despite the app-based system, you never feel like you're being left on your own. The ambiance is also a highlight: The decor is reminiscent of a circus, creating a fun and unique atmosphere – colorful, vibrant, and simply something different from a "normal" restaurant. Overall: delicious, affordable, family-friendly, a great concept, and a super friendly team. We definitely recommend it – we'll be back!

04/04/2026: The snacks served before the meal are really delicious. The view is great, and the robot is cute and fascinating. The salmon roll is fresh, and the rice bowl is also really tasty.

13/06/2026: Tried their harissa croissant and raisin swirl, both were good (andit's rare to find raisin swirls in Copenhagen in the first place), but not mindblowing. However, their müsli bun was honestly amazing, so flavourful, with a moist and spongy texture. I definitely want to come back to try some of their other bread to see if it's just as good!

02/05/2026: We came here almost every day during our stay in Copenhagen. The expresso was delicious, same level as the one I take at home with beans from a very good roaster. The spandauer was the best I had in the city, and the muesli bread and sourdough bread were delicious. We were served by different staff depending on the day, and they were all lovely.

26/05/2025: Stopped by this lovely little bakery and honestly, I’m already planning my next visit. The coffee was absolutely amazing—I had an oat flat white and it was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right temperature. Easily one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. I also treated myself to a slice of cheesecake, and wow… it was incredible. Creamy, rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite left me wanting more. If I didn’t have to leave, I’d probably still be sitting there with a second slice and another flat white! The vibe in the bakery was warm and welcoming—definitely the kind of place you could spend a slow morning or afternoon. Highly recommend to any coffee and dessert lover.

24/05/2025: Went to 2 stores multiple times while we were on a short break in Copenhagen. Can thoroughly recommend the coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The stores can get busy a peak times but the efficient and polite staff know how to cope.

06/06/2026: Spend your money elsewhere. This place has potential, but the young guys working there, lack basic brain and organisational skills. I certainly expect better food and service for 180kr (??)

21/10/2025: Cakenhagen offers a truly refined dessert experience in the heart of Tivoli. The tea is nice and they have beautifully crafted pastries that are as delicious as they are artistic. The service is good, with staff who are attentive and passionate about what they do. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place to indulge and unwind. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine desserts and Danish hospitality at its best.

20/09/2025: We visited Cakenhagen, Tivoli Gardens on 19 Sep 2025 after dinner and were lucky to be served by Maryanne. She went above and beyond to get us a table for three, set up a cozy indoor spot, and made my husband’s birthday extra special by bringing the cake I had reserved with a candle. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our evening truly memorable. Highly recommend!❤️

14/06/2026: Oh, I love the pastries here! It's easy to understand why they're so popular on social media. The cake I chose was delicious, with a lovely buttery aroma and just the right amount of sweetness. The matcha latte was also fantastic. The only downside is the price is a bit high, but that's understandable given the bakery's prime location.

09/06/2026: Was at a conference with overnight stay. Beautiful hotel with an atmosphere of the "old" days with nice decor. Service was faultless and the room was nice and clean. There are also good parking options close to the hotel at a reasonable price. Or free a few minutes walk away.

07/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Marienlyst Strandhotel. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and luxurious, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and a large bathroom with two showers. Everything was thoughtfully designed and made our stay feel truly special. Although we did not have dinner at the hotel, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast early in the morning. The quality and selection were excellent and provided a perfect start to the day. I also visited the spa. While parts of it are currently under renovation, there were still facilities available to enjoy, and the experience was very relaxing. I am already looking forward to returning once the renovation is completed. One of the highlights of the hotel is its fantastic location. Sitting by the sea with a glass of wine, enjoying the view of Kronborg Castle (Hamlet’s Castle), or taking a peaceful walk along the waterfront creates a truly memorable experience. Marienlyst Strandhotel is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have visited in Denmark. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway, and I cannot wait to return.

21/06/2026: Im coming back here every time I have cravings for pizza. It’s always made out of scratch with fresh and delicious ingredients and plenty of toppings. Very tasty pizza, you won’t be disappointed either eating here (plenty of space to sit down) or taking out. Place is very very clean with super polite staff (owners) who will take care of you. Highly recommended!!!!!
