12/11/2024: Resturant smagshuset in Brande must have tested their steak sandwich with sauce today. Arrived a little after 12 and was received super well and shown to our table. Ordered the food at exactly 12.00 and it was served at our place exactly at 12.21, which is fine production time for home-cooked food. The food is nicely arranged on the plate and looks appetizing and inviting, but I just have to think remove the onion rings and that there is not much sauce. (Both parts I'm right about) The bun is a delicious sesame bun, I think, and it tastes great as it should. The top and bottom of the bun are smeared with some dressing that tastes great and is too old fashioned homemade. In the steak sandwich there is a tasty onion compote which tastes really good and is finely balanced in terms of quantity. The steak is an approx. 180-200 gram bandit which is really tasty with a beautiful and delicious roast crust and is fried medium (I would have preferred to see pink but ok) The meat had to be local and from some free-range cows and I was a little surprised that the fat percentage is only 10% for the meat was really good as in fantastic. Beetroot and cucumber salad were also in a special class and you could easily taste that everything was home-pickled, the pickles here hit the spot, well done. The sauce is a brown sauce with mushrooms and herbs, it tastes quite good without being excellent and you can clearly taste the slightly sweet mushrooms, the wife thought the sauce was superb and I am a little more subdued and could perhaps wish for a slightly stronger sauce, but it is good. However, I have said in many reviews that you shouldn't skimp on the sauce, and there wasn't much here, unfortunately. The onion rings were ok, but I didn't think they should be part of the dish, and you should increase the amount of sauce. But everything is made from scratch with love, it tastes great and this steak sandwich from Resturant smagshuset belongs to the high end and at a price of DKK. 150.- it gets 5 out of 5 stars and the beautiful restaurant is definitely worth a visit and really thought people should try to taste this dish..

14/10/2024: A very cozy and very special feeling to sit under the bottom of a cutter and watch the frames because the deck has been removed so that the cutter forms a roof over the "restaurant"! The dining card includes both fish dishes and steaks. The chosen "star shot" was well prepared with pan-fried flatfish, served with a cold draft beer that completes the experience!

08/11/2024: A cozy dining house. We were invited to the buffet. There was a fine and varied selection, with both Danish, Italian and Iranian food. Our 9-year-old son would like to give the place 4.5 stars, and he is otherwise a picky eater.

23/10/2024: We won the September menu, which was absolutely tip/top. Tonight on our wedding day, 23.10.24, we tasted the October menu, which was absolutely just as good. We are never disappointed when we eat at Skovbakken. Superb food, superb service and wonderful experiences. Try it! We will come again soon.

20/10/2024: Was a guest at an otherwise lovely party. The food was delicious and well prepared. However, the wines could be better matched. Especially the dessert wine was not the best choice.

15/10/2024: Review of What the Fish - Fantastic Service and Delicious Sushi Last night I visited What the Fish to buy sushi and ordered a Box4. From the moment I walked in, I experienced amazing service. The staff were friendly and welcoming and everything seemed professional and well organized. Unfortunately, an unfortunate situation occurred when I was on my way out the door - I dropped my entire order on the floor. I immediately went back and explained what had happened and asked if they could make me a new box, which of course I was willing to pay for. Much to my surprise and delight, the staff said I didn't have to pay for the new box. They quickly made a new order for me and I was able to leave again with freshly made sushi in hand. It is rare to experience such good service today, where employees go out of their way to ensure that customers are satisfied. This experience really shows that What the Fish not only delivers delicious sushi, but also places a high priority on their customers' experience. I have great respect for the service I received and can highly recommend the place to anyone who appreciates both good food and great customer service. 5/5 stars - I will definitely be back!

21/09/2024: Do you know when you come across an experience that is so good that you lack words to describe it? This is how I feel after a wonderful evening at Vilhelmsborg Kro. The food was indescribably beautiful, both to see, smell and taste. It all came together into a higher unity. The service was also 110% fine! It might sound like I'm exaggerating, and I'd probably be skeptical too if I read such a review, but do yourself the favor of booking a table and giving it a try...

28/08/2024: I was a little skeptical - we have visited Vilhelmsborg kro several times over the years. For birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, etc. So I knew what to expect. But the last one was different and pleasantly surprised! I was very impressed with the green starter and the tasty schnitzel. And a huge plus is that you can get a completely vegan menu 👏🏻

04/10/2024: This little pizzeria is a real insider tip! Away from the tourist crowds in Copenhagen, you can find the best pizzas in the city here. The dough is perfectly crispy and the fresh ingredients make every bite a delight. We particularly recommend the pizza with fresh basil and mozzarella – simply heavenly! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxing evening. You immediately feel at home when you enter the small, rustic room. The owners are super friendly and have a real passion for their craft. You can immediately tell that they attach great importance to quality. There is also a great selection of local drinks that go perfectly with the pizzas. The prices are more than fair, especially for the high quality you get here. If you are in Copenhagen, you should definitely stop by this pizzeria. It is easy to reach and offers a welcome change from the tourist hotspots. A wonderful place to enjoy good food and experience the relaxed atmosphere! An absolute must for every pizza lover!
