12/12/2025: We have been looking for good, authentic Indian food for a long time. We have now found it and we will be back. Really friendly service, fantastic food, great atmosphere.

01/12/2025: Fantastically tasty and well-prepared food in reasonable portions at affordable prices. The restaurant clearly makes a living from take-away and although there is a place for diners, the interior of the place is more reminiscent of a warehouse than a restaurant. Nevertheless, my favorite restaurant in Randers

06/05/2026: This is a difficult review to write because the atmosphere and service deserve 5 stars. The energy in the restaurant is warm, cozy and makes you feel happy to be there. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. ​However, as someone from Italy, I have to be honest about the food: The pizza was not good. The dough instead of a light, authentic Italian crust, it was very thick, heavy and "tough." It felt more like a thick bread than a traditional pizza. Go for the drinks, the wonderful service and the "happy days" vibe with friends, but if you are looking for authentic, thin Italian pizza, this isn't it yet. The kitchen needs to "rewire" their dough recipe to match the high quality of their hospitality.

21/05/2026: After a long seminar day in Horsens, we checked into the beautiful Comwell Bygholm Park — a hotel that looks like it belongs in a period drama where someone important owns horses and speaks very slowly about inheritance. The location is super convenient, and the historic atmosphere gives the place real charm. Behind the hotel there’s a lovely park, perfect for running, walking, or dramatically reflecting on life while pretending you’re in a Scandinavian crime series. The restaurant was genuinely very good — proper quality food and a surprisingly elegant experience. Breakfast, however, felt more like “we tried our best and then went home early.” Not terrible, just very average. The kind of breakfast where you walk around twice hoping a hidden bacon station will suddenly appear. One interesting feature: rooms are spread across two buildings. If you stay in the secondary building and want breakfast, you must cross the courtyard outside. In summer this probably feels romantic. In cold Danish weather it feels more like a Viking survival challenge before coffee. There’s also a small gym hidden in the basement of the side building. A few dumbbells, some cardio machines, and enough equipment to convince yourself you’re still “staying active” while travelling. Unfortunately, housekeeping seemed to be on a flexible interpretation of cleanliness. The carpet looked like it had survived several historical periods, and the bathroom mirror and sink still carried visible marks from previous guests’ adventures. Overall: charming historic hotel, beautiful surroundings, good restaurant, decent for business travel — just bring warm clothes for breakfast expeditions and maybe avoid inspecting the carpet too closely.

07/06/2026: It started off well; the place is very nice, not many people at lunchtime so it was quiet. The decor is nice, but the waiter is overdoing it, and as for the bobun (which he doesn't call that), it was inedible… the spring rolls were so full of black pepper that they were actually bad. I tried to explain that I don't eat spicy food, but they told me it wasn't spicy and then that in Vietnam, that's how they eat it. Unfortunately, that's not true. Very disappointed, especially since the menu looked promising.

27/07/2025: A very nice bakery with, besides the usual selection, some very luxurious pastries and cakes. It's also a great place to pick up sandwiches and grab a coffee to go. There's no seating, but there's a small square opposite, which offers a nice spot in dry weather.

25/10/2025: Food was hot and fresh highly recommend. Good service the man behind the cash register had a positive energy and good prices 150 kr for a menu there is nothing to complain about.

04/10/2025: I ordered a Smokeys Crazy Cheese menu at Smokeys Burger Bar on Vesterbrogade – and it was a top-notch experience! The burger was 10/10, really tasty and juicy, and their fries were just in the cupboard with the perfect amount of salt. There was also some greens, which gave a fresh touch – I don’t know exactly what it was, but it went surprisingly well. The service was also top-notch. The guy at the cashier was super friendly and added both a chili mayo and a gringo mayo for free – it’s just the little things that make a huge difference. Fast service, great atmosphere and really delicious food. Can only recommend Smokeys – here you get both quality, taste and service at a high level 👌🍔🍟

08/06/2026: A very cozy café! Could spend the whole afternoon in there. Delicious toasts, breakfast and cakes, the interior is warm and soft and the best thing is all the books! There are lots of different things on the shelves that you can just borrow and read, as well as books you can buy to take home. It's good for study groups, dates, friends' get-togethers or just sitting alone with a good book. Very inspiring and quiet.

07/06/2026: It's a simple menu where you can get a really nice breakfast. The coffee is in a special class, delicious coffee.

12/06/2026: Nice place in quiet surroundings, yet still close to Billund. The rooms are used and have a slightly worn look which comes from the carpets on the floor. Otherwise it is always nice and clean Good beds for me not too soft and not too hard. Breakfast 7/10 Served from 6.30.

05/05/2026: We came as a family of 2. I really enjoyed the space available. The property has a large playground for children. Billiards, golf, and table football are also available for the older guests. The bunk bed did the trick. I recommend it.
