05/07/2026: This place is definitely worth a visit. It might not look as fancy or polished as some of the other restaurants on the street, but the food was excellent. Everything tasted authentic, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. I had the fried noodles with chicken, while my girlfriend had the shrimp version, and we both really enjoyed our meals. The owner was also incredibly sweet, welcoming, and happy to chat, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place.

13/06/2026: We were just wandering past this on our way home and are so glad we stopped in. Forget the menu, Li will chat with you about what you fancy and prep it for you to eat in or takeaway. She also sent us off with a cup of extra chilli oil for our meal. Proper home style cooking. It feels like a place lost in time. Bring cash or pay with MobilePay.

14/05/2026: 5 stars is perhaps a bit too much, but I decided that four was not enough - especially when you have a bakery that is almost side by side with a chain store (Lagkage…..) I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to take pictures. I have tasted milled buns and 5-grain buns - I liked the milled bun the best, but both buns tasted excellent 12,- DKK per piece. Also Spandauer with cream and lentils - both tasted absolutely great. I will definitely stop by again when I am in the area. If you come by car, there is parking right outside in front of the shop. My best recommendations!!

09/07/2026: An absolute haven of comfort! ❤️ This restaurant is run with so much love that you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and inviting. We were particularly impressed by the incredibly delicious cakes – fresh, homemade, and prepared with love. The waffles were also divine: wonderfully crispy on the outside, deliciously fluffy on the inside, and simply divine. On top of that, the exceptionally warm service makes the visit perfect. Here, you can truly feel that hospitality is a way of life. If you're looking for a charming café with amazing cakes, heavenly waffles, and a warm, family atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this little gem!

02/06/2026: Across the Street from Cool There is something deeply funny to me about how often the best meals exist directly adjacent to whatever neighborhood is currently trying hardest to be perceived. I travel for work constantly now and somewhere along the way green curry became my compass. I do not entirely know why. Maybe because it tells you everything immediately. Balance. Restraint. Confidence. Whether a kitchen understands warmth beyond temperature. So whenever I arrive in a new city or return to one I know, I search for it again like a ritual. And I think I found one of the most overlooked Thai restaurants in Copenhagen. Right across the street from the hyper curated ecosystem of Vesterbro, where people drift between artisanal wine bars and carefully distressed interiors trying to look accidentally fashionable, sits a Thai restaurant that has quietly existed for thirty years watching the neighborhood transform around it. The contrast is almost poetic. Outside the large windows you can see hundreds of people moving toward whatever place currently dominates Instagram stories this month. Inside is something older. Warmer. Human. The interior feels untouched by trend cycles. Dark wood paneling worn smooth by time. Decorations that feel collected rather than purchased for aesthetic cohesion. Low lighting that invites conversation instead of documentation. You get the distinct sense that life has actually happened here. Birthdays. Breakups. Long marriages. Exhausted workers escaping winter. First dates that lasted too long in the best way. I ate alone in what looked like a sixty seat dining room while much of the city flowed past outside toward places designed primarily to be seen in. Their loss. Because here there is kindness. The host greeted me with the sort of hospitality that cannot be taught in branding meetings. The chef carries visible pride in the food leaving the kitchen. Plate after plate emerged fragrant with coconut, lime leaf, basil, chili, and steam curling upward into the dim light. The green curry itself was exactly what I search for when I travel. Not reinvented. Not deconstructed. Not elevated into abstraction. Just deeply confident. Aromatic in the way only proper green curry can be when the balance lands perfectly between sweetness, heat, herbaceousness, and depth. The kind of dish that makes conversation pause for a second after the first bite because your brain needs a moment to catch up with your senses. Places like this remind me that cities still have souls beneath trend forecasting and lifestyle branding. Sometimes you just have to cross the street to find them.

30/05/2026: Really disappointing experience at Comedy Zoo. We were told in advance that we were supposed to support the new comedians and help create a good atmosphere, so we actually came extra excited and ready to support. That's why it was also totally strange and demotivating to get two warnings from a guard to "quiet us down", even though we were just laughing, reacting and trying to contribute to the atmosphere during a comedy show. Comedy should be about energy from the audience, and when you are silenced for engaging, it really ruins the experience. It felt more like you were sitting in a lecture than a stand-up. The guard was unnecessarily strict, and it honestly made the whole evening quite awkward and unnecessarily uncomfortable. A shame and super annoying, because the intention was actually just to support the new comedians and have a fun evening on my friend's birthday.

23/06/2026: Super good, friendly service. Ready in 10 min. We got some spring rolls for free. We got takeaway - Pad Thai, which tasted really good - the best we've tasted in Denmark, and just as good as we've had in Thailand. Really good, large portions. Highly recommended! 🙏🏼

20/06/2026: Very generous portions, friendly staff, seating inside or outside, small Thai shop in the restaurant & dishes with protein sources that can be chosen individually / eat in or also popular as takeaway -> we would come back and order something again :)

14/05/2026: What started as a spontaneous thought to stop and have some lunch on the way to the summer house ended up in the absolute best taste experience As far as SCHNITZEL is concerned I have ever experienced. 5 out of 5 stars. At first glance, the menu appears a bit overpriced, but that was put to shame when the SCHNITZELS were first served! Generous portions like grandma used to serve them, and cooked to perfection. I can only recommend this place. I will definitely be back.

14/05/2026: When we arrived, Mark was polite but not overly friendly. Very Danish and direct. The menu also seemed a little pricy at first glance, but when the food arrived it all made sense. Never in my life have I seen such a large beautiful plate of schnitzel. It could’ve fed a family of 7 through the war times. Beaten to perfection. Marks wife has a gift. All the animals are free range and our schnitzel was made from a happy hog named Jesper, very rewarding to eat quality food and support the organic farmers.

01/07/2026: I had two cups of black coffee, and it was the best iced Americano I've ever had. If you like coffee with acidity, please, please go to Prologue. On nice days, drink outside; the breeze is gentle. You don't have to worry about being watched, and you can enjoy everything. There is a place in Korea that supplies Prologue beans, so I always ordered them to drink, but it was great to be able to come to the store in person and buy new beans! I visited Prologue Coffee four times during my trip. I visited a different branch once and this one three times, and I was so happy because the owner always welcomed me with a warm smile. I had something I wanted to tell you, but you looked busy, so I couldn't and came back. Thank you for being so hyggelig!!!!!!❤️ Let's definitely meet again!!!
