12/10/2025: The acoustics are really bad, we were a table of 3 who had difficulty hearing each other. And when the wait for our orders took a really long time, it quickly became tiring. Overall an okay dinner. But you were in doubt several times whether you would get what you had ordered, as it came very scattered, if you had now written that the food would come continuously then it was more manageable. But we sat several times and were in doubt whether we would get our food at all. Even for dessert, only half of our desserts could come together. The rest we had to “order” again to get the rest. The service was nice and polite when we arrived, after that it became very indifferent, we as guests were just there. In until we had to pay and leave

13/09/2025: A really lovely and authentic restaurant experience. Fantastically tasty Italian food, skilled and service-minded staff and reasonable prices. I can definitely recommend Amoroma if you want an authentic Italian food experience in the heart of Aarhus.

05/09/2025: By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. When you walk in, you think it might be an okay evening, but then you are greeted by a rather incompetent male waiter who doesn't know how to provide even a passing service. Well, the starter arrives in an acceptable time and is nice enough. You then wait 1 hour for the main course, but it is almost not worth mentioning, it was a terrible experience. We then wait another hour for the dessert, which surprisingly, was completely acceptable. But the absolutely terrible service is still in my head as I write this review, which I find necessary to write because I don't want to recommend being cheated like we were. In advance, enjoy.

15/09/2025: Perfect for takeout. For a comfortable meal in a restaurant, you seem to be dependent on the service's mood on the day; in our case, they were rather unenthusiastic and irritating. 😵‍💫

16/09/2025: The pizzas were a dream! I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza. The bases were perfectly baked and the toppings were very generous. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. One small drawback: in Denmark, which is very cashless, cashless payment is unfortunately only possible via MobilePay, which is not available to foreign tourists. However, since the customers are certainly predominantly Danish, this is perfectly acceptable to us and won't deduct any points for it. So, to the non-Danish tourists: don't forget your cash! 😉 We don't understand why this pizzeria only has 3.8 stars here. It definitely deserves a 5 out of 5.

10/09/2025: A superb shop, run by wonderful people. Full of gift ideas for all budgets. At the back, there's a small café where you can also get something to eat... and a splendid terrace. This place is truly impeccable.

08/07/2025: Aaarrrr, Sunset Boulevard has always had a bit of a role as the “nice boy of fast food”. You go there when you don’t feel like McD, but you’re not ready to sit down and wait for a plate with decorations and a napkin either. And honestly: the burger at least looks like something that could remind you of a real burger, and the menu tries to speak a little nicely to both your stomach and your conscience. But... something has happened the last few times I’ve been there. And it’s not good. The burger, which was once hot and a little juicy, has developed into a lukewarm assembly-line sadness, where the steak seems like it came straight from a disassembled microwave. The chili cheese tops – yes, they should be called something else now. Maybe “small hot lumps with the consistency of sealant”? They’re not too hot. And the consistency – you should almost report that to someone. And then there’s the staff. I don't know if there's been an accident with a portal to another dimension, where all the young people have been sucked in and forced to serve food as hostages – but the atmosphere behind the counter is anything but bubbly. It honestly seems like they'd rather be anywhere else. A smile, a little eye contact or just the illusion of enthusiasm would actually make a world of difference. Sunset Boulevard in Sankt Mathias Centret can do something. It's been better. But it feels a bit like they've gone on a mental vacation, and now they just hope no one notices. There are plenty of easy points to be gained – just a little warmth, a little smile and a little more love for those poor chili cheese tops. Until then? Well, you'll be full. But you won't be really happy.
