06/04/2025: We eat here often and it is always delicious. We usually order chicken and pork bao and passion fruit lemonade.

03/04/2025: Visiting from the US and we chose to get Taiwanese food as that’s what my son mostly eats. We ordered the stir fried rice noodles with beef, beef noodle soup, stir fried bok choy, and braised pork over rice. We were pleasantly surprised how fragrant the stir fried rice noodles were, really good and tastes just like in Taiwan. Other dishes were good but that really stood out. My son ate it all up! Kid approved as well.

19/04/2025: Sweet, smiling and welcoming staff who do everything to make you feel welcome. Good atmosphere and excellent brunch. Both children and adults enjoyed themselves. The food came quickly and was fresh and delicious. The juices were large and tasted really good. We look forward to visiting you again.

15/04/2025: Really great food and atmosphere! Felt sorry for the really friendly staff - very understaffed and very stressed with delayed orders having to also order inside. Coffee took 25 mins and came with food but was really good quality!

19/03/2025: We just picked up pizza no. 8, the vegetables were mashed and then a spice had been added which made them taste really bad. I have never tasted the spice before.

25/02/2025: Best pizzas for this price in Copenhagen, we go there very often and they're always delicious. The team is also very friendly and always smiling! Try the tiramisu, you won't be disappointed!

01/04/2025: Marienlyst is a really nice place, great location and good restaurants, however, there is a little to be desired in terms of maintenance of rooms and hallways, they need a loving hand in several places. The spa bath is great with a fantastic view ☀️

22/02/2025: There is far too much mess in the queue and where you have to stand if you have ordered Shrove Tuesday buns in advance, compared to paying customers and customers waiting for coffee or something else. That said, the Shrove Tuesday buns they have are delicious. The one with burnt citrus and honey is one of the best I have tasted in Copenhagen, but the other one with blackcurrant was simply not balanced enough. I had a bite with just the blackcurrant compote and it was incredibly sour, but even with the sweet cream in it, it is still sour to eat. Less sourness would have been perfect. Apart from that, the Shrove Tuesday bun itself was incredibly delicious.

28/03/2025: I stopped here to enjoy the sunshine on their lovely terrace, and it turned out to be a great find. I had a vegetable juice (carrot, apple, and ginger), which was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced and refreshing. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Seeing their pastries and the dishes they serve definitely made me want to come back and try all those tempting treats. A promising spot I can’t wait to explore further!

25/03/2025: What an experience! I loved the concept, you get given a menu card and you select either 5 or 7 items of your choice. Each portion is small, but together they are more than enough. Everything was delicious. Eggs were buttery & rich, tomato burrata salad was fresh & zingy, & the waffle was absolute perfection; it was light, crispy, and came with the most decadent cream. This was my first time trying rye bread and it wasn’t dry at all, it paired quite well with the eggs and burrata. Normally i do not fancy green smoothie bowls as they generally taste a bit too ‘vegetable-y’, but this one didn’t. It was smooth and sweet, with a hint of banana and a great texture from almond. I ordered 5 items with an english breakfast tea and my total was 197 DKK. Food was served quickly and the waitresses were friendly & helpful. I went on a tuesday morning at 9.30. I had prebooked a table online but the place wasn’t busy. However, after 10 the tables began to fill up v quickly so if you are planning on late brunch/early lunch, i would advise prebooking online. I cannot recommend this place enough!

25/03/2025: Saw Carl Winther here the other night. He was late but this place is fantastic and the music was excellent. This is a superbly downbeat and idiosyncratic venue. Perfect.

01/04/2025: I tried the cardamom bun, cinnamon roll, pan au chocolate, and sourdough roll w butter. The bun and sourdough roll were great. The other two, not my thing. They seemed to be over baked. Both the pan au chocolate and cinnamon roll were dark brown instead of golden like they usually are, not sure if that is a local preference or not but it was a bit disappointing to the palate. Good coffee, good, quick service.

19/03/2025: A truly stellar cardamom bun, for anyone that believes there isn't such a thing as too much cardamom. Fragrant, soft dough, very minor criticism that there was a slightly noticeable yeast after-taste, but overall one of the best cardamom buns. The croissant had good flakiness but was slightly denser than I prefer in the middle. The yoghurt with granola was another standout - lovely, thick yoghurt, super-crunchy and nutty granola (which the menu says comes from the Københavns Bageri), and a fresh berry compote. Very simple but each individual element executed with care. A cozy, calm atmosphere in which I would be happy to spend an hour working or reading.
