16/09/2025: Cute little coffee shop, good selection of pastries and drinks with nice staff.

26/08/2025: A lovely cup of coffee, tasty chai latte and really fresh and juicy pastries (albeit bakeoff), but I have had significantly more boring and dry croissants & cinnamon rolls from bakeries in Aarhus. I will happily come back! Vestergade is a super cozy street, and Bills coffee is a phenomenal place to sit and enjoy a coffee with a sweet treat Even more positive for me is that I get to have my four-legged friend with me 🐶

01/07/2025: The food is good, something different from what we usually eat in Aarhus. There is a lot of things to choose and many flavours. It’s a place that easily makes a difference from other places in Aarhus due to the nice service. But…. is extremely expensive for the portions given.

30/06/2025: Absolutely amazing food. Especially the shashlik and khinkali dishes were worth the visit alone. Nice place, friendly service and good wines. Definitely worth the visit.

02/10/2025: This historic inn is an excellent stop. The rooms in the annex are a bit dated, but functional, clean, and equipped with very comfortable beds. The main building is charming and cozy, and the breakfast is excellent and varied. If you get a chance, have dinner (kitchen open until 8 p.m.). The food is excellent, at fine dining level, and with a varied wine list. The staff is also very friendly.

01/08/2025: We had a wonderful, beautiful, and delicious lunch today that was everything we hoped of a kro experience! Norre Vissing Kro is picturesque from outside and in. The interior is the perfect blend of old and new and the welcome is warm and hospitable. It felt traditional, elevated, cozy, and modern all at the same time. For lunch, you can choose between à la carte or their specials of the day, three distinct dishes served on one plate, in this case a white fish (not sure which but delicious, so I would like to know!) in a mango sauce with frisée and toasted almonds, paella with chicken and mussels (wonderfully seasoned!!!), and a gorgeous piece of veal loin topped with a bit of a spicy ratatouille with a side of truffle dip, sort of like a labneh. Gorgeous food, presentation, and perfectly portioned! In fact I was worried it would be too much food when I heard what it was but it was wisely portioned and I could have eaten heaps of that beautiful paella! This array of dishes is followed by a petite - again perfectly portioned - cheese board with an onion compote and freshly baked bread. The two wines we had were both very good and the Chardonnay with notes of elderflower being a particular standout. The authenticity, purity, and passion are evident in the service, food, and experience. I’d love to go back for the multi-course dinner menu sometime! Oh yes, and thank you for being so sweet and accommodating to our dog! He loved how peaceful it was, plus the guests table next to us gave him their leftover meat. He was also in heaven!

06/10/2025: Always sweet and smiling service. The ice cream is especially the children's favorite, but they also always deliver a delicious burger or a good "waiting" hotdog.

03/10/2025: Lovely place with good food and 2 happy grandchildren, you can't ask for more. ❤️

04/10/2025: Delicious as always. Lots of sushi - it's lovely. We come here regularly. Now they also have an extra selection of cakes in the dessert cabinet. A plus is the reasonable prices on the wine list.

19/10/2025: We've been coming here for food and drinks for ages. The quality is always top-notch. The service is excellent. But due to the rising prices, we rarely come anymore. It's a shame.

26/01/2025: A cozy restaurant. We stopped by in January, and there were seats available. Great view of the water. Prices are in the mid-range, the food is top notch, and the waiters have a twinkle in their eye. We had oysters and Moules frites, and can definitely recommend them both 🙏. They also have meat dishes by the way 😉 We'll be back 😊 .. and thanks for the food, and good service!

11/08/2025: Arrived at 00:05 to find our room hadn’t been cleaned — and there was no staff on the premises. We had to call by phone to get any assistance. The whole hotel has a faint unpleasant smell in rooms and corridors, and the atmosphere is soulless. Plastic and cardboard cups in the room like a campsite. Breakfast was terrible — at one point, a staff member came around with a hospital-style tray and plastic bucket collecting leftover food from tables. Absolutely not worth the price.

09/08/2025: Disappointing stay with poor service – but good breakfast Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. We experienced several problems with the room, which the reception was unable to handle satisfactorily. There was no access to wifi or the possibility of using Chromecast, and the staff had different – and contradictory – explanations for the cause. This created confusion and made it difficult to find a solution. After the first bath, we discovered that the shower cabin was blocked. We pointed this out to the reception, where we were told that it would be fixed. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and the problem continued for the rest of our stay. The lack of TV and internet access meant that I had to ask for an alternative solution myself. We were offered a bottle of wine as compensation – a wine for 55kr….. In the end, I chose to go to Elgiganten and buy a Chromecast myself, to ensure some entertainment for the late evening hours. On the positive side, it should be mentioned that the breakfast buffet was both delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay.

23/09/2025: Nice Belgian waffle, but the coffee was rancid from sitting in the pot for too long.
