29/05/2025: Bought a kebab mix for 90 kr, got max 20 fries and they were completely soggy and cold. Not recommended to anyone! Disgusting food🤢

02/08/2025: Very sad and shabby place, old frayed carpets throughout the restaurant, dark and very sparsely furnished. Worn out, and the smell of food hung heavy throughout the room. We bought a Hawaiian pizza and a tray of fries. The pizza was downright awful, and even tasted strange. The fries were good. But not a place I'll come back to again another time.

For you who are on duty, You are a bad boss who does not think about his colleagues, We waited about 20 minutes just to take our order. and we had to wipe our table ourselves because he does not have time for everything. because he is alone Shame on you boss.

06/10/2025: I was at a wedding here. The rooms were nice and the bed was good. The toilets in the basement had poor ventilation, so there were leftovers in several of them...not so delicious! The food was honestly disappointing. The meat was tough, the dinner consisted of a bun with coleslaw and pulled pork without any garnish or vegetables. The staff repeatedly had no idea who should have allergy-friendly food and the allergy-friendly food consisted of gluten-free bread, which the guest could buy themselves at Rema. The castle could have gluten-free homemade pastries in the freezer and the gluten-free dessert consisted of apple porridge and a sikkerkade. It seemed as if they had forgotten to shop and had just used what they now had of leftovers. I would not recommend the place because of the food.

04/10/2025: An extremely unpleasant experience. During a party, a waiter dropped a saucer on my leather jacket, she acknowledged the mistake and asked me to send the jacket to the place. After that, an email correspondence began where the tone quickly became both condescending and arrogant. Among other things, they claimed that the jacket was old and dirty (it is 1 year old and this is the 3rd time I have worn it!) Then they insisted that I had to pick it up myself, instead of taking responsibility and providing a proper solution. The way the management has handled the matter has been unacceptable. The entire process has been characterized by an unpleasant and disrespectful approach, which has left me both disappointed and angry. I can in no way recommend staying, eating or hosting parties at Sofiendal, the treatment I have received deserves the worst reviews that can be given!

25/07/2025: Unbelievable that a place with pictures of Dirch Passer, Johnny Madsen and Kim Larsen has such incredibly bad taste in music. Have some self-respect and put on some decent music instead of Ed Sheeran and LMFAO. Three out of ten, only points due to smoking area and outdoor seating.

29/03/2025: Apart from having to pay double to drop off my jacket at the cloakroom, it's a great place. The staff is very nice and they know how to make their money.

07/03/2025: Alright so... I've gone to this place twice now. The first time I got a sandwich and it was terrible (Sloppy design and food that tasted not super great), but I chalked it up to "Maybe it was just a bad first experience, no big whoop". Today I ordered a Pad Thai and it was honest to gods the WORST Pad Thai I have ever had. I usually make my own, so I know what it should look like and taste. The noodles were beyond soggy, barely any bell peppers, the sauce was disgustingly sweet, absolutely no kick or spice of any kind, and the onions (For some reason I cannot comprehend) were cooked into the meal, if those gross looking green strands are actually onions. I always give places a second chance to do better, but it was pretty disgusting both times. Weird too when almost every other restaurant or bar in town makes better food by a sizable margin. Never going back to this place, and you probably shouldn't either.

19/04/2025: Romantisk middag. Simpelt udsøgt menukort med noget for enhver smag. Kvaliteten af råvarerne er i top. Rigtig god vinmenu og lækker øl og sodavand fra lækkert bryggeri. Sød og rart personale, der virkelig får gæsterne til at føle sig velkomne

19/01/2025: I don't really know Horsens' pizzerias, as I don't live in the city, but this is definitely the best I've had in that city. Got a salad/kebab and the distribution of fillings was quite spot on. However, I would say that the chili flakes were a bit overdone. Now I'm not the type to complain about spicy, but the pizza was completely red with chili. It tasted good, can be preserved, but a little less chili next time :)

29/09/2025: Shen Mao is simply one of the best nightclubs/bars I've visited in Aarhus! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the raw basement vibe — graffiti on the walls, DJs who can really get the dance floor going, and then the ping pong table in the back as a brilliant twist. As soon as the party starts, the atmosphere is at its highest: people are dancing, singing along, talking, playing ping pong, having a good time — all with an energy that is contagious. The staff is nice, the drinks are good (and sometimes there are good deals), and the place really manages to create something different. If you want to go out and have a night of life, fun, and something out of the ordinary, Shen Mao is the place!

21/08/2025: Delivers pizza over 30min late and will not compensate or take responsibility. Have experienced several times that Alanya pizza is unpredictable regarding their delivery time. We have shopped here for the last time when regular customers are treated that way.

14/08/2025: We have ordered from Alanya pizza many times and been satisfied, but the experience tonight makes us NEVER order food from here again! We order food on just eat at 19:50 approx. It says we will deliver the food at 21:48 but on Alanya's opening hours they are supposed to close at 21:00. Of course we are a little confused about the above mentioned delivery time, so I call the pizzeria. The first 2 calls I make, they hang up, the 3rd time the call is answered. I ask about the delivery time, to which they reply that there has been a special arrangement that makes them have extended their opening hours but that they have also extended the delivery time and that if we have the opportunity to pick up the food ourselves it can be ready immediately otherwise it will be delivered at 21:45 at the earliest. We say we are fine with the late delivery time and Alanya pizza says it is okay. I called them at 8:45 PM. At 8:51 PM I get a text message from just eat that Alanya has canceled my order. I've tried contacting them many times after, some of the calls they hang up and some they don't answer the phone... It's one thing to cancel an order 1 hour after it's been ordered, so it's so late that nothing else is open. But lying to your customers like that is beyond rude and, excuse my language, lousy I'm speechless.

10/07/2025: There's no better place in town. Whether you pick it up yourself or have it delivered... it's always a hit! Nice people, good food, decent prices.

11/09/2025: The food is good but the price is not transparent at all. They just look at the plate and name a random price but it’s still considered a deal in Denmark.

11/08/2025: WARNING: The place is permanently closed! They are still taking orders and taking payment, but you will not get any pizza.
