The place not only delivers delicious food, but also an entire experience that takes you directly to the heart of Mexico. 14/11/2025: A very informal place, not suitable for those looking for a "classic" restaurant. It's self-service, so upon entering you have to choose from a large selection of cold salads, all very appealing, then choose your main course and finally a single dessert. Drinks are also self-service, with three refrigerators stocked with a wide selection of water and other beverages. We had chickpeas with peppers and carrots, plus a very good curly salad. For our main course, rice and falafel, chicken with potatoes, and a chocolate cake. With trays in hand, we moved on to the adjacent rooms, which were decorated with great imagination, making use of and recycling everything. On the tables, there were plastic tablecloths, paper towels as napkins, and jugs of tap water. After eating, you have to clear the table of dishes and take them to a room where you have to share everything. In conclusion, the food was good and plentiful; we spent 280kr for two, which is a bit low for Copenhagen. Perhaps we weren't prepared for such an alternative place, but many others will probably appreciate it.

30/12/2025: Absolutely stunning hidden gem! Food is exceptionally presented, decent portions and delicious. Reasonably priced and attentive service from a team with real pride in there restaurant. Wonderful place but a booking is absolutely essential! I had crayfish to start and the beef both of which were stunning - my wife had asparagus and shrimp followed by the pork as was equally impressed and happy!!

14/06/2026: I have been to brunch here a few times since last year, and the food is very tasty! It is served family-style, which gives it a more cosy vibe. My only concern is that it seems to be quite expensive now for brunch, so not sure if I will return which is a shame. I suppose it is a buffet so one could try to get their money’s worth. Deffo recommend to try once though!

28/05/2026: Good food. Bad service. We had reserved a table. Upon arrival there was no table for us and we were placed by the window. Just for information; You don't have to be a facialist when working in the restaurant industry.

15/12/2025: I looked inside and saw all these old people with very nice smiles on their faces and in very beautiful clothes. I directly entered because I know that they are experienced enough to choose the best food. :) It was a very correct choise, I loved the food. They also serve very fastly. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, nice people. I highly recommend Restaurant 1733. Go and try!

10/12/2025: We were 3 friends who have been having Christmas lunch together for almost 30 years...This year once at 1733..We had the big meal...very different than the other places but we had a good time for about 4 hours..super service and the desired table by the window...we are looking forward to the next time..John Salon Ydun

30/04/2026: We visited this Mexican place in Copenhagen for lunch and absolutely loved it. We tried the mango tacos with pulled jackfruit, and the combination of mango and pineapple was incredible—such a unique mix of flavors and unlike any tacos we’d had before. It was our first time trying something like this, and we were genuinely impressed. We also had the Mission District bowl, which was equally flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a fantastic experience with creative, delicious food that’s definitely worth a visit.

04/07/2026: We were here yesterday just before closing time and got some takeaway. The restaurant is small with limited seating, but it's charmingly decorated. There are also a few seats outside. The food arrived fresh, quickly, piping hot, and well-packaged in a bag. For €16 per person, we had a very tasty meal with an appetizer (spring rolls). The food was well-seasoned, and the portion size was just right! Highly recommended! One more note: The "gluten-free" label is *no longer* on the menu, contrary to the previously uploaded pictures. Since I only have a gluten intolerance, I took the plunge and tolerated it very well. Of course, this isn't a guarantee. I wanted to add this for those with celiac disease, in case they are specifically looking for this option.

14/10/2025: One of the most reliably delicious bakeries in Copenhagen! Their kanelsnurre is my all time favourite, ESPECIALLY when it is fresh from the oven- the sugar caramelises in way that is addictive and perfectly balanced with the dough. I would also recommend their foccacia and madbrød which I’ve had in the past. The staff are always really nice and helpful too. My favourite way to enjoy is by taking a nice long walk through Assistens after you purchase :)

29/06/2026: Update 3: Still my favorite cafe in Copenhagen. The staff is still kind and friendly. The food was generous and beautifully displayed. Perfect location just next to the expensive department store. Update 2: 3rd time being here. The food representation is still very aesthetic. But I could use a little bit more salt on avocado. Update: Second time I came here within a week to try different food. It was so tasty and beautifully displayed. The photo of brownie does not justify the tastiness of it 🥹😭❤️ I was so sad to finish the food. This is my favorite place to eat in Copenhagen. Friendly staff, very tasty food! Each bite was flavorful and enjoyment! I will want to come back and try something else!
