02/12/2025: Sorry I didn't check the inn's reviews before booking a Christmas party for 42 ladies on the inn's first floor. The room was nicely decorated, but the acoustics were really lousy. Stained tablecloths were covered with paper on top. The buffet was difficult to get to for more than one person at a time. The buffet was quickly emptied, as food and bread were served in service suitable for a party of max. 10 people. We therefore had to constantly ask for it to be quickly refilled. As soon as we had started eating, a waiter was sent around to collect money for each person's drink. It was super disturbing. We had paid for the food upon arrival on a combined bill. The food was mediocre and certainly not delicately served. 42 cold fish fillets were placed on top of each other on a plate with space for 10-15, nicely arranged. The marinated herring was of the cheapest kind, the chicken salad, which tasted ok. But it looked like remoulade, which resulted in more people putting the chicken salad on the fish fillet. The cookies for the coffee were the absolute cheapest from the supermarket. I will NEVER go there again. It's not fun to host 42 guests and then experience such poor execution.

21/11/2025: Amazing place! Small and cozy, two delicious puff pastry BMOs, one cinnamon and one cardamom. The cappuccino and filter coffee were truly excellent. All for 120 kuna. We'll definitely be back!

21/11/2025: A fantastic port wine evening. The food and chef Martin in particular should be highlighted! You have to look for such good and tasty food for a long time. Truly exquisite and tasty food that far exceeds what you can expect in this price range. The meat was so tender that we agreed that we have never had anything better, and the other dishes were also of high, high quality. The service was a bit slow with unclaimed service, lack of answers to questions, etc., but this was clearly offset by the exquisite food.

14/02/2026: We visited Klausens Fiskerestaurant and had both moules frites and seafood boil – and it was a really good experience. The food was super delicious and tasty, and the seafood boil in particular deserves praise. It was brand new on the menu, but can definitely be recommended if you like seafood. It is a dish that takes a little time to eat, and it is for good reason that a pair of gloves are included. The service was also top notch. The host was chatty, friendly and very accommodating. There were not many guests, but it was also out of season. All in all, a really good visit to Klausens Fiskerestaurant in Hune, which can be recommended.

26/02/2026: The stay was an unpleasant experience. Upon arrival there was no service - and upon departure the key was lost. Was told it would cost about 5000 kr to get a new key!!! And that there was no replacement key. A locksmith had to be ordered the same day - so new guests could rent the room. Four hours of extra cleaning - without a photo to explain why. The room looked ok when we left it. Even though it is a spot deal - don't book a stay. The helpfulness in finding the key was extremely limited - and what was more, it felt like a "punishment" - having to pay for extra cleaning. The main course on the first day was fish - which tasted downright bad - whereas the gourmet food on the second day was good.

26/10/2025: Without any reservation in Aarhud on a weekend it is nearly impossible to get a table. The owner was very nice and we got one for one hour. The Pizza was delicious and the service very friendly! Go there. But make a reservation first 😃

18/10/2025: Really disappointing fish ‘n’ chips. Especially in a fishing village like Vorupør, you expect to get fresh fish. But our food consisted almost entirely of breading. It actually seemed like frozen food - Pfft!

14/10/2025: A nice self-service restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers on tap. The prices are very reasonable by Danish standards. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the beach. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is always busy. There's an ice cream stand outside next to the entrance, where you can buy soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings.

29/09/2025: The Sundhalle is popular with local Danes, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds for larger groups. The atmosphere is great.
