30/08/2025: The driest burgers I've ever had. I even pointed out to him that they would be dry if he didn't compensate with dressing. It's not rocket science. If you remove the relish and burger dressing, you'll need to use more of it after asking.

17/08/2025: Great location with a nice view. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special and a bit expensive.

13/01/2026: Hotel Mayor. Lovely hotel in the middle of Aarhus. Easy parking. Standard rooms are fine, there is what should be nice and clean. Nice bathrooms with a lovely shower with plenty of hot water. 🤭😉 Great reception with nice service. Breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing.. it was what it should be.. but nothing more.. when you consider they had a chef employed to make it… it has been seen better in other hotels with less stars. But all in all a good hotel. 😉

19/11/2025: Beautiful and newly renovated hotel right in the heart of Aarhus. View of the City Hall. Great atmosphere and mix of new with old details.

20/12/2025: Beware of this restaurant! The buffet looks okay at first glance, but the food is definitely old and being reused. We also watched the waiters topping the pizzas without washing their hands, repeatedly removing and reapplying toppings. The owner wasn't any better – he was playing on his phone while making pizzas, rubbing his nose with his thumb and forefinger, and then throwing something onto the table in front of him. The very table where the pizzas were being made! We had diarrhea that evening, and two of us vomited. The health department should be called in – never again! It was truly awful.

13/08/2025: We were just there. They had pizza and fries. Both were amazing. The fries were fresh and perfectly cut. Well salted. The pizza dough was homemade. The crust was super thin and crispy. Despite the generous toppings, the crust held its shape. If our next vacation in Denmark brings us near here, we'll definitely come back for pizza.

30/11/2025: Food is really nice, big portions and meat is not overdry. There is a Christmas decoration and child chair. However, the tables and the floor are dirty and we were waiting for our meal about 15 mins...

05/10/2025: I have paid for a double pan pizza and i get a normal one, and this just bacause i don t speak Danish or Arabic language. These muslim guy always will try to scam you if you are not danish/arabic

14/01/2026: A really good durum roll, good size and yes, just really good! Beef on a stick 😄 that's the thing!

09/01/2026: It used to be the best falafel roll in town - then was very disappointed to find out they no longer make freshly made falafels, but instead use pre-made ones. Wow, what a boring and dry experience - saved a bit by the delicious bread though.

29/10/2025: If the bartender hadn't been lazy and clumsy, it would probably have been top marks, but when a customer asks for a glass of wine and other customers have it/get it, it's clumsy to refuse, especially at those prices.

26/08/2025: A golf course built in the middle of a holiday region, a human eyesore and no habitat for animals: valuable nature destroyed! Unfriendly golfers spoke to me in German even though we were in Denmark!

12/06/2025: Would strongly advise against this place. You have to look for arrogance and bad service for a long time. We are a company of 15 people who book rooms and food. The first night in the restaurant, there are no more bottles of the wine that is on the menu. The excuse is that they are not on the summer menu yet ... in mid-June !!!. We are not allowed to sit at the bar and order, as there is company coming. Nor are we allowed to sit outside. The next day is even worse. Here again we are asked to leave the bar as another company is coming. Again we are refused outside service. We eat out in the city and come back and want to use the cellar. Again we are told that we cannot, as it is rented out. We ask for other service or outside service. But no. We tell them that we are actually staying overnight. With an arrogant answer from the owner/manager.. yes I know that.. but you can't get anything. The company has thrown away over 50,000 kr in 3 days and is then given miserable treatment. Everyone... stay far away from that "hotel".

25/06/2025: The food is terrible the bun was all burnt with no taste at all the potatoes were overcooked, high prices terrible quality

10/09/2025: Needed my morning coffee at 7:00 AM along with the buttered rolls before the long drive, but no one had the sense to get the machine to brew.

14/08/2025: Why don't you answer the phone at 8:45 PM, a full 15 minutes before you close?? That's too bad!!

09/08/2025: It says online that it closes at 10:30 PM on a Saturday but it wasn't open at 10:00 PM

06/09/2025: Been a few times, ok for a beer. Had a cocktail the other night, it didn't really taste of anything, and they use some pre-mixed draft alcohol as the base (apparently it has a bunch of spirits in it?) Avoid, feels like some watering down exercise.

23/10/2025: 3-day stay at Samsø Badehotel. Good location, delicious food and super friendly staff.

11/07/2025: Beautiful is something else the grass was at least a meter high by the tents there was junk lying around everywhere
