03/09/2026: We were three who thoroughly enjoyed a night out at St Jacques. We all ate from the day's special menu, and were very pleased with our apps and main courses. Only one of us could manage dessert, and he declared it delicious. Of special note were the lapin terrine, and, importantly, the excellent bread and olive oil for the table. The service was exceptionally pleasant. We chose a wine from the more modest end of the list, which is extensive and includes vintages with eye-popping prices.

18/08/2026: There are restaurants you visit to eat, and then there are places you visit to feel the atmosphere. Le Saint Jacques in Østerbro belongs to the latter category. Here it almost feels like stepping into a little piece of Paris in the middle of Copenhagen. The beautiful facade, the green parasols, the elegant café chairs and the intimate atmosphere create a very special romantic setting, where time seems to pass a little slower. Le Saint Jacques has a rare ability to make an ordinary meal feel like a small experience. It is a place where you want to stay a little longer, talk a little more and enjoy the moment. The surroundings are elegant without being pretentious, and the atmosphere feels both lively, warm and authentic. This is the kind of restaurant you go to when you want to pamper yourself or someone you care about. A place for a romantic dinner, a long lunch or just a glass of wine while Copenhagen moves by. Le Saint Jacques is simply a charming and romantic haven in Østerbro. A restaurant with soul, atmosphere and a very special French elegance that makes you start looking forward to your next visit before you even leave.

10/06/2026: Really good pizzas. Have been to Armando's for many years and now came by again. Their special pizzas are especially good, for example with homemade pesto, good smoked ham, and grated parmesan and arugula. Fantastic. Good ingredients make all the difference!!

30/08/2026: An absolutely fantastic experience, top-class food and setting! We had the great pleasure of taking my 93-year-old father on a combined sailing and dinner with M/S Sagafjord. I had tried the trip myself 30 years ago and remembered it as a wonderful evening and the trip today completely lived up to the memories and more! Even before boarding, the fun started at the cozy Roskilde Harbor. When the doors opened, we were greeted by a warm and professional welcome, and a waiter personally accompanied us to our table. We were assigned a fantastic round table for four people right at the bow, which gave us a unique panoramic view of the fjord during the entire trip. My father, who had never sailed with Sagafjord before, was deeply excited from the start. We had ordered a 3-course menu from home (haddock, pork cheeks and apple trifle), and the food was absolutely on par with the beautiful surroundings. It was really tasty and beautifully prepared. One of the highlights of the evening was when my father and I went for a walk on deck and were allowed to visit the captain in the wheelhouse for a nice chat. It is clear to see that the beautiful old ship is looked after and cared for at the shipyard every year, it is in razor-sharp condition. Conclusion: You get fantastic food at prices that match a completely ordinary restaurant, but here you just get an unforgettable total experience and unique nature included in the deal. This is definitely not the last time we visit Sagafjord! The warmest recommendations from here.

28/08/2026: We had a wonderful time on board, nice food, drinks and service. Thr view of the fjord was so peaceful. Dont hesitate tocgo on the deck to enjoy it tocthe most. Everything was perfect!

22/08/2026: Very disappointing experience I was really hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately it was the opposite. The food was so greasy that it was difficult to enjoy it. It didn't seem like much thought had been given to quality or taste. Unfortunately the service made the experience even worse. The waiter was rude, dismissive and made me feel like I was a nuisance. You don't expect perfect service, but basic friendliness should be a given. All in all it was an unpleasant experience that I don't want to repeat. I hope the restaurant takes the criticism seriously, because there is clearly room for improvement. Do not recommend!

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

31/08/2026: We ordered the open-faced sandwich platter twice, each with four items (egg/prawns, Serrano ham, salami, potato), and it was a wonderful meal. Absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly, fast, and perfect. The location is superb. Highly recommended – we'll be back. Great restaurant. The prices are absolutely reasonable for this perfect quality! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

19/08/2026: Amazing Indian food, including a dish I've rarely had outside of India: Marsala Dosa. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you haven't tried it, you absolutely must!

09/08/2026: Our hunt was to eat south Indian delicacies and found this place. Ordered Cauliflower 65 and onion fritters for starters . Idli, Dosa and rainbow rice for mains . Everything was decent but sambar was average bit sour and lacking authentic taste. Could do better . Attached picture is one third of the portion of rainbow rice. Overall nice experience.

06/08/2026: Iman and Chef Juan took good care of us, even with several tricky food allergies. I wish I remembered to take photos because the dishes were all so tasty and beautifully presented!
