I am personally (unfortunately) a big beef lover but these meals were so divine I didn’t even want to say yes to the option to add a meat or fish. things I have been a bit wary of in the past blew me away with their preparation. the wine pairings were perfect and the staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable. I will be reminiscing on this meal for years to come !

19/08/2026: Worst waiting experience. We were a group of three and waited in line for an hour just to get a table. Another family of four in front of us had already been waiting even longer. The waitress kept giving tables to groups of two who arrived after us instead of giving us two separate tables close to each other. The waiting system was very unorganized. If you are a group of more than two people, it seems difficult to get a table because they prioritize seating groups of two. In the end, we gave up waiting and left.

16/08/2025: Our evening was perfect; we chose the short menu and we were delighted and amazed with every dish. Simple with local and fresh ingredients, but with a perfect mix of surprising flavors. Our 3 year old was served a menu of her own which she loved and the cook was adorable, coming to our table to see if we liked the food. We highly recommend this jem of a restaurant.

15/08/2026: Been there several times, and yes there is plenty of room for improvement. The prices are high and you expect a lot. But what could be a delicious food and drink experience is ruined by shabby surroundings, and way too long a wait. Simple things that you would expect from a place that calls itself a coffee shop, such as sweet tablets as an alternative to sugar, are not even there. It seems like the staff is in their own little bubble, not even a glance or a remark if you have been noticed, no they just turn their backs on the guest. You get what you pay for in staff, I speak from 25 years of experience in the industry.

22/03/2026: I am speechless. The times are that staff say no to customers who do not behave nicely, and this can only be supported by the undersigned, who uses the city and facilities a lot. On the other hand, guests must and should also be able to say no when they experience poor service without being reprimanded when you say no in a proper way. There were 2 of us sitting and enjoying ourselves at the terminal, who gladly took the order, including payment, when we went up to the bar and ordered, but who just had to sort something out afterwards and we consistently waited 10-15 minutes to get 2 beers without other customers standing, without there being a queue. I said properly that I did not think it was okay that I had to wait every time (for the money they had received) and to push them to get the 2 beers that WERE paid for, but not delivered. Suddenly, while the four of us are sitting and talking, a girl comes up to the table that I had not seen at any time during the evening and addresses me (me, who is ordering the goods) I have to speak properly! Uhhh. Of what? Yes, they had heard that I had told the staff that I did not want to wait fifteen minutes every time I paid for 2 beers and that was not speaking properly to the staff. I am speechless! Paying for expensive specialty beers and EVERY time pushing them away because the beer is not being poured and then being told that you have to speak properly when you express yourself - not with swear words and not with scolding, but with not finding it okay that without a queue or other customers at the counter you can be allowed to pay, but not receive and there is 1 staff member, who is new, poor 2 beers without it taking 15 minutes, yes then there is something the staff this Saturday in March has misunderstood. We regularly use the terminal as we live close by, but it ends here. What kind of behavior is it to ask guests who have paid but do not receive the item to stop saying it. I think that is an annoying behavior on the part of the terminal towards, to this day, loyal customers.

20/08/2026: Ordered a cardamom roll, which was underbaked and filled with way too many cardamom pieces inside, making it inedible. I pointed this out to the staff and it was taken back without being offered an alternative. When I asked if she would offer me something else, she just shrugged her shoulders and said “no”. I have been to Alice many times, both for the coffee, the coziness and the ice cream, but I don’t think it will be relevant anymore with this lack of service.

12/08/2026: During my trip to Copenhagen, I visited Alice, and it was without a doubt the best bakery I tried in the city. Copenhagen has many famous bakeries, but Alice was the one that impressed me the most. The first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. The place is small, cozy, and has a very relaxed feeling. It is a perfect spot to have breakfast or simply enjoy a coffee and something sweet. Everything looked fresh and homemade, which made it difficult to choose what to order. The highlight for me was the cardamom bun. It was soft, fresh, and full of flavor without being too sweet. I also really enjoyed the coffee, which went perfectly with the pastry. The quality of the ingredients was noticeable, and everything felt carefully prepared. The staff were friendly, and even though the place can get quite busy, the experience was still enjoyable. The prices are not particularly cheap, but I think the quality makes them completely worth it. Overall, Alice was my favorite bakery in Copenhagen. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially if they want to try an amazing cardamom bun.

31/10/2025: i wish every restaurant did this trio choice thing , it would really save me so much emotional turmoil from indecision every single time i go out. pizzas were also a good size and i think the price was reasonable — PLUS, you get your own mini pizza cutter which i thought was super fun. the space was a bit small but it really added to the nice quaint, cozy vibe. i got the sweet cheesus, rosemary bacon, and the fall special pumpkin & parmesan. my favourite was probably the sweet cheesus, which was slightly sweet, super warm and juicy with stretchy, melted cheese, and was just super comforting. i also really enjoyed the balance of the smoky, salty bacon and the slight sweetness of the crunchy pumpkin slices, along with the faint aroma of the rosemary. the pumpkin & parmesan was not really as notable, and i wish there was a stronger, sweeter pumpkin flavour. the chili flakes did add a nice spice to it though. i also tried the truffle and thyme, which had a lot of mushrooms with a really strong wild mushroom taste to it, and honestly not enough truffle. all the crusts were quite crispy, but the dough did get just slightly too chewy/tough for me as it cooled pretty quickly. i recommend getting a dip because eating the crust is always better with a dip.

29/06/2026: I visited Copenhagen on a trip from Japan. BMO was so delicious that I still miss it even after returning to Japan. Needless to say, the bread was amazing, but the cheese was the best I've ever tasted in my life. I can't believe something this delicious exists! I went there on my first day of my stay, and decided it absolutely had to be my last meal in Copenhagen, so I went back again. The staff were also very friendly, and I fell in love with Copenhagen because of it.

28/06/2026: We came here on a friend’s recommendation to try what were supposedly the “best croissants” in the city. Unfortunately, by 4:00 p.m. there wasn’t a single croissant left. The bakery is open until 6:00 p.m., so running out of its signature product that early seems like a strange way to manage inventory. There were still some other pastries available, but not the one most people come for. We also didn’t particularly enjoy our interaction with the staff member. There was a sense of arrogance and irritation in the communication, which made us feel unwelcome. The pastries we ended up buying were disappointing. We left half of them uneaten. Coffee is really good. The café is conveniently located next to the metro station, but unfortunately the surrounding area felt quite dirty, and during our visit a man nearby was shouting loudly for a prolonged period of time. If you live in the neighborhood, it may be worth stopping by early in the day for a croissant. However, I would not recommend traveling across the city as a tourist specifically to visit this place.

07/08/2026: Had diner here on our Copenhagen city trip. Friendly place, nice staff. Not very touristy, more of a neighbourhood place. Good food in generous portions. Local beers, nice wine selection.
