26/10/2025: I ordered a Döner Kebab and after 20 minutes of waiting they brought me totally tasteless durum and 90% filthy fried salad

24/09/2025: I have never experienced such poor service in my life. I came in with some friends when it was obviously much busier than the man behind the counter could handle. We stood in line for a long time to order, and when we were finally allowed in, we waited for over an hour for our food - while everyone else was served and got their food before us. In the end, we had to argue for half an hour and even show our bank account transactions as proof that we had actually ordered. Even though we were shouted at, called liars and even scolded for smiling, we had to maintain a polite tone to even get our food delivered, which we paid for an hour earlier. All in all, a really bad experience. The food was not exactly anything to shout about either. Find somewhere else if you are hungry. :)

29/11/2025: Throughout life, you will always hear about miracles. Whether it be the Bible or an incredible survival story. Throughout my childhood, I have always taken them as exaggerations of the true story… but now I know the truth. Yousef’s restaurant opened my eyes and made me realize that human kindness will truly always prevail in hopeless situations. After a disappointment from a certain pizza place that completely messed up our order, we thought that a stomach-churning hunger was how our evening would end. But just when all hope was lost, we saw that Yousef was still open for another 30 minutes, in a moment of mental weakness and vulnerability we decided to take a chance and order. After a short 15 minutes, the delivery man arrived, like an angel who gives salvation on the day of judgment, and delivered our food. The food tasted divine, as if it had been blessed by our fathers themselves. Whether it was the result of a manic episode brought on by hunger or it was actually divine is up for debate. Thank you Yousef, you made our evening and changed my perspective on the world. May wonderful financial miracles befall you.

19/01/2026: Købmandsgården's Pizza House has been acquired & is now called: Del Rossa Pizza. Yesterday we bought a salad pizza with kebab, a calzone & a homemade burger menu. The pizza was dry, the salad, limp leaves. No cucumber or tomato. I ordered extra filling in the form of kebab. I didn't want to see it as normal, then it would have ended up as a vegetarian pizza. The calzone was flat & the contents were also in short supply. The burger was a boring dry bun, a steak & otherwise just a lack of love. The young men who now own the place need to step up if they are to reach the level of the old man who owned the place before them. We will find another place to get food in the future.

29/09/2025: They'd previously said their cakes were made daily. I recently bought one and paid 350 crowns (just for the cake). It was the most stale cake I've ever eaten. The fruit inside had started to lose its flavor. We bought it for a friend's birthday. After 3-4 spoonfuls, I apologized to her family and told them I couldn't finish it. Most everyone at the table didn't finish it anyway. It just didn't work. It didn't suit us. We also got a rice pudding, but it was so sticky it looked like sweet milk had been spilled on rice pilaf. Never again.

27/08/2025: The worst pizza ever. The base was wet and soggy, the filling was tasteless. It was worse than a store bought pizza. The owner was in a good mood, but that doesn't make up for the pizza. .

16/08/2025: Italian place run by Italians, the waiter didn't speak Danish but was friendly and we still understood each other by speaking English, the pizza was good but a little too undercooked and the drink was a little watered down. A pleasant experience nonetheless

15/06/2025: This place deserves the best reviews. When I lived in Hellerup, I probably ordered a pizza no. 5 once a month. The best pizza in the world! Hot, very delicious filling and the right amount of bread baked in the original oven

30/03/2025: If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a chicken sandwich that smelled like salmon because he didn't wash his hands when he cooked my food. Additionally I ask for two drinks where he refers to bottle instead of can which should be cheaper? Two bottles of cola for DKK 70!!! Absolutely absurd. Don't come over here, bad food and bad hygiene.

30/07/2025: Really delicious gl.daws ice cream cone and soft ice cream they have here. Update: now we have also tried the food, pizzas, dürüm and pita bread. And it was a disappointing experience. The taste is missing, the bread for all 3 things was dry and hard. A little bit of a letdown.

09/12/2025: The head waiter was rude and had an unpleasant attitude telling a woman in our group to “be quiet” in a clearly demeaning way. The restaurant also seems slightly understaffed which trickles down to the other staff members as well. The food is just okay.

22/11/2025: I have to say I don't understand the other reviews at all. The staff was smiling and welcoming and only came down to us after 5 minutes and asked if we were ready to order. We got the pizzas only 10 minutes later (and we saw the other tables doing the same). The pizzas were amazing! You got the feeling of sitting down in Italy, so 165 kroner for us was super nice, especially because the restaurant is also inside Tivoli. The atmosphere was great (especially when it's dark outside). I asked for some oil and I was actually given options. Then we had to pay and the waiter was so professional and stood nicely away until we had paid. We will come again! Really good experience.

20/11/2025: We got a pizza with Nduja and one with potato. The potato was completely undercooked/raw, and when we asked for another pizza we were told it was just a shame. They were finally persuaded to put it in the oven a little longer, which didn't get much better. The Nduja pizza was good though.

02/11/2025: I lived in New York for many years and was disappointed with the quality of pizza upon moving to Denmark. Otto is in my opinion, the best Pizza place in Denmark. The Lunch deal is an excellent compromise, their speed is notable and the overall food quality is superb. I would reccomend Otto, specifically the Lunch Deal to anyone looking for a good pizza.

15/08/2025: I love their cafe latte, but this particular Espresso House is open in the center's walkway area. I'm not so crazy about that.

26/07/2025: Staff were lovely The Great Danish was really good and flavourful!! Saw comments complaining about the bun but I found it really nice and fluffy. 4 stars as it was slightly expensive coming in at £30.55 for 2 hotdogs and 2 drinks.

21/07/2025: I decided to stop by TheDogHouse and get the Danish Dog because it looked like a wild mix of local flavors I’d never tried before. I’m so glad I did. The combination of toppings and sausages was totally unique, with traditional Danish havarti, pickles, crispy fried onions, and remoulade all stacked into a warm, fresh bun. What I really loved was that this wasn’t just a novelty hot dog; it was genuinely delicious and super satisfying. You could tell a lot of thought went into putting together something that represented Copenhagen’s food scene but was also just an excellent bite on its own. I’d put it up there as one of the food highlights of our trip—and that’s saying something given how much good food there is in this city.

11/10/2025: Excellent burger at a really good price! Cozy place with super good service. My favorites are The Spot Burger and Nachos (with chicken). I enjoy coming here, and can highly recommend it to others who shop in Rødovre Centrum :-)

08/10/2025: There were 5 of us at the spot cafe yesterday in Rødovre Centrum First we encountered the most confused waiter I have ever met and I have worked as a waiter for 5 years He mixed up our order several times We were supposed to have a medium Cole for 65,- far too expensive btw and a glass of water which should have been a bottle of water. Water from the tap apparently costs 27,- which is completely gone We ordered 5 burgers also on our user there was a mistake when we got the wrong user to the table. The buns were dry, the chicken was dry, the steaks were dry and the fries were the strangest experience we have had in a long time they were both burnt and unfinished at the same time, they are definitely not 130-150,- be fortunately they cost half the price but it was also too expensive considering the food we will definitely not be back!

17/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – A fantastic experience at Esmeralda! We had a truly wonderful experience at Esmeralda! The food was really delicious, freshly prepared and tasted absolutely fantastic – everything was as it should be. The portions were appropriate, everything came quickly, and you could really taste that love and quality are put into the ingredients. The service was top-notch. The food was served quickly and hot, and the staff were incredibly nice, smiling and attentive throughout. They came several times and asked if everything was as it should be and if we needed anything – without it feeling intrusive in any way. It gave a really good and relaxed atmosphere. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also absolutely perfect – cozy, warm and inviting, not cold or impersonal like many other places can be. The decor was nice and cozy, and everything was clean and well-maintained, including the toilet, which means a lot to the overall impression. It all just worked: fast service, good food, cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. You felt really welcome from start to finish. We will definitely be back – Esmeralda gets our highest recommendation! If you are looking for a place with great food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, this is the place to go.
