26/07/2026: My boyfriend and I each bought a bagel from Royal Bagel, but unfortunately we both ended up with symptoms suggestive of food poisoning shortly after. It was a really unpleasant experience and definitely not what you expect when buying food out. We hope they take this seriously and ensure that other customers don't experience the same.

14/07/2026: Went here with my 3 children for their first time to try Indian food. We sat outdoor on the calm street, in a summer breeze. The food was excellent. The naans was really nice, and we also recommend the fried onions and samosa as starters.

The price is on the high end though – actually a bit above what you pay for similar quality in inner Copenhagen. But when the food is this good, I'm happy to pay extra and I'll definitely come back for lunch.

17/07/2026: Delicious tasty authentic Brazilian food and atmosphere 🤩 Fresh fish served in a relaxed atmosphere by incredibly friendly and smiling staff. Nice that the table was not cleared quickly so we could sit and chat and feel welcome even after we had eaten. We will be back 😁

23/07/2026: We first went there when Curry Leaves had just opened. That was twelve years ago, and we're just as enthusiastic about it today as we were then! Every summer, we plan our sailing trip so that we stop in Sonderborg to eat at Curry Leaves. High quality, truly authentic dishes, superbly spiced, and very friendly service. The hostess is an angel! We recommend choosing the buffet; this is explained so that guests unfamiliar with Indian cuisine can easily find their way around. I sincerely hope this unique restaurant will be around for a long time to come!

23/07/2026: If I could only give 5 stars, I would give 10. Are you in Sønderborg and do you like Indian food? So, really authentic Indian food with lots of flavor, spices and love in the pots, then you should visit Curry Leaves. My husband had tried the place about a month ago with his partner, so when the chance arose, and our family tour took us past Als, among other places, there was no doubt where we should eat. We chose à la carte with both a starter and a main course for all four of us, and no one left disappointed. The starters were too wild and a true explosion of flavor. Before the main courses were served, we even got a small taste test so we could assess whether the strength was just right, or if the dish needed to be adjusted. It is service and thoughtfulness that can be felt. And then the main courses arrived… There was really a lot of food, and we simply couldn't finish it, even though we really wanted to. The kids are still pretty new to Indian cuisine, but they were crazy about their butter chicken. The rest of us had chosen some of the stronger dishes, and there was definitely a lot of spice in them. But the strength in no way overpowered the many spices and flavor nuances. It was strong in exactly the right way and not just strong for the sake of being strong. It is without a doubt the best Indian food I have ever had in Denmark, and that is quite a lot! We didn't try the buffet, but their à la carte and you won't regret it 😉 Welcome 😉

03/07/2026: I’ve been here a few times & enjoyed it & decided therefore to celebrate my birthday with 26 people at Hauser and had a lovely time! Nice owner, good drinks & very cosy bar inside and outside. Since it is a smaller place you can talk nicely & it’s not loud but rather a more intimate atmosphere which I prefer ☺️ can recommend!

19/06/2026: Great spot with delicious wines, nice owner who knows a lot about it. Lovely terrace, nice to sit in the sun in the afternoon. The food selection is limited, but it is a coffee and wine bar after all.

20/06/2026: The food was delicious, which was expected for the price. The "by the glass" wine selection was fairly extensive. The biggest plus was the service. Despite a very busy Friday night, Aisling kept her eyes on her tables, made sure they were served, made good recommendations on pairings, provided clear information on the wine and food brought to the table, and just gave such a warm and open vibe that added to an overall positive dining experience.

04/06/2026: Great place. You can choose from a few menus that really focus on the food, which tastes as good as it looks. The wine menu was a bit of a mixed bag for my taste. But the service helped create a good atmosphere.
