26/05/2026: Arriving here after a long drive through 3 countries feels like entering a little piece of heaven ❤️ The staff, the atmosphere, the welcoming feeling and the rooms -its all wonderful! And not to forget the food and the charming guys in the restaurant 🫶 So sad to only spend 1 night, but we will come back for a longer stay.

28/09/2026: Hidden away in a courtyard, you’ll find this wonderful little café. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. What I really loved is that you can actually see the coffee bean production in the background, which makes the whole experience feel even more special. You can also buy pretty much everything you need for great coffee at home — from coffee beans to all kinds of gadgets and accessories for a portafilter machine. The atmosphere is slightly rustic, cozy, and very inviting. And the coffee… ☕️ I had a cappuccino, and this is definitely a coffee you should sit down and enjoy. It was incredibly chocolatey and aromatic — by the second sip, I already felt like I had entered a whole new world of coffee. A beautiful little spot for anyone who appreciates great coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and a unique experience. Absolutely worth a visit!

24/09/2026: I will recomend it to those who are hard core coffee lovers becase it is very good. Apart from that there is nothing to do there. Feeling was uncomfortable and only two women with a child were present talking about their kids. As a tourist who is in the city for 3 days, it didn't serve much because I wanted to experience Aarhiusians social life.

17/08/2026: We had a really lovely evening here yesterday. As it was Sunday we had Omakase - where the chefs decide on what they are cooking. We both loved all the different dishes and, as it's Asian fusion, we really enjoyed how varied they were. Our favourite dishes included sashimi salmon with mango, the duck gyoza and the fabulous chicken with corn "ribs" and sushi rice risotto. I have several food intolerances and they were really well catered for. Staff were all extremely warm and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and cheerful. Particular thanks to Malthe who was really great!

27/09/2026: The tourists have left town; and so has the food quality at Støvlen. Wow, what a shameful experience - and there is no respect left in your kitchen for the food you make. Caesar salad - Burnt old chicken that was fried on a day that wasn't this week; cut into thick slices, and then pan-fried further (Who the hell came up with double-fried chicken and thought "wow; that's a good idea!"); the croutons were coal-black and full of burnt black oil and even the bacon was burnt off.. Talk about "I hate my job" if you can't make bacon? (Hint: 220 degrees for 12 min. hot air) Shooting star - like a real star it had fallen to the ground with meteor speed and now lay in a crater of tasteless fish and smoked salmon that smelled strange. In addition to the fact that it is build-your-own shooting star, the main star had stayed home - there were no elements in this dish that were just a little spoiled..; the different types of fish were really a boring experience and one fish tasted more self-dead than the next - you would think it was a long way to the water from Støvlen; because wow that fish was of the same quality as a Filet-o-fish and nothing on the plate was tasted and nothing has seen the shadow of salt but absolutely not a loving hand of a chef with respect for his profession.. I don't understand how you can go to work and not bother to cook; but still work in a kitchen - there is no doubt that there is *no* one who has cooked our food today who bothered to spend time being where they were - then maybe you should stay home and let youth work take over or maybe just resell the Føtex canteen's food at an affordable price; because this was damn embarrassing and disrespectful to the double-fried-chicken and stone-dead-fish. Are you crazy it was a disappointing experience and those who were at work today for lunch should be damn ashamed.

24/09/2026: Varna is a sure success - always. Lovely large well-set tables, comfortable chairs, and service and fantastic food. Very professional and knowledgeable waiters. Always a lovely experience. I have been visiting Varna regularly for almost 10 years, mostly on Friday nights. Yes, it costs... (approx. 1400 kr for a menu with wine) On the other hand, it is a good long evening at Varna with well-made coffee at the end.

12/09/2026: Iconic place in Aarhus. I think they are really aimed at larger private events, but their restaurant has regular evening events with a gourmet menu and accompanying wine menu. It is really value for money. The food is top notch and the wine is quite reasonable.

26/09/2026: Really cozy place. Incredibly friendly and sympathetic service. Lots of delicious little cakes, and top-class tea. In addition, the toilet is decorated with flowers. It's not often I experience such a charming atmosphere in such a room. 😉

30/09/2026: What a place – and what amazing service! 😄 Our three children were absolutely delighted, and the owner was incredibly friendly and generous. He really made sure that both the kids and the adults left happy and well fed! But the highlight of the evening came when he noticed that we had a caravan. He became genuinely concerned about whether we would manage to get through the very narrow one-way street past the place. 😂 We decided to give it a try… We made it – with about 3 mm to spare! 😅🚐 Great food, fantastic service, and a little caravan adventure included for free. Highly recommended – but if you arrive with a caravan, fold in your mirrors and hold your breath! 😂 Thank you so much from all of us – especially from three very happy children! 👏

11/09/2026: Wonderful and DELICIOUS pizzeria in Aarhus. I went there 3 times with my girlfriend and Prins Pizza was amazing each time ! We took the vegetarian pizza every time. What makes it so good is the crust, really amazingly well-cooked. It's located near a park and canal which makes it perfect to go chill and enjoy your pizza there on a sunny day. The owner was so nice and friendly as well. I fully recommend that you try Prins Pizza if you come to Aarhus ! 🍕
