04/01/2026: The food was good. Picked up the pizzas at the counter as the owner is in poor health. But the pizzas were really good.

13/12/2025: Really poor food.. the price is totally unfair and does not correspond at all to the quality. Quality is not a word this place knows the shadow of. Poor and even expensive! Rude owner.. no friendliness or hospitality. One star is too much.

29/09/2025: Shen Mao is simply one of the best nightclubs/bars I've visited in Aarhus! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the raw basement vibe — graffiti on the walls, DJs who can really get the dance floor going, and then the ping pong table in the back as a brilliant twist. As soon as the party starts, the atmosphere is at its highest: people are dancing, singing along, talking, playing ping pong, having a good time — all with an energy that is contagious. The staff is nice, the drinks are good (and sometimes there are good deals), and the place really manages to create something different. If you want to go out and have a night of life, fun, and something out of the ordinary, Shen Mao is the place!

12/10/2025: It's fantastic, nothing less. Super cozy, authentic and right in the middle of the harbor. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The prices seemed fair and the food tastes fantastic. See you again soon.

09/12/2025: Their online order had closed everything with rice because they had cooked it too little. So I went down there to order, but they couldn't even take the order up at the cash register because they were busy shouting and playing behind the counter. When I finally got there, the woman behind the cash register unfortunately couldn't figure out how to enter extra rice or anything. I looked at the salad bar first because it was easier for them, but when I saw it I really started laughing. It seemed extremely bad, both the service and the way the store looks. When we finally got home, they had made one bowl with rice instead of noodles. I came down to want it exchanged and she honestly didn't think I had ordered extra crispy chicken so I HAD to show a receipt before they bothered to change it. There was no apology or anything at all, just angry faces who clearly thought I was annoying And if they hadn't damn well done it wrong AGAIN… The whole thing took over an hour and I thought it was a good night.

07/12/2025: Have ordered from here several times and the food is almost never ready on time. Often they haven't even started when it should be. Average extra wait time of 10-30 minutes. The staff do what they can, but they seem stressed and overworked. The food itself is ok. The place is poorly ventilated and you end up with clothes and hair that smell. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place.

29/10/2025: I have been coming there for several years now and am very satisfied with the burger and fries and thought they were nice portions, but the Kebab feels more like chewing on cartilage/tendons and cannot be recommended without improvement.

25/09/2025: You have to look for a long time for something like sticky grilled food. Banegårdsgrillen is definitely the worst grill bar I have tried to date. The food is too greasy, low quality and is made by angry employees who hate their job. The grill has 3 prices for a burger: Small, medium, large, which means the customer is left in doubt about what they are actually getting for their money. When you ask about the size of the burger in relation to the price, you get a sour answer and you end up not buying a burger. A boring strategy that some money-hungry employers use to save on food. You basically get the same in a medium burger as you get when buying a small one. The angry sad teenagers she has employed don't even bother to be there. The pricing of the so-called "grilled food" is completely absurd. But the money-hungry employer thinks that they should boost the price because the grill bar is located in a place where commuters pass by every day, namely next to the DSB station. She just hasn't considered that the low quality barbecue food served in the dilapidated shed doesn't match the price at all. 3 words: Arrogance, low quality, expensive prices. If you want a real burger. Then go to Burger Time in Randers pedestrian zone.

29/09/2025: Have eaten there a few times and their food is incredibly delicious. Especially their platters. The best Greek food in Aarhus and the surrounding area

29/09/2025: Got a chicken gyros from wolt. Fluffy bread, juicy chicken and surprisingly delicious with mustard mayo! The waiter was so nice to give us some extra fries in the gyros! Definitely coming back

22/11/2025: A good place to eat, the food is good and there are nice cold drinks from the plate😁, but they are welcome to let you know if they don't have everything for the dish you ordered🤔. Then you won't be surprised that something is missing on the plate 😵‍💫. All in all, good service and food👍

28/10/2025: Have only eaten there about 5 times in the last 2 years.. Can only praise them, if you buy the dish of the day there is plenty of food and it comes within about 10 minutes

04/12/2025: Have been coming there for several years, you are always greeted with a smile, there is fresh kebab, you can see they care about hygiene and it also tastes just fantastic compared to what else you can get from kebab in Randers

31/10/2025: We were 14 friends who had booked a table. We waited a whole hour for our food. 5 of us ordered draft beer, but at best we got a mixture of it and canned beer (we saw it being mixed at the bar) but unfortunately we have no other tangible evidence than our taste buds that these were the beers we were served. Several of us were given the wrong food in the first place. One of my friends also found a piece of plastic in her food, which she managed to chew on - but fortunately not eat or break her teeth on. Her food was also completely cold, and she only ate less than half, after which she handed over her plate with the agreement that they would heat up the remaining food so that she could have it again. However, that never happened. Still, she was charged half the price. In such cases, and with the thought of an imminent danger of being reported to the Danish Food Authority due to the plastic, it is highly reprehensible that one does not manage to save the situation with good service. Because that's almost the worst. Fortunately, several of my friends think the food was tasty, but when the service and management are of such poor quality, the dining experience quickly fades into the background. The waiter generally seemed stressed, grumpy and tired of her job. She failed to seize the opportunity to compensate for the boring experience through discounts, vouchers - or at least general politeness and friendliness. We are very disappointed and simply want to warn others against a similar experience by writing this review, as a friendly criticism directed at the restaurant itself, as described above, was unfortunately not taken seriously.

17/10/2025: We ate a group of 20 there on the first Saturday in October. We had ordered food in advance. They were there when we arrived. We got drinks and then delicious freshly baked bread with cheese was brought to the table, we got a generous amount of it. The food was a bit large portions but the quality was high. It was well prepared. It's not gourmet, but it's decent and honest.

03/07/2025: Good and cozy location - BUT I have to admit that the place really needs to be refreshed. Also seems to come to wrinkled "plastic" tablecloths that have been used far too many times looks a bit annoying. Maybe a piece of disposable paper could be used instead that could be changed after each party. It would be more appetizing and inviting. I think it's a shame that the building is so worn out. I think a coat of paint would do wonders. The food is good old-fashioned chrome food. Friendly and accommodating staff.

01/07/2025: Their main course is quite good, dessert is too expensive as it wasn't made properly
