15/02/2026: Budget hotel for business or traveling people. It is far from the center, but with convenient transportation to get there. The rooms are clean and warm, with minimal furnishings. Worn and cold corridors. The food in the restaurant is very good! Responsive staff.

31/03/2026: Very cool little resturant with a lot of atmosphere, funky things on the walls, a big cabinet at one end with stuffed animals, think biology room at school. And good classics in "smørrebrød" and warm danish meals.

22/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on a quiet afternoon when it was completely empty. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the interior is absolutely beautiful — definitely one of the highlights. The food was decent overall. The pasta was quite disappointing, lacking any real flavor or character, but the burger and Caesar salad were both good and nicely presented. The service, however, felt a bit intrusive. Our waitress was overly eager and even brought us the bill without us asking, which came across as a bit too much. In summary, it’s a lovely place to sit and enjoy the setting, with decent food, but the experience could be improved with a bit more subtlety in the service.

13/10/2025: Now 3⭐️ for food would seem a little harsh. However, you price too high and my expectations need to follow. In real terms we had chicken & chips and surf & turf for over 1500 krone for four adults. When two were only drinking water. Now, the quantity was generous, the ingredients were very good quality, the cooking and flavours were great ... but why the 3⭐️? If you slow cook pork belly for over 12 hours and then make a 'gravy' to pour over halibut, you guessed it ... you just taste roast pork, which was delicious, but why throw in the texture of halibut. Very heavy on the salt too. Put the salt on the table, otherwise you can not truely taste the journey the food has had to endure. We also had chicken & chips .... very well cooked chicken, but there must have been a whole chicken skin fried on the plate too. The potato was fine shredded and deep fried until chocolate brown. Again very tasty, but why put crispy potato shreads into a pancake then cover with soggy chicken skin and gravy, you've got it, limp potato stodge. Again very tasty, but a texture you want teleporting somewhere else. The wine list was amazing, with champagne at 9800 krone a shot, that' some heavy weight diner they are expecting. When cold and raining, this is a nice place to have a quiet relaxed family meal. Our son has SEN and he had a fabulous night. We did not order dessert as ice cream and chocolate brownie would have probably turned up. Lot's of city folk eating here .... now I know how my pension pot skimmings are being spent. Don't over complicate and mix up the flavours, then you will be sure to be a 5⭐️ experience. Price was good value for the ingredients cooked and service given. The experience was not as good as Garden Vin which was the best evening meal we had in Copenhagen.

02/01/2026: Staff are great, too crowded and workload should be insane for them. Instead of being greedy to make more money, owner should consider to expand or find alternative solution to tackle the workload and for better service. The recipe for chicken burger seems okay but it is diffucult to get best experience with current work-load of the staff.

01/01/2026: the chicken is too spicy and salty to enjoy any taste – burnt my upper mouth, also seems like fries were rolled in salt, impossible to eat

13/09/2025: I visited ILUKA about a year ago, and it’s still one of the meals I think of whenever I think back to Copenhagen. Everything was so flavorful I could hardly sit still while eating, and even the simple oysters were outstanding. I’d love to come back again!

08/01/2026: The star of French gastronomy in Frederiksberg! A sublime restaurant that serves French classics without tremor and with self-confidence with its own interpretations that only add an even higher level of estorian elements! The wine is also affordably priced - with a really high level - guided by their knowledgeable sommelier. Sans Souci is a detour and worth the trip -

17/12/2025: Had breakfast here and was fairly underwhelmed. Lobster roll was shrimp salad? Croissant with too sour avocado and a cold smiling egg. The consistency of boiled egg with avocado did not work, a warm poached egg would have been a better solution in several respects. Or at least a warm boiled egg. Fried eggs with chanterelles, spinach, and walnuts were delicious, but lacked bread. Coffee with oat drink tasted of Oatly, which unfortunately has a not so nice acidity. It was cold in the room too. But service was on point!

26/03/2026: Nice restaurant and we got pizza and it was super good for a good price. I would say though that a glass of wine at a restaurant in Ballerup should not cost 90 kr.

01/01/2026: What a bad tank product they offer. First, 1000 kroner is reserved in the account. Then they ask if there should be a discount next time. Ok. Then the mobile phone must be entered. This is then not accepted. The transaction is rejected. Start over. Fine. But then 1000 kroner must be reserved in the account again. Well, if you don't have 1000 kroner left, you can't refuel because it takes a day or two to get the reserved money back.

08/11/2025: The world's simplest pita falafel. They've been making it here in exactly the same way for more than 30 years. And it's great. Is it great art? No. But it tastes like the old days.
