11/06/2025: Often ordered over Wolt, but we just took a spontaneous trip to Ana Pizza on a Friday night. Very romantic to have it all to ourselves. We got a discount on the pizza and they make a good half grilled chicken. It was quick and the service was impeccable. I think the pizza dough stands out from other places because it has a bit of sweetness to it, which I'm totally into. Not that it tastes "sweet", but there's just something special about the dough

28/06/2025: Wow, I decide to walk by just to grab a beer and see. How this place is, I have not been using Horsens in 10+ years which I realise have been a mistake. The beer selection here is above what I have tried in any other places I have been the last couple of years. I did not try the food, but it looked close to perfect and the amount of board games were also seemed on point. It can get a bit loud but this were a Saturday night. Not sure if the place offers more silent rooms but even with out I would rate it 5 stars.

18/06/2025: We had booked a table for 6:30 PM today to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately the evening did not go as expected at all – at least not in our opinion. We arrived about 5 minutes early and stood waiting for a table, which we did for almost 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes, we decided to go out into the courtyard, as we had booked a table outside. Here we waited another 25 minutes before a waiter had time to come with 4 menus. We figured out what we wanted to eat and drink, and waited another 15 minutes before a waiter could take our order. After about 15 minutes, the waiter came with drinks, which had become so warm that the beer was lukewarm and the ice cubes in the glass had melted. The waiter asked if anyone wanted water with their food, and one person said yes, but 4 waters were still added to the bill. The food was ok, but overall it wasn't what we expected for the prices on the menu. I will add, however, that the young people who served us were nice, and it seemed like they were doing their best to keep up.

23/07/2025: Vi var 4 voksne der valgte at besøge Skovbakken en torsdag i juli... det har vi bestemt ikke fortrudt :) man bliver taget godt imod af behagelige tjenere der kan deres fag, både forret og hovedret samt dessert var fuldt tilfredsstillende. Vi siger tak for god betjening samt god mad og vil bestemt komme igen :)

18/05/2025: Went to my cousins' confirmation, they had chosen the confirmation menu. Good salmon for starter, however the "shrimp cocktail" was just sliced ​​iceberg lettuce on a plate next to some shrimp with dressing on the side and I don't know how you can make such bad tartlets, it was more like brown sauce with asparagus and chicken in a cold tartlet shell. For the main course the meat was not properly cooked and the oven baked potatoes were not enough, the cream potatoes were also dry. Otherwise nice dessert (which was just bought pancakes with vanilla ice cream and jam and an ice cream cake, so it would be hard to do wrong when you just buy something at the local supermarket and it is on a plate or in a bowl). Finding out that the envelope price was 840kr is unbelievably expensive for the quality. The service from the staff was fine

10/05/2025: Cozy place with very service-minded staff who were prepared for the fact that one of us is a wheelchair user. We were therefore already met outside the restaurant by the waiter, who indicated access via the lift! The place at the table was also prepared! PERFECT SERVICE! The food was extremely well prepared and at reasonable prices!

14/05/2025: Visiting from New York -This place is such a jewel,- Location is spectacular on the walking Street and it offers true Danish hygge ,- Quality is top-notch served in beautiful classic royal Copenhagen China , but still most noteworthy is the founder and owner, barista himself -Who magically has the ability to make every single person feel special and share a little story and smile with you….. Please visit if you are in town

17/06/2025: Went out to dinner with the wife, food was excelent. They had an English menu which was helpful. The staff said they were a bit low on staff so things might take a bit longer, but we didn't really notice this, the staff that was there did their best and was notably competent.

10/06/2025: We went in last night to eat, after a fantastic royal run. And were looking forward to a good sirloin steak. We ordered a pepper steak, and a sirloin steak. We have rarely been so disappointed, the steaks were gray and boring inside, even though one was ordered medium, and the other medium rare. We pointed it out when the waiter came and asked if everything was as it should be. And no, it wasn't, but since the steak wasn't diced tough, there was nothing she could do. We pointed it out again when the waiter took the plates, and I showed the many lumps of fat and tendons that were in the last half of my steak. And she wanted to show that to the chef! There was no feedback on that either, and when we paid, and were asked again if everything had been as it should be, and again had to answer no, the waiter said she was sorry, but no reduction in the price, or apology. Oksen used to be a great steakhouse, but this was the second time this year we've had bad meat/service there. So that was the last time.
