De bedste restauranter i Hovedstaden

31/08/2025: Long wait for food, when it finally came it was cold and without much taste. We ordered a 7 course serving, but it was a bad experience, Stracciatella which was served with chili we got 4 pieces, where it looked like they had dropped the chili pot on two of them, we had to ask for bread before it came despite finding out that it was included in the 7 courses. When the pasta finally came it was cold and very boring. The waiters were busy and therefore very little available, our waiter was really nice when she was there and compensated us for the long wait with an extra bottle of wine and coffee, which was a nice gesture of her, but still does not make up for the fact that we are a large group that probably will not come there again.

30/08/2025: Went to a company event where we had ordered a menu and drinks at the same time as booking. Waited 1 hour for the starter and then waited 1-1/2 for the main course which was pasta carbonara. 2 plates to share with 12 people. Dry and boring pasta so we could only just see the shadow of some cream sauce and a small handful of bacon sprinkled on top. The tin of parmesan cheese that was sprinkled on top unfortunately didn't make the dish any better. We asked if there was more coming and they would probably find out. 1 hour later still no food. The restaurant had run out of pasta. We had to order pizzas ourselves. 30-40 minutes later the children's pizza appears which is not baked through and without filling. A super boring experience which is topped with something that looks like a splattered Kaj cake. It was obviously their version of a tiramisu. It didn't taste anywhere near tiramisu. I talk to a waiter who says that you should come on a regular weekday because the food is much better there. You can be absolutely sure that I will never come back because I have never had such poor food before...

14/10/2025: It seems to be a lively community center, with people of all ages and backgrounds all over the house. The café is reasonable, although the selection is somewhat limited. When asked how the economy was, the answer was I'm only the cook here, so I don't know. It's nice that you don't want to answer, but honestly, a cook who doesn't know how the economy is... Nice house that seems to be functioning. There are even theater performances in the winter

14/09/2025: A very lively and fun place, especially if you have very young kids.

30/11/2025: Lovely place with good cakes and other sweet or savoury treats. I have been there a lot over the years and always enjoy the cosy place. The people who work there are very nice and do a great job. Big praise to Grannys House. Regards Louise Bjerggaard.

23/10/2025: We held a major event at Grannys in Søborg and it was a really disappointing experience. I rarely take the time to write reviews but this was really not up to par and therefore deserves a bad review. Throughout, there has been poor communication and a bad tone towards us customers. There were dirty plates, dirty cutlery containers, beer was served for the event when the date had passed. When we arrived and were supposed to decorate, it had not been prepared as agreed and there were dirty tablecloths on the tables. Our contact person for the event suddenly left for the day without saying goodbye and we generally had to take the initiative ourselves and ask when, for example, coffee could be served, etc. There was no good alignment of expectations before the event and proper fixed agreements from Granny's side and therefore there were so many misunderstandings that we got very tired of in the end. When we confronted the staff with the shortcomings of the day there was no understanding and we were not met with any regret or humility towards the things that were not right. I could give more examples but just don't hold your event here. It's not worth it.

17/09/2025: Visited on a Wednesday evening, not many people so very quiet surroundings. The food was okay - not that great tasting experience,.

28/08/2025: We spontaneously decided to have a birthday dinner. The service, especially Oliver, made our evening a particularly nice memory. Thank you very much.

27/09/2025: Worst tacos i ever had... boiled musrmoos with worst pico de gallo ever, boiled chicken with hospital tomato sauce and no garnish, and the pork one deserve a 4/5 a little tasty... and the tortilla was really bad too...Hope you can put more effort for the people and for the context you are in.

08/09/2025: Nice Mexican food ! I had one taco each of the carnitas, taco de pollo and chorizo. Very flavorfull. Great service chatting with staff. Renzo, Carlos, and Ricardo were very friendly.

04/11/2025: Perfect. They also make gluten-free burgers, the best I've had since I can no longer eat gluten.

20/10/2025: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. Unfortunately you don't get what you pay for (300 kr per person for ad libitum) in either sushi (rice in sushi was overcooked) or atmosphere.

19/10/2025: WATAMI VANLØSE Extremely bad experience and the worst service I have experienced in a long time. Not a restaurant I will ever go back to, even though it has been a favorite in the past. The bad service started on the phone when I called and asked for a table for six or seven people and was told that it was fine and that we could get a table that could seat seven people. Then I called to say that we would be a little late and was told that there was only one table available for six people and that that was what I had reserved. I then explained to them that I had called earlier and was told something different, after which I got a response “that’s all we have anyway” with a very flippant tone. When we arrived at the restaurant, we explained to them that we had a guest who was not going to eat with us because she doesn’t like sushi at all and had just had her teeth extracted. We are then told (by the same person) that they cannot agree to that and that we will all have to order a la carte, just because one of us is not eating. We had come to eat ad libitum and there are guests all the way from Sweden, so we cannot leave a guest alone, I tried to explain. I also suggest that she can sit on a chair a little separated, but this is also rejected with a very nasty attitude. The employee was far from accommodating and understanding of our situation, and did not try to find a solution at all, which resulted in a very bad experience for our guests, who had been looking forward to eating at the restaurant.

09/12/2025: Ordered pad thai and it was very salty! Do not recommend.

01/11/2025: Ordered three dishes, all generous portions and so flavorful. Had waterfall beef and all the flavors are there. Absolutely delicious! My only feedback to the chef would be to cut the meat even thinner for this dish. Then the meat really can soak up the sauce. Thanks guys, definitely will come by again! 🤜🤛

08/12/2025: Great service, good food! Thank you for the wonderful, relaxing time. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

13/11/2025: Brunch on a Sunday a little after 10 am. The service was a bit sluggish at first, but I guess they had just opened, it quickly improved. Delicious brunch platter, good coffee and really good juice. I don't know where they found the melons, but they were fantastic. Everything we ate and drank was completely satisfactory and at a reasonable price. Be aware that all food at the brunch plant is served in tall glasses. It's nice, fun and possibly also easier, but if you, like me and about 700,000 other Danes, suffer from arthritis, it's hard to eat from without pain. However, I'm pretty sure you can get a plate if you ask for it🙂 Unfortunately, I let my vanity get the better of me and had a few tough days as a result.

27/07/2025: Brown and nice on the corner of the black square. Good prices, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Smokers are welcome. Outdoor seating where you can watch the people go by, and if you ask nicely you will get an ashtray from the staff. Clean and nice ladies' toilets with ashtrays, at least that's what my girlfriend says.

15/09/2025: Great food and coffee, but beware that this retailer charges a 4.25% surcharge when using non-EU credit cards, which they don't advertise upfront and don't tell customers about.

22/02/2025: I probably had the best Crispy Chicken Burger ever in here! Super delicious, fresh, flavorful and crispy!☺️ they also showed the football I wanted to see, and the atmosphere was just great, and the same can be said about the service!☺️ I've also been here for brunch, and it was also really delicious! JOHN'S is definitely recommended!😊

14/02/2025: Hidden gem. Excellent brunch. Now I could never think of taking pictures of food, but if I had to, it would be their brunch. It's not cheap, but good quality and nice surroundings, even if you sit a little close.

30/07/2025: The pasta was most certainly the greatest I have ever had. Many food and drink options to choose from, making it easy to find something you enjoy. Would definitely recommend, so good we came back a second time the very next day!

29/07/2025: Definitely recommend!! So delicious we came back a second time during our Copenhagen visit. The owner even remembered our food interests from the day before and customized our dishes!

21/10/2025: It has fallen far below standard. Had schnitzel which was sexless and Cesar salad with chicken which was full and fat and skin and which definitely did not taste like confit. The coffee was good though. The service was young and therefore not trained to handle bad food situations. Will not come again.

02/10/2025: The best lunch with freshly fried plaice and ice cold Carlsberg. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.
