16/04/2025: There were 30 people who had booked a table in advance. We placed the orders when we arrived (the food and drinks) Felt welcome, good menu, quick order, but then the service let up. (just like last time) Had to wait 1 hour for the food, drinks we then had to wait another 15-20.

30/03/2025: Clumsy when they make mistakes and in general.

24/08/2025: The pizzas were completely burnt around the edges, so much had to be cut off.

18/05/2025: We had eight pizzas and a salad delivered to our holiday home outside of Herning (12 km away) during the Ice Hockey World Championship. The prices were very fair, and the staff was very friendly (both on the phone and the driver). The pizza and salad were delicious and still warm upon delivery.

10/07/2025: 12 months of patience wasted – an experience filled with frustration and disappointment I rarely write reviews, but this experience with Samsø Badehotel has unfortunately left me so disappointed that I feel the need to warn others. After almost a year – yes, 12 months – of repeated attempts to get a booking in place, and several cancellations from the hotel, hope was finally there that we could complete the stay. Along the way, I have kept myself informed, including about the validity of the gift card, and when I was told that it was still active, I of course took it with me. But then it turned out that it had “just been used” – without me being informed – and it was almost turned against me. Honestly, it felt like a deliberate strategy to avoid fulfilling an obligation. It seemed as if the hotel found a “smart” way to escape responsibility – and it leaves a bitter taste. The service throughout has been anything but accommodating. I have experienced a lack of communication, cancellations without real compensation, and an overall feeling that our experience was not taken seriously. I am sorry – not just for the wasted time and money, but for the way we have been treated. A place that thrives on the trust of guests and the expectation of a special stay should be able to do better. My hope is that no one else will have to feel the same way we did. Choose wisely – and be aware of what you are getting into.

16/07/2025: Ordered a durum with kebab plus chicken, onion, garlic and chili and fries in it. Took 3 bites and had to throw the rest out. Tasted so ugly and disgusting. The salad was completely YELLOW and not green. The kebab was completely dry and tasted strange. Clearly I had had all the day's "leftovers" and also paid 156kr for delivery, even though he said by phone 140kr. I called at 9pm where he said it would take 1 hour before it arrived. I will NEVER use that place again. AD it was great!

04/10/2025: Ate at the restaurant at 6:30 PM on 3/10 The acoustics are really bad and therefore very noisy, so it was difficult to have a conversation with those you were sitting at the table with. We had all chosen the buffet, several dishes were pitch cold and the taste was uninteresting. There was also not much food on the plates, so you also went in vain for food. Their mini spring rolls are the only thing that would get 5 stars

04/10/2025: Seems like the standard has dropped. Not much food in the bowls and some half cold. Not so good at clearing plates from the table

10/10/2025: I've lived in the area for quite some time, and based on all my experiences, this is my conclusion: This McD is a huge hit-or-miss. Like night and day. If you want your food fast, go drive-in. They prioritize them over the guests inside the restaurant. And they click through your number to get a faster time between each other. That's what former employees say :) Sometimes the food comes quickly, and it's hot. Other times it takes way too long, and you get cold food or forgotten items. Whether it's busy or not doesn't matter here. Unfortunately. I have better experiences with the day team than the evening ones. The restaurant is okay, but mainly dirty most of the time. Especially in the evening. Flies fly around. And sometimes there are huge groups of Kurds from Kuwait in there, who don't exactly create peace and order around them. Would I recommend this McD? Both yes and no. It's a bit like most McD's. But I would recommend giving it a shot :)

28/09/2025: I ordered: A bacon burger menu - came without bacon, and a hot coke. Two pizza sandwiches 75 kr. each, came with virtually no filling (see picture) I will not buy from there again.

08/08/2025: Ordered two pizzas for delivery on 8-8-25. One was a different pizza than ordered. Had ordered a mamma mia, but got one with only cheese. They promised to send the right one, but it never arrived. So that was the first and last time I order pizza from there.

14/09/2025: Ordered Durum no. 42a which according to the menu consists of kebab, salad, tomato, cucumber and dressing. Durum passes the forearm test and looks delicious when unpacked and smells good. The bread is homemade and tastes really good, in a good durum there should be 50/50% meat and vegetables. I thought there was something on the lower side of meat in this one and the meat seemed a little dry. On the other hand, all the vegetables are fresh and delicious. There is just on the lower side of dressing, it could have taken a little more. Bathed in chili and garlic in mine and chili makes it just bring beads of sweat to the forehead. DKK 75 for this bandit, it is the best I have had, absolutely not but it is easily edible.

04/05/2025: Good pizzeria that makes pizzas at the better end. It is highly recommended to buy food from here.

04/09/2025: Delicious food and beer. Crispy Neapolitan pizza. Slow service, few waiters and bartenders. Cozy terrace on the riverbank.

31/08/2025: A lovely restaurant that gives the impression of not just catering to tourists, but rather serving high-quality food in a lovely setting by the river. Delicious homemade pasta, special requests were immediately accommodated, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you :)

27/05/2025: My boyfriend and I wanted to celebrate our 5th anniversary and so we ended up buying some sushi from you guys. However, it was so inedible that I wish I hadn't been with him for the last 5 years. The only good thing that came out of this is that I'm saving a lot of money on sushi because I'm traumatized after this terrible taste experience.

26/08/2025: The burger🍔 was okay, the patty was very fluffy, not nice and firm, but had holes all over it. That's not what I call a good burger patty. The fries🍟 were unfortunately super hard, and for the equivalent of €33, we didn't think the two meals (burger, fries, and Coke) were very good. We've had much better ones, and cheaper ones too. The two ladies behind the counter were really nice to us, but I'm still only giving them average stars.
