11/12/2025: I keep coming back here. It's cozy and the food is spot on. A little sour fact about their beverage selection: They have Belgian Trappist beer… on tap! 😀 The Affligem Double is especially tasty if you like that kind of thing. I'll be back. 🙂

13/08/2025: If you want uncompromisingly delicious food, cake and coffee in the green forest, then you have found the place. Here your shoulders immediately drop and the cozy surroundings invite you to chat. Sit outside and listen to the birdsong and watch the swallows floating in and out of the building - or inside where relaxed music soothes your nerves. My favorite food is chicken salad, but breakfast, coffee and cake are also high on the list. We like to drive from Funen to Sorø to visit our favorite cafe.

16/11/2025: I needed 12 sandwiches for the company, as we were sending a colleague on maternity leave. On Friday I was told that I could certainly order, but that I would have to pay extra for delivery to Stenløse. We really wanted that. But on Sunday we were told that they couldn't deliver anyway, as they don't make such "long" trips. Fortunately, SPRØD in Roskilde was able to help – even with the short notice that it suddenly was.

01/11/2025: Really bad experience and bad service. We sat at home and ordered by phone from the store in Karlslunde at 8:00 PM, where they asked for a phone number. And all so they could contact us. We were supposed to have it brought home and it was fine. Then we ended up sitting and waiting for 1 1/2 hours for the food, where we were not contacted by the staff, and now the restaurant has closed, so we can't get a hold of them either. We have no idea if they are coming or not, but now we are without food and everything else has closed. WORST SERVICE

21/11/2025: Cozy café where you can get a nice big cup of black coffee and really good cakes. Friendly staff. It is also possible to buy sandwiches and a selection of good rye bread or French bread.

In short: Herthadalen is perfect for couples who want a wedding day in scenic, authentic and relaxed surroundings without compromising on style, aesthetics and quality. As photographers, we can highly recommend the place.

14/11/2025: In the fall of 2025 we held our wedding party there and have also been to a company event. Would give 3.5/5 stars if possible. - Location: 5 out of 5 stars - Communication before the wedding and service during: 5 out of 5 stars Food Wedding, small party: - Snacks purchased: 4**** (the two were exceptionally good while the third on some vegetable was boring) - Starter: 5**** (trout) - Main course: 1* (venison. Everything on every plate was refrigerator cold, the meat itself was sticky and 'gritty'. Ended up eating 40 minutes after serving, when they tried to warm the dish up a bit. It was then 20-30C instead of 5C.) - Dessert: 3.5*** (campfire comfort, which had a stronger smoky flavor than expected. Went well with coffee/red wine) - Petit fours: 2** (two of the three types were the same as the dessert. Can't even remember the last one. I think I got away too easily. Also, it was too chewy). - Drinks: 5***** Company event for 50-60 people - Starter: 5***** (mackerel) - Main course: 4**** (beef, missed extra sauce on the tables, otherwise classic and simple - Dessert: 2** (cream in biscuit tart with fig. Tasted absolutely nothing and few people ate it) So all in all a good experience but don't dare trust them to serve food of the standard we expected.

26/07/2025: Went for a birthday with a delicious champagne brunch in beautiful surroundings. A lovely brunch table filled with tasty treats.

06/11/2025: Lovely hotel we enjoy ourselves a lot when we visit Køge, good location to the center good shopping opportunities. There is good service and nice service from the moment you arrive and check out. Super delicious well-prepared food served with a smile cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, delicious breakfast buffet that lacked nothing. We will definitely come again
