24/12/2025: The seating area was extremely dirty, with spider webs everywhere. The heating system seemed to blow dust and spider web particles around, making the environment very uncomfortable. The furniture was very ugly and poorly maintained, which added to the overall unpleasant experience.
15/12/2025: Bought Matcha oat latte takeaway. Fast delivery. Tasty, not too hot when you whisk oat drink from the fridge into the tea.

21/08/2025: Delivers pizza over 30min late and will not compensate or take responsibility. Have experienced several times that Alanya pizza is unpredictable regarding their delivery time. We have shopped here for the last time when regular customers are treated that way.

13/10/2025: Looks permanently closed. What a pity.
26/09/2025: We came at opening time at 12:00 and the toilet was dirty.
Waited a long time for service from a NOT smiling man and we chose sparklers, which from the picture were two large fish fillets with fresh green asparagus and leaves.
We got one fish fillet, which filled half a toast bread and there were two asparagus from a can.
When I mention it to the owner, his answer is "it's not my fault" and says that the pictures at McDonald's don't match either.
He was numbingly indifferent that what we got and the picture they had of the menu didn't match.
We won't come again and won't recommend it to others.

13/04/2025: Bestilte et pita kl 18:35 - Leveringstid var sat til 35-45 minutter. Klokken 20:45 havde jeg stadig ikke modtaget mit mad. De fortalte en forkert kurer var kørt med min mad og de havde ikke tid til at lave et nyt pita og få det leveret. De annullerede min ordre på 155kr og tilbød mig 50kr retur og intet mad.
Værste amatørforretning i hele østjylland. De skulle nok holde sig til at arbejde ved et samlebånd på et lager. Det eneste der kunne være værre end at vente på mad der aldrig kom, det må være at der mad faktisk kom, for det kan umuligt smage bedre end hundeføde.
Hvis de kunne få minus stjerner, så fik de det. Har sat hele aftenen og ventet på mad, adskillige restauranter har lukket og nu det svært at nå at bestille noget nyt mad.
13/04/2025: Ordered a pita at 18:35 - Delivery time was set for 35-45 minutes. At 20:45 I still hadn't received my food. They said a wrong courier had driven with my food and they didn't have time to make a new pita and get it delivered. They cancelled my order of 155kr and offered me a 50kr refund and no food.
Worst amateur business in all of East Jutland. They should probably stick to working on an assembly line in a warehouse. The only thing that could be worse than waiting for food that never came would be for food to actually come, because it can't possibly taste better than dog food.
If they could get minus stars, they got it. I've been sitting all evening waiting for food, several restaurants have closed and now it's hard to order any new food.

15/08/2025: The food was superb. We ordered a variety of dishes. My Stjerneskud was truly delicious. The fish and chips for our children were a bit too much and a bit greasy. Perhaps they could swap the beer-battered cod for a plaice fillet. Otherwise, it was still very tasty. My wife really enjoyed her spaghetti carbonara. It also seemed to contain real pancetta. The boneless chicken was very well seasoned and crispy, but unfortunately a bit dry. Fortunately, there was plenty of sauce served with it. The flank steak was also really great. I don't really understand all the negative reviews. Perhaps something has changed in the kitchen, too. The service was excellent. The children were entertained with coloring pages. The only thing was that the cutlery was unfortunately forgotten, but that's overlooked. We had a lovely last evening of our vacation at Værftet Mad & Spisehus and would gladly come back.

I don't know why the reviews are negative but the food is really tasty and fresh.
The pizza is well made and has lots of toppings. The kebab also has a lot of meat and is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Well. So once again you have been lured into Lagkagehuset in Viborg – located in the middle of Meny, like an expensive little island of croissants and coffee that costs the same as half a tank of petrol.
You expect coziness, freshly baked bread and smiles – but the reality is a mixture of queues at Copenhagen prices, bread that looks more polished than a car dealership, and staff who send glances so cold that the soft ice cream in Meny freezes an extra time. You say a nice “hello” or “good weekend” – and are greeted as if you have asked if you can borrow their Netflix code.
The cakes look great, they are preserved – but it feels a bit like buying art in plaster: beautiful from a distance, but the experience is hollow. The croissant tastes as if it has traveled from Amager with DSB, and the coffee is so average that you almost miss a cheap bag of filter coffee from Netto.
And then there is the price. You leave feeling like you just bought a co-op apartment in Copenhagen, just for two buns and a latte. The environment is silently crying in the corner while you stand there chewing through a piece of bread that should be much better for that price.
Rating: 1 out of 6 cold croissants.
Thanks for nothing, Lagkagehuset Viborg. I am now both poorer, more caffeine-weary and impressed by how much you can get for so little – with such sour faces.

19/07/2025: On Wednesday of week 29, they had sold out of over half of the ice creams on the menu. This is not expected in high season.
16/07/2025: A very local place! By that I mean that there are many locals enjoying a beer or some barbecue food there. The food is classic barbecue food such as burgers and fries. The food is ok and the service is satisfactory. Just for your information: this place allows smoking indoors.

26/11/2025: Great food. The older couple works hard every day to serve everyone at very nice prices. And all the vegetables and generally the ingredients are of high quality.
Always had good food, and always went A LOT!
22/09/2025: For quick food. Good enough. Especially Thai Box, or whatever you call them.
Service poor. Long long wait. Especially when there are other customers.

13/04/2025: Member for about 40 years and was visiting today and wanted something to eat and ordered a club burger I have never had such a bad meal it was a small bun with a steak a slice of tomato and a little cucumber, a little salad for over a hundred kr simply robbery a burger is not usually a small bun but a meal and many times with fries BUT coming had never tried to make a burger which is usually a meal this has nothing to do with a BURGER

27/12/2025: Got food poisoning, sat on the toilet the rest of the day, pretty much. Tomato sauce was decent.
Barely any toppings, the bottom was thin, pepperonis were old. Middle of the city with regulars bred complacency, not the same as before.
Try other places.

24/11/2025: It's been a year since I last tried Duck It and was disappointed, but wanted to give it another shot, which turned out to be the last time!
Ordered a round of fries with duck, but AGAIN you had to look for duck on top of the fries.
I think it must be Denmark's most expensive fries 😔
85 kr for a relatively small fries, and with a little "shredded" duck on top. I don't know if I should illustrate how little duck there was, but there was almost nothing.
As mentioned, you should have another chance, but you won't be visiting me in the future.
