31/08/2025: A quick stop – like last year – to enjoy a cappuccino and a muffin. It's a lovely place, and besides the coffee, there are also lots of lovely home decor items and stuffed animals :-)
14/08/2025: You always feel welcome here. The staff is welcoming and smiling, without it feeling like an imposition – it just makes for a nice experience from start to finish.
The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. You can taste that the ingredients are cared for - you get what you pay for 👌. Will definitely come back!

Definitely worth a visit.
25/06/2025: During our last day in Copenhagen, we went into El Cava for one drink on our way back to the hotel. My wife and I ended up staying 2 hours talking with the bartenders Clara, Sophie, and a new HS graduate Mathildae. They were very inquisitive in the similarities and differences in our cultures. It was the highlight of my stay in Denmark. I was very impressed with the young adults in Denmark. Please support this bar. The beer was outstanding and my wife loved the mixed cocktails Clara prepared.

11/04/2025: Very average place; booked a table but there was barely any physical space between us and other people, it’s extremely tight/packed. The drinks are quite poor in both quality and aesthetics; the dish of the day was very bland mashed potatoes with fennel bathed in oil. The staff is rather standoffish too… Not impressed

But the food, unfortunately, wasn't to our taste. Everything was overcooked, and the fries were very oversalted.
But everyone has different tastes, of course. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

I visited the café today and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The waiters were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic. tasty and beautifully presented. They were also able to offer gluten free dishes, which was a great help, and they tasted really good. The drinks were just as good as the food. All in all a really nice experience that I can highly recommend
