30/06/2026: Fantastic Iranian pizza. You have to ask for them though (they are on a separate menu). For those Danes who haven't tried them. Then you have something to look forward to. Iranian pizza has a LOT of cheese and is a deep pan pizza. Thanks for the food.

10/08/2025: Sitting on the terrace on a sunny day and having lunch with a view of the cliffs, beach and sea can really do something, if the white wine had been just a tad colder it would have been perfect.

08/08/2025: A year ago we had a really delicious lunch and that's why we were looking forward to having lunch again. Unfortunately we were disappointed because: the young girls who served forgot to wipe the table and there were sand and crumbs on the table. A long time after our food was served the bread and butter came. 2 of us got cabbage for 135,- which was soggy and had no taste at all. The 2 who got chicken salad for 145,- were satisfied but were far from full. No waiters checked on us and we had to go in and ask for the bill ourselves where all the waiters were gathered. The view is of course top notch.

28/06/2026: The coffee and the place are nice, but the food unfortunately leaves an unusually bad impression. I have rarely had such a sad brunch. The bread is nice though.

16/12/2025: Lovely restaurant. Great location with a view of the Øresund. Neat, bright rooms and very nice waiters. The food was top notch. We enjoyed it very much and are already looking forward to the next time.

17/09/2025: I don't understand that I have to share food with others - when we have ordered, for example, three pieces of open sandwiches with eggs and shrimp, it comes in a bowl instead of each separately - it's a shame - it was the same with chicken salad. Small slices of rye bread - 100 kroner per piece. It could be done better. I have to ask for my own plate with what I have ordered

16/05/2026: Favorite place for many years. But they keep the cheese down on every pizza, pepperoni almost no cheese. Keep it in mind when you order!!

19/04/2026: I LOVE spicy food but ordered medium. The tom yum soup was still so spicy that it was overwhelming for me and my wife didn't want any and wished me luck. I don't assume it's normally that spicy. Also ordered phat thai which was good and medium spicy as expected.

The interior is classic and well-worn in the best possible way. There’s a beautiful old billiard table (the proper smaller Danish kind, not American pool) that has seen better days but still delivers plenty of entertainment. No pretentious decor, no craft beer nonsense – just solid, reasonably priced pints and a straightforward selection that matches the unassuming vibe perfectly. Prices are fair and far from the snobby levels you see in many other places these days. Cafe Malmø isn’t trying to be Instagram-friendly or cozy for everyone. It’s a raw, iconic slice of real Danish pub culture. Whether it feels wonderfully hyggelig or slightly sketchy depends entirely on who you are and what you’re looking for. If you appreciate unpolished authenticity and places with real character, this little gem is hard to beat.

29/04/2026: Fantastic basement pub, brown pub fittings with eclectic decor and cosy surroundings. Usual basic drinks selection, typical prices for the district. Lived in, charming and interesting. I wish it long life.
