06/09/2025: Super tasty burgers, highly recommended. We had Brioche Sliders, which are 3 different smaller burgers. Each one has its own little taste experience. Well above the usual standard. And the local beer went very well with it too. If you're in Sandvig and you're hungry, don't miss this.

06/09/2025: Those were some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. And I used to work at an upscale burger joint myself. :-) The sliders, in particular, are highly (!) recommended! Definitely worth a visit.

15/10/2025: Recommendations: -Starters： 🥟Raviole of Langoustine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh ingredients yet too salty. 🦞Blue lobster with marinated tomato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste but the portion of tomato could be bigger. -Main Course： 🐔Poulet Au Vin Jaune ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not creative but still very tasty. 🐟Poached cod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The garnish and the sauce are just perfect! 🫎Venison Pithivier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best of all!! Deluxe version of beef Wellington, a must try. As an art of the table, the dish was partitioned beside the table for the guests. -Dessert 🫐Blueberry and buckwheat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too sweet it’s my highest compliment.

12/10/2025: We visited the Marchal Bar and were quite disappointed. The service was negligent and somewhat indifferent—our mint tea arrived tasting only like hot water and ginger until corrected, we had to ask for more to get what we initially ordered, our cola didn’t come the first time, the sparkling water didn’t come the first time, and when it came it was flat. On top of that, the bar food itself lacked any real taste. Overall, we expected a much better experience.

16/11/2025: We had the vegan platter and the red sauce. Both dishes were very good. The coffee ceremony was a very special experience.

01/04/2025: I ordered catering from Flames Restaurant and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was delivered on time, which is incredibly important when organizing an event. The service was top notch – friendly, professional and accommodating. The staff were helpful and made sure everything was as it should be. The food was delicious, well prepared and of high quality, and both I and my guests were very satisfied. I highly recommend Flames Restaurant if you are looking for reliable catering with good service and tasty food! I will definitely order from here again.

14/11/2025: Fantastically delicious Thai food. It's not full of oil, but made perfectly - authentic and flavorful. Recently got a new menu. You can eat there - but it doesn't work as a "cozy place" and I definitely recommend just getting takeaway. There is high quality and a lot of food for the money! Lots of flavor and always friendly service. Please order in advance to avoid waiting.

05/10/2025: There has been a change of ownership and unfortunately you can taste it in the food. The food is not at all in the same league as before. Ordered a no. 41 - which I have done before, this time the noodles were dry and did not have the same taste and consistency as before, at the same time it had become far too sweet in taste, I don't know if they have started using more sugar in the food. They lost a regular customer there, unfortunately!

04/10/2025: We have just come back from the most wonderful experience at Ancestrale. We just stumbled across this beautiful wine bar on our way back from dinner in Vesterbro and were immediately drawn by the cosy atmosphere inside. The staff were wonderful - our waitress was highly knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. The interior was cosy and intimate, just what you need on a cold evening. We had a beautiful natural red wine by Nathalie Banes, another aspect that made this experience extra special - is that they try to stock many small independent producers. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone. The only critique I could give is that it would have been nice if there were some little complementary nibbles on the table to eat with our wine. However, overall a beautiful experience

29/08/2025: They have a strict concept of local fish and veg in season. The current chef with no professional training is a master of textures and flavours. The wine selection is very carefully curated. 5 servings and accompanying wines will set you back 900 dkk, which is a bargain for the level of deliciousness you get! Cosy place too.

25/09/2025: Their nachos are some of the worst I've had in a long time. The meat filling on most dishes is a bit stingy, but the taste of both pita bread and pizza is otherwise really good.

13/09/2025: I ordered a salad pizza. I asked for a little less dressing and a little less salad. When I got home and opened the tray, I only had meat on about half of the pizza. So I contacted the pizzeria and got a nice girl on the phone who really wanted to fix the problem and make a new one. But since I have a 15-minute drive, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to pick one up the next day, and I should probably send pictures of the pizza that I received today. Before we could finish talking, a man shouted in the background and the person was now the boss who made the pizza. He denied that there was any meat on it and that there was at least 150g of meat on it, and I explicitly said that I wanted to send a picture as proof, but he shouted at me and hung up. Apparently he can weigh meat with his eyes? So now I'm sitting here with a pizza that's basically just dough and dressing, and I barely paid 100kr. For it. Their store says they welcome criticism and praise so they can improve, but with a boss like him, I wonder if those notes get thrown out without being read. If I were you, I would choose another place to order from, if you still choose to order, double check your pizza before leaving. Unacceptable service from the boss, unacceptable food, and absolutely unacceptable way to handle a complaint.

15/09/2025: The staff really work their hardest, they’re super friendly, and the food is delicious for the price. This is the place to go for lunch on campus.

08/09/2025: Delicious food! The price is also a bit spicy, but that's to be expected. There are good bench options, and it's a nice place to stop by between lessons.

27/10/2025: Cozy atmosphere, nice blend of chilling and playing pool while not losing the trait of a beer place. Music was a bit unstable but still quite audible.

19/10/2025: Wonderful place! Have eaten both fish'n chips and hamburgers, both among the best we have eaten. Super delicious homemade ice cream and also the cappuccino is great! Everything five star!
