24/01/2026: We went there for my birthday dinner and it was really great. We chose the 13 servings with wine pairing. I am vegetarian and my partner doesn't eat fish, which was accounted for in all the servings. Would recommend for celebrations. You can easily hold a conversation and the staff is attentive. They even got the recipe from the chef for one of the dishes because it tasted so nice.

14/01/2026: We went there in a nice sunny Saturday and there was an amazing atmosphere! It was very lively and the most filled restaurant there. The food was very good and the service was nice as well! The portion sizes were large and for me that is a good thing 😊 the drinks were also quite nice. Would definitely visit next time I’m in Esbjerg.

08/10/2025: Among other things, I bought a framed picture, both wrapped in a foil bag with a price tag on it that said 40 kr. A few days later I discovered that 140 kr had been deducted for the picture. The store explains that there should be 2 price tags, one with 40 kr for the picture and one with 100 kr for the frame, and apologizes that one must have fallen off. When I pointed out that they should have stated this at the checkout, rather than just entering a different price than the one on the item, I was told that I could come and return both items if I wanted my money back. But I don't think it's fair that I should be fined for a mistake on the part of the store. Furthermore, I live in Roskilde, 119 km and a Great Belt bridge away, and therefore will have an expense associated with it. Of course, I have written to them about this in the correspondence we have had, but they have chosen not to respond.

30/11/2025: Sunday morning, it was packed, but we still managed to enjoy a fantastic breakfast outside in November. Delicious coffee, an incredibly good sourdough roll, and amazing scrambled eggs. Not super fancy, not extravagant, but simply superb quality. Cool, cozy atmosphere, patio heaters, blankets, good vibes, and friendly service.

06/03/2026: The soup is disappointing. So is the avocado sandwich (the one without the egg). Waiters didn’t seem friendly, and when they made a mistake with latte / matcha, did not cover the difference to apologize. It is beautiful though, just wish the other elements held up too.

22/02/2026: This is an amazing coffee shop. It looks small and plain from the street but it’s bigger on the inside, with a vibrant atmosphere of 100s of students on laptops chilling out while working on their papers. Atrium and sofa sections… Their baked goods are good, but don’t expect full lunch menu. The barista will eventually get your order but worth the wait.

22/08/2025: Nice place. Was only there for a short visit, but Friendly and very chatty waiter. The food came lightning fast, a delicious burger and some huge fries. With a special (maybe homemade) ketchup that was really good and a little thick in it. Not something thin like Heinz and Beauvais can be. Absolutely sure I will come there and eat next time work calls on Samsø.

18/11/2025: Hi. Booked a table over the phone and could quickly hear that it was a "hostess" with things under control. She spoke fluent Danish and Thai! The food was steaming hot, freshly made and full of great flavors. Incredibly competent and fresh service. When paying I said that it was the first time, but definitely not the last time I would eat here! 10 out of 5 stars and it was a very small bill! B. S.

I am a culinary epicurean and this place meets all my expectations. To tell you that I recommend it, with my eyes closed, is not enough. It is a treat and a moment of pleasure that does you good and I invite you to discover it.

02/10/2025: I think tour burger is the best burger I've ever tasted. For example, I was there when credit cards didn't work in most of Europe this summer and they took it easy and got through it without any unhappy customers.

25/11/2025: A really good experience, great service, the food is well prepared and beautifully presented. The wine that was recommended was right in the cupboard (Rose - because we had both a fish starter and a main course with pork cheeks).

04/09/2025: I don't know anything about Brazilian food, but I love to try new flavours, especially when you get the sense that the dishes are made with experience and care and not just for instagram. With that background I thoroughly enjoyed our visit where we as first timers naturally tried the sample mix. Looking forward to coming back and trying the meat mix 🙂 only thing I might have wished for would be a slightly larger menu.

30/08/2025: I had my eye on the place for many years, but always put off eating at O ​​Tempo. Now it finally happened the other day and we were over the moon about the place. It was a summer evening with a little rain but there is a cozy covered garden/garden path with tables/chairs, which was a great place to sit and drink your caipininha and wait for your food, while the rain drummed on the plastic roof 😍 The service was friendly and attentive in a class of its own and the food was exciting and delicious. The waiter was very thorough in giving the level of instruction you needed to eat the right things together and get the most authentic experience of Brazilian cuisine. A small warning should be sounded about the food: The prices are very reasonable and we tried to try as many different things as possible. Therefore, we used the option on the menu where you can order half portions (for just over half the price), but when we (2 people) had eaten our way through a good third of the four half dishes, we were stuffed and I both overate myself and took a doggy bag home and almost stocked up once more the morning after… -So summa-summarum O Tempo is a lovely and very rare place that I will definitely visit again, but next time I will order a little less dishes. In conclusion, I would like to say that when I give 4 stars for the food, it should only be seen as a rating in relation to restaurants in general, regardless of price. If I had rated the food in relation to the price, it would have been a clear 5-star and the overall rating is also a resounding five from here 🙌
