29/12/2025: For a small restaurant, it was quite busy. It reminded me a bit of a small kebab shop in Germany. The selection was good, the portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the two girls were very friendly. Since I don't speak Danish and they don't speak German, we were able to communicate in English. Everything was great, I'd gladly go again.

15/12/2025: I'm disappointed! I've never had a worse shawarma. I was going to have some food on Friday night with my friends, where we were served by an employee with a terrible attitude. There was almost no meat in my roll, so the only thing you could taste was the salad and dressing. Not only was the food bad, but the price was also 85kr. I had high expectations, but was met with poor service and poor food. First and last time I eat at Shawarma Bar…

13/12/2025: I was there on a Friday night and have never experienced anything worse. The man who was cutting their mediocre meat was angry and very negative. He commented on what we were talking about and said that we were not allowed to say those things because it was “inappropriate”, even though there was no one else sitting inside eating besides us. Just when you would think that his bad mood and vile presence were enough, he suddenly decides to give me and my friends the worst durum I have had in a very long time. Their meat was practically absent from my roll, and you might as well go to a salad bar for stingy vegans instead of their piss. Very sad that your trip home could end so sadly because of a grumpy little man who can’t cook. That was the first and last time I set foot in their salad bar! if you could give them 0 stars and a study tour around Denmark so they can learn what it’s like to be a decent person, they would have gotten it!

23/08/2025: Lovely experience with lunch as part of a birthday party. Delicious starter, ok main course and delicious dessert. The main course was tenderloin/chopped young rooster. The tenderloin was tender and cooked to perfection. Red wine sauce. More standard performance than starter and dessert. All in all, a delicious lunch and service that matched the good level of the place. I would like to eat here again :)

02/09/2025: Cozy little wine bar in Herning. Gives vibes of small local bars in Copenhagen and Aarhus, and really something we should get more of in Herning. There is the option to get some food to go with the wine too, and the staff are good at advising on which wine suits your taste.

28/06/2025: Update: visited here again tonight, and once again it was a first-class experience!!!! Fantastic wine bar! 🍷 Here you don't just get good wine, but a real experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine — they can tell the stories behind each bottle and guide you safely through both classics and exciting new releases. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and you feel welcome from the first moment. An obvious place for both wine lovers and people who just want a good evening with top-class service.

20/08/2025: I've eaten here a few times and am quite satisfied. The only reason the atmosphere doesn't get more stars is that it's often a bit too empty at lunch, unfortunately.

30/12/2025: We visited Saray Kebab in Aarhus today with my family. We have previously enjoyed the restaurant and have often eaten there when we have been to Aarhus. Unfortunately, the place has changed significantly for the worse. The service was unprofessional, as one employee ignored us and instead talked to other guests, after which another was sent to our table. The atmosphere was uneasy and more reminiscent of a gathering place than a restaurant. The prices were high and did not match the quality at all. The food was partially burnt and had a strange taste. The experience was disappointing, and we will not be back.

26/12/2025: Dinner arrived in the evening, the other two people's food arrived very late, the food arrived but the bread didn't, then the bread arrived but the appetizers didn't.

12/01/2026: The undersigned had lunch with my wife at your place on Tuesday the 6th. I chose an avocado toast a la Benedict with avocado and salmon and my wife your bouillabaisse. Both dishes were a huge disappointment. My wife's bouillabaisse looked and tasted like brown sauce and was filled with carrot slices and two small pieces of white fish and a small dry piece of salmon. My dish was a messy show with very little avocado and salmon and was piled high with sauce. We complained several times to the waiter and he wanted to tell the kitchen. Nothing came of it. We also got a dessert and there was nothing wrong with it. We also observed 2 other guests sitting there whose food was sent out and a little later 2 new plates came in, so there were obviously problems there too. We were also told that the head chef was not at work that day When we went and paid over 700 kr we were very disappointed We hope to get compensation for the bad food we were served Regards Søren Kaae

09/01/2026: Super nice. Had lunch with a couple of glasses of wine and everything was good. Real cafe with good atmosphere and nice service. The chef even came down to ask if we were satisfied
