23/09/2026: Visiting Aarhus from the USA, found this cozy little restaurant as I was walking around the city. I made a great choice. I tried almost the entire menu and every single dish was EXCELLENT! Incredible wine selection, friendly service and picturesque atmosphere. The lasagna was the best I have ever had, I am so glad I stumbled upon this absolute gem! Also not to mention it was the cheapest meal I’ve had in Denmark, the best quality at a great price!

08/09/2026: It took more than 30 mins to get one falafel wrap. Unfortunately, the cabbage was too hard and thick. I think those hard part had to be cut and thrown away.

07/09/2026: Very tasty zataar. One of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Pretty much nothing to add, it speaks for itself.

25/09/2026: Quality food, excellent service, & average dish sizes. I often return here, or get takeaway pizza. Booking a table is recommended.

23/08/2026: I had dinner with my Italian family in this place and it really seemed to be in Italy, just with a Scandinavian touch. The food was really good, it is highly recommended :)

12/07/2026: A gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent - with the starters edging it in terms of creativity and taste (but the mains and seasonal dessert were also delicious). Great wine collection, and even better to have some candid views from the staff as to what wines will actually pair well with the dishes. Also accommodated our infant daughter and made her feel part of the experience. Highly deserving of Michelin recognition.

17/06/2026: What an amazing experience! Everything was perfect in Pondus. The food, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The food was next level - the hand chopped tartare with kimchi was a perfect combination and a one I will not forget. 5/5, I definitely recommend it.

17/10/2026: We visited Restaurant Lotus and had a somewhat mixed, but ultimately good experience. My wife and daughter had duck with rice, and it was really, really delicious – crispy, tasty and definitely the highlight of the evening! I had beef with fried egg noodles. My dish was excellent, but unfortunately a bit cold and lacking a bit of flavor compared to the duck dish. Unfortunately, the wait was on the long side. It took about an hour before we got our food, which feels a bit much for Asian food. The service was also in between. All in all, 4 stars is perhaps on the high end in terms of waiting time and my own dish, but the fantastic duck makes up for it all in a really good overall experience.

21/08/2026: The café is located right in the heart of Ebeltoft's town center and offers a wide variety of options, making it a great place to stop by for various reasons. Whether it's for coffee, a casual lunch, or treats like ice cream and soft serve. We noticed a sign advertising soft serve with various toppings. So we treated ourselves to a cup with Biscoff cream and crumbs and enjoyed it by the sea. The ice cream was really delicious and a lovely little treat to take with us.

20/08/2026: A very nice, cozy café. Everything on offer is highly recommended: cakes, ice cream, coffee, excellent freshly prepared salads, burgers, and fish dishes. Very friendly service. Always our first stop when we come to Ebeltoft.

02/10/2026: Super cozy place, good service from Nikolaj, delicious food - and plenty of it - at fair prices. We will definitely come back.

19/09/2026: Nice atmosphere but unfortunately confused staff who forgot their customers on the go. Got the tasteless food after 50 min, they forgot bread and we were missing cutlery. They didn't pay attention to details. Had to pay 19,- for a glass of water 😅 probably won't come again.

04/10/2026: The food tasted great, but I missed a little more spice to get an even more authentic Thai experience. This could be solved, for example, with chili on the tables, so you have the opportunity to adjust the strength to taste. In addition, I think that 35 kr. for a fried egg as an accompaniment to your dish is just on the expensive side. But all in all it was a really good experience with friendly staff, tasty food and a cozy atmosphere. 😊

04/10/2026: Lovely evening at Flammen, the staff were friendly and took good care of our children. When I ordered a hot cocoa I even got 2 chocolates, so there was one for each child.
