05/08/2025: It can only be recommended if you are on the go or need a trip out to eat. The food is good the service is good the atmosphere is fantastic have been to all three of the chain's restaurants and they are all worth a visit.

28/07/2025: A dinner service so warm, wonderful and hospitable I literally wept! Everything from top to bottom was expertly executed from our greeting upon arrival, the dishes and wine pairing as well as our host's gracious and well curated explanation of each flight. I don't know much about fine dining and I am not well versed in other higher end CPH tasting menus, but I am extremely confident you will leave satisfied and well taken care of.

20/07/2025: Michelin star experience I will never forget—easily the best dining of my life. From the moment we stepped into the serene courtyard, guided in warmly by the staff, Restaurant Alouette delivered something far beyond food. Jackets taken, preferences noted (including special care for my pregnant fiancée), and we were seated for a journey that felt like stepping into a living, breathing kitchen symphony. The service was extraordinary—a hive mind of grace and timing. Staff moved with quiet precision, each person playing their role without ever feeling rehearsed or robotic. They simply flowed. We chose the non-alcoholic pairing, and I genuinely believe it’s the only way to go. Each house-made juice was crafted specifically for the course it accompanied—from a shiso-plum pairing with milk bread and bone broth, to combinations so perfectly tuned you forget wine was ever an option. Why drink something generic when the restaurant is giving you Michelin-starred creativity in a glass? Now, the food. 14 courses, each remarkable, but the main dish of braised rib and pork loin stood out as a masterclass. It was rich, balanced, and beautifully elevated by its surroundings—juices, sauces, the bread, the company, everything. You don’t eat here. You experience here. But what made the evening unforgettable was the personal touch from the team. One staff member casually asked what brought us to Copenhagen. We mentioned a martial arts camp—no big deal. But soon other staff were greeting us like legends: “Oh! You’re the martial artists!” “Wait till you meet our chef—he trains too!” Then after dinner, in the lounge for tea and treats, the chef himself emerged like an old friend, arms open, exclaiming “You’re the brown belt in jiu-jitsu?” (A detail we never even shared. The back-of-house detective work was top tier.) We laughed, chatted, shared passions—and it was clear: this staff genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. As if that weren’t enough, I later complimented another staff member for sharing cool trivia about the table design—and it turned out he was the owner. He sat with us, spoke warmly about the vision he and his wife brought to life, and left us feeling less like guests, and more like participants in something truly human. ⸻ In a city overflowing with Michelin stars, I couldn’t be more grateful this was the one we booked. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an evening we’ll treasure for a long, long time. Thank you, Alouette. We can’t wait to return.

17/07/2025: Delicious selection in the cafe of open sandwiches, sandwiches, cakes. Eat on the terrace in the garden or indoors in the old main building. Take a walk in the garden under the big trees around the lake. Lots to look at, old furniture, glass and knick-knacks, extremely large LP collection. Definitely worth a visit. Check their website for more info and special events, such as MC meet, Veteran car meet, Christmas markets.

27/07/2025: Lovely little restaurant. We called there just before to ask about being on board, and they were able to reserve a table for us outside. The weather was nice, so it worked out well. The street the restaurant is on is quiet with several places to eat. Very nice service. All the food we had was delicious.

26/07/2025: Excellent tapas and very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend the asparagus with romesco sauce.

25/07/2025: We came for dinner on a Friday a bit aftet 7pm. There were a lot of empty tablets, and they seated us at a table near the back area (near the toilets). The staff were friendly, and while my friend's dishes came out fairly quick, they forgot about my order. Because the servers got busier, they didn't come back. My friend's food got cold because she didn't want to eat while I had nothing. We weren't sure about the etiquette in Denmark, but probably should have walked around to the front to look for someone to ask about my food (though we also weren't sure if it was just taking a really long time to prepare or if they'd forgotten my order). When one of the servers finally did stop by a nearby table, we were able to tell them that I never got my food. They said they'd check, then came back and said it'd be ready in 5 minutes. After a while, another server realized they forgot to put my order in, so it was another 20-25 mins before I finally got my food (baked salmon). They did apologize very sincerely, but I'd been starving for about for an hour, so that detracted from the experience.

16/07/2025: Food was absolutely delicious. Steak and veg were cooked to perfection. Great portions for us and the kids. Nice clean restaurant. Service could have been better. Not unfriendly but not particularly friendly either.

28/06/2025: Wow, I decide to walk by just to grab a beer and see. How this place is, I have not been using Horsens in 10+ years which I realise have been a mistake. The beer selection here is above what I have tried in any other places I have been the last couple of years. I did not try the food, but it looked close to perfect and the amount of board games were also seemed on point. It can get a bit loud but this were a Saturday night. Not sure if the place offers more silent rooms but even with out I would rate it 5 stars.

14/05/2025: I searched for a long time for the best pizza in Odense and in my opinion, it is Tornos. However, I have never eaten at the restaurant - only had it delivered.

18/06/2025: The chicken for the ramen was great! But i have had better ramen in my life. Its average. Regular tap water costs around 20 dkk. However very quiet and nice atmosphere with sound absorbing pads. If you want ramen its a nice place.

13/07/2025: Super hyggeligt sted, med sødt personale. Lækker og spændende mad, flot tilberedt. Vi vil absolut komme igen, når vi skal til Jylland, en anden gang.

15/06/2025: Vi fik en brunch som jeg havde fået i et gavekortbevis. Det var virkelig lækkert, jeg har ikke en finger at sætte på denne brunch. Alt var perfekt. Omgivelserne var en blanding af spansk og skandinavisk design, med guitarmelodier i afdæmpet toneleje. Den unge tjener var super sød, vi ventede ikke og hun imødekom alle vores ønsker. Helt klart anbefalelsesværdig.

25/07/2025: Really lovely, crispy Nacho Triangles filled with melted cheese and brilliant fried Onion Rings 👏 insanely good Aioli, but unfortunately I couldn't eat a burger too, even though they look super delicious and are made with real meat (welfare veal)

22/07/2025: A cozy eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is simple and tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The menu has a good selection and the prices are reasonable. The service is friendly and informal, making it easy to feel at home. We ordered a lunch pancake with chicken, cheese and salad. All in all, it's a nice place to go for a nice and relaxed dinner without the big gestures.

17/05/2025: Had a go at Chops Pizza and to be fair, the service was truly wonderful. Pizza's packed with flavor, outshined by its layers of toppings. The seasoning, balance and ratios were smashed out of the park. The crust also deserves its praise as it was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – perfect. Definitely try the Pasata Coca Rico and Durum Kyling – both were incredibly tasty and well-prepared. You can really tell they use quality ingredients

02/08/2025: Great sandwiches when they are good! Lost a star because they are inconsistent. Sometimes the sandwiches have been average. I often get the Chicken and Bacon sandwich... What makes it great for me is fresh and lightly toasted bread and the right balance of the home made dill sauce. I've had a few sandwiches that weren't toasted (or toasted too little) and with too little sauce. In the end, I really love Regatta sandwiches!

11/08/2025: Very nice. Still friendly and relaxed even shortly after 10:00 PM. The pizza was great. The price for two pizzas was 140 DKK. Everything was great. Card payments are accepted. Cash preferred.

16/07/2025: Top 3 humans oat 2 pizzas combined 145kr (20€) made fresh in less than 15 minutes, and not sparing on the ingredients. Pure love out to this business
