20/10/2025: I would like to start by praising the bakery for offering a vegan option – I really appreciate it. I ordered a vegan cake for 15 people and brought a picture of a cake the bakery had previously made for a family member. The original cake had a chocolate base and passion fruit cream and was light, fresh and heavenly in taste, so I wanted exactly the same for my daughter’s birthday. When ordering, the picture was shown to the baker to make sure it could be done – but the cake I received was unfortunately completely different from the one ordered. It was square, covered in marzipan (which I can’t tolerate), and without a chocolate base. It also tasted very sweet – according to both myself and our guests – although I must admit that the cake was beautiful and well-made. Look at the pictures – I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The guests thought it was a joke. I had a friendly conversation with the bakery manager on the day of collection, where I was given an explanation that the clerk had not noted down all the details, and that the baker had unfortunately been ill during the period. The conversation was handled politely and respectfully from both sides, which I appreciate. However, professionally, I believe that the responsibility for ensuring correct information should lie with the bakery. When a customer comes with a picture and clear wishes, there should be a follow-up if there is any doubt - for example with a simple phone call. I was encouraged to be more detailed with future orders, which I understand, but in this case I had actually done just that. All in all, a beautiful cake and friendly service - but unfortunately not “my” order.

08/11/2025: I have been coming to the city's pizza since 1995. It's great pizzas and a cozy place with always good service and friendly staff. They get 5/5 stars here from ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

25/09/2025: Their nachos are some of the worst I've had in a long time. The meat filling on most dishes is a bit stingy, but the taste of both pita bread and pizza is otherwise really good.

31/12/2025: They have several pool tables, to be rented for 50 minutes at a time. And TVs to watch sport matches.

29/12/2025: Lots of TV screens to watch sports on. Lots of pool tables, and last but not least nice bartenders. A nice place with a mature crowd where you can relax 😊👍

28/09/2025: The panini with gorgonzola and pumpkin was amazing. Super tasty! The service was very nice and the weather was also good, so we could enjoy the food by the canal. Highly recommended!

10/08/2025: The sandwich has high-quality ingredients, the focaccia is really well made, and the tiramisu is one of the best I've ever had. The wines are surprisingly excellent for the modest price. Attentive and professional service. I recommend it! 🇬🇧 ps. The only thing missing is the music!

18/08/2025: Freddy's Bar is definitely a top highlight of the city. It's a classic pub, simply honest and demanding nothing of itself other than to be a pub. They have a variety of beers on tap, the staff is hearty, as befits a good pub, and incredibly friendly. Anyone who insults the waitress gets a good telling off, as is only right. The prices are great. I'd give it 7/5 if I could. Go there.

09/10/2025: The croque-monsieur and its little mustard sauce were really good. The menu is simple and quite expensive, that's all, the place is nice but you are quickly crowded on the terrace, good address but that doesn't break a duck's three legs.

11/08/2025: Nicest place, but we really didn't feel welcome. If we had questions, they were answered as if we were on the other side. We felt like they were happy we went. And all the coffee is made with oat milk, which is perfectly fine, but maybe something you want to be informed about before ordering. Otherwise, great food.
