01/08/2025: The restaurant is centrally located and tastefully decorated. The use of mirrors demonstrates good space management, and the counter filled with glass jars of ingredients adds a touch of liveliness and simplicity. The welcome is a strong point; the waiters are extremely kind and thoroughly explain each dish. We tried the sunflower seed hummus served with rye chips, the Smørrebrød with salmon and shrimp, and finally the rib-eye steak with grilled vegetables. All dishes are beautifully presented and have a unique, balanced flavor. If I had to find a flaw, it would be the green beans that were a little burnt, but the dish wasn't ruined. A truly classy place, and I'd gladly return.

30/07/2025: The shrimp open sandwich is heavenly good! Even the shadow is artistic! I wanna go back and try it again It’s weird though, that although there are empty seats, walk in guests were told that it was fully booked. Until I finished my meal, the seats were still empty. Maybe they thought everyone wanted a 2-3 hour proper dinner so there wasn’t enough time for that.

01/07/2025: The burgers were juicy and tasty, while the chicken and bacon pizza was rather burnt and dry. The service spoke Danish and English, which was very nice. Overall, I liked it, but the food was probably a bit hit and miss.

10/07/2025: This place was a gem of a find! Lovely setting right by the water with a view of the castle if you were lucky enough to get a table outside. But even the inside dining had an excellent vibe. We were treated to the most indulgent tapas with a Danish twist by Txema, who was managing a busy service all on his own.

06/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience at Bagel Store! We visited Bagel Store and ordered their chicken sandwich – and it definitely did not disappoint! Fresh, tasty and perfectly put together. What really made the experience memorable was the service. We were served by Yakup, and from the moment we walked in the door, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was attentive, smiling and super professional the whole way – until we left. A big thank you to Yakup and the team for the amazing service and delicious food. We will definitely be back!

04/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best bagel experience in Copenhagen! I just had the pleasure of eating at the best bagel shop in Copenhagen, and I can honestly say that both the food and the service were absolutely top-notch! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a warm atmosphere. The staff was not only friendly, but really engaged – they took the time to explain the menu, make recommendations and ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. The bagel? Absolutely fantastic. Crispy on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside – and the filling was perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. I chose the cheddar cheese bagel with salmon, and it was without a doubt the best bagel I have ever had. Everything tasted homemade and lovingly prepared. The atmosphere in the shop was cozy, relaxed and at the same time very professional. You could tell that they care about both their food and their guests. I will definitely be back – and next time I will bring friends! Highly recommended for all bagel lovers (and those who don't know they are yet!).

05/07/2025: A slightly mixed experience at Guldkroen I've visited Guldkroen for lunch a few times, and the location is definitely appealing. The inn is centrally located and has a lovely terrace with a view of the Little Belt, which is a big plus, especially on a sunny day. Remember to book a table in advance, because it's usually completely full for lunch. This time was no exception — there were many guests, and the atmosphere was lively. The service was actually quite good, considering how busy it was. The three waiters ran fast, but maintained a polite level and managed who was waiting for what. Unfortunately, it was especially the waiting time and the food itself that let the experience down. It took almost an hour before our food arrived on the table, and it felt like the kitchen was under tremendous pressure. I had chosen a fish platter for 190 kr., which sounded promising on the menu, but disappointed in reality. The herring was nice, but the rest felt a bit small and uninspired: a halved fish fillet that just covered the bread, and a piece of smoked eel that barely did. The taste was okay, but the dish seemed tacky and definitely not worth the money. All in all, I'm left with a slightly lukewarm feeling. Guldkroen certainly has potential with its location and cozy inn atmosphere, but the cuisine and price level don't match the quality of the plate — and the wait doesn't make it any better. My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ – 3 out of 5. Nice place to sit, nice service, but a long wait and a disappointing fish platter drag down the overall impression.

12/07/2025: Pretty average burger place. I had the fries and regular burger. The wait time was kind of long, around 15-20 minutes. For the prices and wait time, I would skip this place, there are definitely other places to get burgers around the city

11/06/2025: We had a good lunch. There is a cozy atmosphere here, and good service. The place serves traditional open sandwiches, and the decor is also like the old traditional lunch restaurants. Of course, you can also have dinner here. Highly recommended

02/08/2025: This is our go-to place for smørrebrød. The best in the city. Awesome location, great food and the personal service always impresses us. Place has a great wine list so for dinner this is also a great spot. Be aware that being AWESOME reservation is needed. Many customer and many regulars. Can’t wait to be back

30/07/2025: Stopped by for lunch and were almost blown away when we first had to navigate the varied lunch menu with both open sandwiches, warm and hot dishes - and then continue the difficult selection process in the many "board dishes". Also a fine selection of drinks. Incidentally, a real pleasure with the knowledgeable and smiling staff.

15/07/2025: Very friendly and flexible with the choice of ingredients. I ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the ambiance.
