11/05/2025: Really good food - it tasted absolutely fantastic! The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked and the fries crispy and tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere could have been a little cozier, but all in all a great experience. Can be highly recommended

26/05/2025: Very cozy and quaint with friendly animals, but the food leaves a lot to be desired considering the price. It's reminiscent of fast food. One more thing: They don't serve a side of fries, but they do have a kids' menu of chicken nuggets with fries. Why not offer the same for adults? Or just a large side of fries? It seems to me like they're desperate to make money without considering a good selection. What a shame...

04/05/2025: Great, rustic atmosphere in the shop and in the café. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, mixed range of goods that invite you to browse. Very tasty cakes and Flødeboller. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

03/05/2025: THE FOOD TRAVELLER REVIEW Tried the traditional crispy pork. The pork is fried till crispy and nice to eat. But just quite salty for me though. You can also choose to dine on your own boat, indoor or outdoor.

25/04/2025: Today it will be Resturant Aalekroen by Silkeborg (Svejbæk) that will have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. Arrived at 12pm and was immediately shown to a table by the nice waiter. The food was ordered exactly 12.08 as usual steak sandwich with sauce, I think we are on steak sandwich number 70 in 1 1/2 years, 70 different places 🇩🇰. The food was served at the table at exactly 12.25 and the first impression is that it looks delicious and inviting on a slightly boring-looking plate. The bun is a delicious brioche bun at the better end and it is just toasted so that it is both crispy and soft, delicious. The under bun is coated in a delicious, yes very delicious homemade remoulade where you can clearly see small cauliflower and carrot. The remoulade is sweet and flavorful. The top bun is smeared in a delicious sweet/sour mustard, certainly also homemade and somewhat reminiscent of a ravagotti mustard. It is finely tuned and tastes great. The steak is really beautiful, it's a whole 200 grams, I think, and it's fried perfectly where it's pink in the middle and with a delicious roast crust. It is perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper and the meat is really tasty. We find onions in many shades. Soft sweet onions, sour home-pickled red onions which tasted wonderful, finely chopped raw red onions and homemade roasted onions. In addition, there were home-pickled beetroots that tasted like the birds were singing, they had a bite to them and they were pickled sweet and not sour as you often see, it was great to try something different. The home-pickled cucumber salad was perhaps the weak point, the slices were both thick and thin, the thick slices were good with a nice crunch, the thin ones were indifferent and a bit watery, they could have drawn a little more in the layer, but have tried worse. There was a good amount of the sauce and it was a kind of cloudy sauce that tasted great, just when you got it in your mouth it was a bit neutral, but after a few seconds and down your throat it grows on you to become strong and tasty. It is a super composition that has been made here and every element is tasteful. NOK 199.- for this bandit is not exorbitant and it clearly belongs in the top 10 of all the sample tastings we have had, if not even the top 7. We will come again, clear recommendation. 5 out of 5 steak sandwiches.

27/05/2025: One word: Overpriced. Drinks are a chapter in themselves in that regard, but I bought a ribeye steak (because they again didn't have any of the other dishes on the menu). It cost 265 kr., took almost 40 min. to make, and you got fries, nothing else. Not so much as a little salad or at least sauce/dip for the fries. A dry meal - and for that price you can expect a homemade bearnaise or similar. On the other hand, the constantly monitoring waiter-vultures are there quickly to ask if you want something more to drink when you have 1/3 left in the glass. Cozy.

10/05/2025: The most beautiful place to hang out in Randers for a beer, a drink or just because... Food is not served here, but you can bring your own.
