28/12/2025: I ordered pad thai… which was really bad… full of soy sauce and too sour. So, to the chef of this restaurant a small tips, A basic pad thai is stir-fries garlic, egg, and chicken or shrimp, then adds rice noodles with tamarind, fish sauce, and a little sugar then finished with bean sprouts, chives, peanuts, and served with lime. Hope next time you will make it little bit like it.

07/08/2025: It used to be my favourite place for food quality, price and portion until now, however I was deeply saddened last week, when I saw that one pad Thai costs 90 dkk and it came in a way too smaller portion than they used to make it. All Street Food became way too overpriced and small portioned....

16/10/2025: Normally their rolls have been satisfactory, but last time they were quite bland and not that filling. We'll probably find somewhere else next time.

12/09/2025: I had a fantastic time at 8660 in Skanderborg! The atmosphere is really cozy and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and visitors. The staff is super friendly and attentive, always making sure you feel comfortable. Drinks are top quality, with a great selection of beers and cocktails at fair prices. It’s definitely the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good music, and have a fun night out. Highly recommend if you’re in Skanderborg!

11/07/2025: I saw a sign that says “ALL Americans must be accompanied by an adult” and thought that it’s interesting that we in Skanderborg decide to have this attitude seeing that smukfest is right around the corner (Many artist and festival goers are American). Anyways it fits into what I’ve heard and have experienced about the place. People who look too foreign or sound foreign are always the first they turn away when the place gets a bit busy. From the first look at the sign it could be a joke (a tasteless one) but in combination with people’s experiences this proves to be more of a telling statement. I do understand the reference but I don’t see how it’s applicable/necessary in this situation. The drinks are decent however the level of hygiene in the bathrooms is questionable. Wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t plan on ever going again seeing that I would be supporting this behaviour.

13/07/2025: Jeg havde bestilt bord til min fødselsdag, vi troppede op kl 18 og mødte op til en papir seddel på døren med...vi har lukket. Ufattelig dårligt! Ingen opringning og ingen mail vedrørende min bordreservation. Jeg havde fået bekræftelse og husk nu mail..... Sætter ALDRIG mine ben der igen. Minus stjerner herfra.

24/05/2025: Vi havde bestilt bord og modtaget bekræftelse. Da vi kom dagen efter var restauranten lukket. De er gået konkurs for mere end en uge siden men modtager altså stadig bestillinger!

27/12/2025: This pizza had a special ingredient that I didn't see on the ingredient list...a shard of glass. I will never order from here again!!!

29/10/2025: Wow we are a group of international students from Berlin who ate here and it was genuinely AMAZING.The pizza was supreme, the burger was exquisite pls for gods sake try the jumbo burger it was what I had and enjoyed rly much

19/07/2025: On Wednesday of week 29, they had sold out of over half of the ice creams on the menu. This is not expected in high season.

16/07/2025: A very local place! By that I mean that there are many locals enjoying a beer or some barbecue food there. The food is classic barbecue food such as burgers and fries. The food is ok and the service is satisfactory. Just for your information: this place allows smoking indoors.

12/12/2025: There are a number of very good restaurants in Aarhus, and the overall standard of quality is very high. However, this restaurant is something special: a small menu, excellent cuisine, a thoroughly pleasant atmosphere, and sound-absorbing elements installed, which cannot be praised highly enough. We tried various dishes from the menu and were very impressed by all of them. What's more, the restaurant used to be a wine bar and has taken over the wine cellar. The advice on wine selection is particularly good. For wine-loving and pasta-loving guests, this is the place to go in Aarhus.

05/10/2025: Coffee and cake 65 kr after a trip to Hjerl heath..

04/08/2025: We had explicitly ordered coffee and cake for 10 adults and cake for 10 children (they don't drink coffee) over the phone. We were charged for 20 times coffee and cake and on top of that 400(!) DKK for 10 small jugs of tap water. When asked about it, there was no understanding - the owner had written something different about the order in his book (it must be his mistake), and as he almost shouted: He also has to pay for the dishes.

31/10/2025: We were 14 friends who had booked a table. We waited a whole hour for our food. 5 of us ordered draft beer, but at best we got a mixture of it and canned beer (we saw it being mixed at the bar) but unfortunately we have no other tangible evidence than our taste buds that these were the beers we were served. Several of us were given the wrong food in the first place. One of my friends also found a piece of plastic in her food, which she managed to chew on - but fortunately not eat or break her teeth on. Her food was also completely cold, and she only ate less than half, after which she handed over her plate with the agreement that they would heat up the remaining food so that she could have it again. However, that never happened. Still, she was charged half the price. In such cases, and with the thought of an imminent danger of being reported to the Danish Food Authority due to the plastic, it is highly reprehensible that one does not manage to save the situation with good service. Because that's almost the worst. Fortunately, several of my friends think the food was tasty, but when the service and management are of such poor quality, the dining experience quickly fades into the background. The waiter generally seemed stressed, grumpy and tired of her job. She failed to seize the opportunity to compensate for the boring experience through discounts, vouchers - or at least general politeness and friendliness. We are very disappointed and simply want to warn others against a similar experience by writing this review, as a friendly criticism directed at the restaurant itself, as described above, was unfortunately not taken seriously.

17/10/2025: We ate a group of 20 there on the first Saturday in October. We had ordered food in advance. They were there when we arrived. We got drinks and then delicious freshly baked bread with cheese was brought to the table, we got a generous amount of it. The food was a bit large portions but the quality was high. It was well prepared. It's not gourmet, but it's decent and honest.

29/09/2025: Die Bierbar is without a doubt one of Aarhus' coolest bars! From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere hits you right in the heart — Tyrolean vibes, cold beers, great drinks, and music that makes you want to sing along and dance. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome. Drinks and beer are cheaper if you come early, and even when the place is full, I think they manage to maintain good service. I love their events — bingo, beer pong, and all that mixed with hits and a German atmosphere just makes for a party you won't soon forget. And the price? Very reasonable for how much you get for your money. Are you looking for a bar where you can party, meet people, have fun, and feel like the night has only just begun — Die Bierbar really hits the spot!

23/09/2025: I've never had such a bad burger. Homemade steak. Maybe. But it was dry and chewy, despite being nicely red inside. It looked like it had been microwaved. Totally inedible.

05/10/2025: Good thing they're not called Joe & the Coffee Because they can't figure out how to make Coffee Sorry, but how hard can it be to make a cup of coffee and remember to bring a straw for your smoothie.

17/09/2025: 🥤🎶 Joe & The Juice Viborg – a juice with a death stare on top 🎶🥤 Hold on… I walk in the door, and the first encounter is a wall of music so loud that you’d think they were trying to drown out both the blenders and the customers’ will to live. The temperature is set to “tropical rainforest,” and you feel more like you’re at a techno party in Berlin than in a café in Viborg. I try to shout my order over the noise, but am met with a look from the clerk that could make milk curdle. Smile? No. Service? Forget it. Just pure mortal contempt delivered directly over the counter. When I tried a friendly “have a good day,” I got a look back that made me wonder if I had insulted the entire Joe family personally. And then the price… Oh yes, the juice tastes great – but at that price it should be served with live music, foot massages, and a free Tesla included. Instead, you get a cardboard cup of fruit puree and a bill that could make even a lawyer sweat. All in all, Joe & The Juice Viborg is an experience where you pay luxury prices to be treated like an unwanted guest at a nightclub. Rating: 1 out of 6 overpriced straws. Thanks for the experience, Joe & The Juice. I am now both poorer, slightly deaf – and impressed by how quickly you can mix a bad mood with a little juice.

03/03/2026: Really good pizza. It was made really fast, and it was a very good value for the price. The guy working was also nice.

03/03/2026: 5/5 stars! Perfect experience. Really delicious pizza, you know in that delicious, slightly “snappy” way. 😝 Not a fancy Copenhagen sourdough pizza, but the right kebab-salad-dressing-type pizza! And at good prices, around 70kr/piece. The pizzas were ready super quickly (after 15 min) and we experienced really good, friendly service! 100% we will be back 🙌☀️🌟

24/11/2025: I was disappointed with the surface of the Petangue court. Since there was a carpet that looked like grass, you can't tear the court like you can on sand. The court is very uneven and the ball rolls far and with uneven bumps, you can't control the ball or calculate the path.

02/11/2025: We enjoyed playing petanque, even though the courts are worn and crooked. It's a shame that they hadn't made a little effort with the tapas plates, a few olives and salad would have made the impression more delicious. The service was not impressive, 4 different wines in the same glass.... a not very attentive host and we waited a long time for wine and water to be refilled and sat for a long time with dirty plates. We had to ask for snacks for the wine tasting ourselves. It's a shame, because with a little more effort, the place and concept really have the potential to be a cozy wine and dining place. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll come back or recommend it to others.
