28/12/2025: Used to be good. Now it’s mediocre at best.

19/12/2025: Had the best experience! Super welcoming and helpful staff: I ordered rye bread with homemade chicken salad. There is no picture, because I had just landed by train from Stockholm and was extremely hungry. But believe me when I say that it is one of the best chicken salad places in the country - maybe even better than Vesterlauget's (Vestergade in Aarhus). Especially good if you are a big fan of bacon.

15/09/2025: I went out to eat with my mom I got fish n chips my mom got a salmon sandwich neither of us were impressed the fish was dry the tartar sauce tasted like a cheap mayo from the net the fries were really good so that's why I give it 5 out of 10 because I'm sweet my mom gave her food 2 out of 10 I think it's more of a place where you get a cup of coffee and maybe a piece of cake

13/07/2025: Absolut den mest triste buffet man kan forestille sig, tørt og kedeligt. En salatbar der var så lunken og trist, Tzatziki så smagsløs at den kunne kaldes yoghurt neutral. Kokken anede simpelthen ikke hvad han lavede. Selv sodavand på tappehane kunne de ødelægge, forholdet mellem vand, ekstrakt og kulsyre blev til lemonade uden brus. Vi havde ikke været der før, og vi kommer der ikke igen.

28/03/2026: Used to be a nice, Copenhagen place. Been there 100+ times. Today we got kicked out to make place because the lead singer of Alphabeat wanted a place to sit. Officially became a novelty place. Avoid.

17/01/2026: The only psychopathic thing about this place is how many people are crammed together. Super cringe atmosphere with way too many middle-aged people who can't control their alcohol intake.

21/08/2025: The food was delicious, however, when ordering the tasting menu the portion sizes are small and the delivery of the meals are like molasses in the winter time, slow. There was a 234 Dkk credit card fee as well

26/01/2026: Went here yesterday with the family, and we had a nice pizza night without any big surprises – but in a good way. We ordered a classic Margherita, a Quattro Formaggi and one with pepperoni and mushrooms. The dough was thin and crispy (real Italian style, not the thick Danish variety), the edges had nice blistering, and the sauce was fresh with a good tomato flavor. The cheeses melted perfectly, and the filling was generous without being too heavy. The pepperoni version was our favorite – spicy, but not too overwhelming. They also have some interesting specials on the menu (we saw one with truffle and burrata, which we'll save for next time). The salad was fresh, and the tiramisu for dessert was okay – creamy and with a good coffee flavor. The service was friendly and quick, even though it was quite busy during the evening rush. The place is simple and cozy: wooden tables, some brick walls and the classic pizza oven in the background – nothing fancy, but comfortable to sit in. The prices are quite fair for Denmark (approx. 110–150 kr for a pizza + drink), and you don't feel cheated. It's not Michelin level, but it's honest, tasty pizza made with care. A good place for an informal pizza night with friends or family – we'll definitely come back when the craving strikes. 🍕👍

21/12/2025: Authentic US diner that served a really good burger with crispy fries and mayo. The vanilla milkshake was top notch.

30/03/2026: 1 star – really bad experience We visited Sydhavnens grill tonight, and unfortunately it was a really bad experience. When we arrived, there were three young employees working. It seemed a bit disorganized, and some guests had already been waiting for a long time, but the atmosphere was actually nice. We ordered two burgers, a large french fries and half a grilled chicken with fries, dip and cucumber salad. The fries and burgers came quickly, but then it all stopped. In the middle of it all, the manager comes in, and the atmosphere changes completely. She is clearly angry and we can hear her scolding the young employees for the mess, lack of cleaning and that they “have been slurping sauce all day”. This takes place openly in the restaurant, while she is also taking orders. It becomes so uncomfortable that no one says anything. We were several guests sitting and looking at each other. My grilled chicken still hadn’t arrived, but I honestly didn’t dare say anything because the atmosphere was so bad. Only when the others had almost finished eating did I ask for it. The young employee then took a dry and lukewarm chicken from the oven and put it on the table – without any accompaniments. The fries were then poured from a portion that I had just heard the manager say had been sitting out for far too long. It was missing salt, remoulade and cucumber salad, which I also had to ask for and when it came, it was a small blob. At that point I couldn’t take it anymore and didn’t say anything more. On the way out we experienced another episode: A mother with two boys came in about 35 minutes before closing time and said that they would like to eat there. She was met with the same sour tone, with the manager sharply pointing out that they should be made aware of the closing time, and at the same time saying that she couldn’t say when the food would be ready because the grill was full. It was clear that they didn’t feel welcome. We don’t know the history, and it may well be that the young people had had a bad day. If you are unhappy with your employees, you have to take the consequences and find others. But as a manager, you don't scold your employees in front of customers and create such a bad atmosphere that guests don't dare say anything. The food was below average, but the worst part was the experience.
