26/08/2026: After an early morning hike in Mols Bjerge National Park, we stopped at Labacate Café for a late breakfast/brunch. Bringing our dog wasn't a problem, and they offered us the option of sitting inside or in the small backyard. Hoping it wouldn't be too chilly, we opted for the outside. Unfortunately, it was quite shady there, and it wasn't the hottest day, but we didn't feel like moving again. At least it was very quiet, as most of the other guests were indeed inside. 😅 The friendly, but sometimes slightly aloof, waitress quickly informed us that she was working alone and asked us to come inside briefly to let her know once we'd finished choosing our food. So we did. Our drinks arrived shortly after. I've definitely had better iced matcha lattes, but it did the job. After a bit of a wait, our sandwiches finally arrived. I opted for the churrasco, a sourdough toast with pesto, melted cheese, Brazilian steak, caramelized onions, and chimichurri sauce. My partner chose the misto quente, a toasted sourdough sandwich with grilled cheese, pesto, cheese, and ham. At 150 to 180 crowns, the price for a sandwich was quite high, roughly 20 to 24 euros. However, both sandwiches were truly delicious and generously filled. My thin strips of steak were still nice and juicy, which isn't always the case with this type of preparation. We cleared the table and paid ourselves as we were leaving. From the display case, we also picked up a brownie and a lemon meringue tart to take away. I'd like to give these two seemingly unassuming pastries a special mention, as they deserve an extra star. The brownie was soft, baked to the absolute best, and had a wonderfully rich chocolate flavor with a hint of espresso. The crunchy whole almonds provided a perfect contrast. The small lemon tart was also a masterpiece of pastry. The sweetness and tartness were perfectly balanced, the pastry was beautifully soft and not at all dry—simply divine. Overall, Labacate Café impressed us most with its truly excellent food and outstanding pastries. While the sandwiches aren't exactly cheap, we weren't disappointed by the taste. The two pastries from the display case were a real surprise and definitely make the café an attractive option for a relaxed brunch or a sweet treat after a hike.

19/09/2026: My wife and I booked for an 8.30pm dinner which was the only available time on a busy Friday evening. We were stunned by the food, wine and the service. The servings were delicious and very generous. I am a big eater but sadly, I couldn’t finish my main meal, as delicious as it was. I had the fish soup for entree which had wonderful depth of flavour. My main was the Tartare. As amazing as it was, I would suggest the smaller serving. The wine list was extraordinary with an offering at every price point. They offered over 150 wines by the glass and the servings were again very generous. We left the restaurant at 11.30pm and went back the next day for lunch!!

16/09/2026: Really worth a visit, and the Michelin star is well deserved. Portion sizing vs. Price is better than average, and can really recommend.

29/08/2026: I just ate at Nygades Grill & Sushi - Skjern. I chose sushi and was pleased to experience an exceptionally high quality of ingredients and a large amount of filling in the pieces. Among other things, I ordered tuna and there was a lot of tuna in the sushi. It was just SO delicious. Thank you so much for a really good meal. I will definitely be back.

06/09/2026: Very good tasting ice cream. The pricing is very weird though, to the point of it being cheaper to get a lot of scoops on a single cone and sharing instead of getting separate ones.

03/11/2025: We went there for the first time today. We treated ourselves to a large soft-serve ice cream with a caramel coating. The staff was nice and friendly. The portions were large and tasted great. We'll definitely be back.

12/09/2026: The best pizza you can find in Juelsminde. Very good and fast service, polite workers and enjoyable atmosphere. Perfect dough combine with filling so well. Also have tried tapas, it’s unbelievable, so simple but it was really tasty, and it’s goes amazing with all of drinks. Gonna comes back here, every time I visiting this city

11/09/2026: My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and we had a really good experience. The food was amazing, the service was good, and there was a really nice atmosphere. We felt very welcome and everything lived up to our expectations. We will definitely be back and can definitely recommend the place to others.

15/08/2026: Very good pizza. I had a Margherita. The crust was thin and crispy. A very small restaurant, more geared towards takeaway pizza. Nevertheless, very nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

20/08/2026: Superb food - best cooking during our stay in Aarhus (and we ate in some great restaurants !) Imaginative dishes, using high quality ingredients and beautifully put together. An amazing wine list - the glasses they recommended to go with specific dishes were really clever pairings. A restaurant that really knows what it is doing!
