12/08/2025: It's a cozy little café in old Lyngby. Limited outdoor seating. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and occasional author/book events. Closes early (6pm) if there are no events.

11/07/2025: We just needed 3 more cakes this afternoon (it's 11:00 now), no cakes, the saleswoman didn't know anything and the 2 people behind the counter were busy making breakfast sandwiches for guests outside. Nice enough, but is it a bakery or a cafe?. Long wait. We got a strawberry pie and it's probably nice enough. I'd happily pay for the expensive potato cakes if you can get them. Now we've eaten the strawberry cake, pretty indifferent - as my husband said the last time we drove to Værløse for cakes.

08/07/2025: A great place for bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and much more. Large selection and nice seating both inside and outside.

21/11/2025: Basement is truly a legendary bar in Copenhagen with an extremely rich history and if the walls could talk they would tell the wildest stories but they can't so you can only see a little of the history written on the wall. It is a bar where you can come to sit and drink a few beers and play dice or if you have come to dance or dance to come, Basement is the place.

01/02/2026: Delicious pizza, nice and polite service. I was the only guest, so the atmosphere was pretty quiet. On the other hand, there was a lot of out-of-house delivery.

27/09/2025: We had a lovely diner there. The staff was overwhelmingly nice and the food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant decoration is very quaint which adds to the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

25/03/2026: The reception staff were grumpy and impolite. We rented three rooms and reported that they were cold three days in a row, but nothing was done. On the last evening, they sent a small heater because we argued. They locked the room because they saw a cigarette pack on the table and charged us 3,500 minutes to unlock it. We do not recommend this place.

30/08/2025: Must visit in Copenhagen 🫰 Very close and warm place. Beautiful and very classy atmosphere. If you admire elegant and professional cocktails this is the place. Also, did I mention that this is the best champagne bar in Copenhagen. Overall, I'd say must visit for that classy evening.

21/03/2026: Saturday night is not a good choice... there were so many people and really bad acoustics. You can't hear what others at the table are saying. Food ok

16/03/2026: One of the better Chinese buffets. Large selection of Mongolian bbq, sushi and hot dishes. There is a lot of noise, but bearable.
