08/12/2024: It's a pub, in short. It used to be a butcher, which you can see from the decoration. It is far too small, and quickly filled up with people who make you feel cramped. If you want to visit the place, it must be done very soon after it opens, especially if you want a seat.

18/09/2024: Nostalgic experience. Despite a make-over, several of the things remind me of exactly how it was in legelandet.dk when I was a child myself (born 1998). It's nice. But at the same time, I expected there to be more new things. Something still seems worn and not up-to-date, including justdance and an older wii machine testify to how time has long stood still in legelandet.dk, without being at the retro-classic level (especially if compared to the newly arrived legelandet). However, it worked great for my almost 2-year-old. But it is hard to see the value of the place for older children. All in all, a nice place with nice staff. A huge plus is that you can bring your own food, after all, we haven't experienced that with the competitors. We didn't experience queues either.

23/02/2025: Disappointing experience. There was a couple in the restaurant when we arrived, so a total of 2 tables full. Still, 20 minutes passed. until a servant came down to us. The waiters (the two we had) could not answer questions about the dishes and what we were served. We ordered snacks, a starter and a main course. 30+ min went by. before the snacks arrived. Another 30 min. before the starter came and the same before the main course came. I got a "creamy fish soup". However, it was by no means creamy, as the soup was thin like milk. There were remains of shells on some of the shellfish and in one of the prawns the intestine was there. The soup was far too salty and mostly just tasted like water with a little milk and broth, with far too much salt. For the main course I had the last T-Bone the restaurant had (we had a table at 5pm). I wasn't asked how it should be fried and the steak was thin and disappointing. We were not asked about the food by a waiter (we then approached ourselves). My husband's starter was tasteless, main course OK though. They didn't have half the food on their menu nor the wine. The restaurant was comfortably furnished, but it was draughting in from the windows, so you sat and froze and got cold. The prices were way too high for what you get served. And again, they didn't have the dishes from half the menu. It was difficult to get in touch with the waiters, so we also had to get up and went up to the bar to get the bill. We will not be coming back and will in no way recommend this place to others!

04/04/2025: Get a wonderful and well-prepared lunch steak and then take your own soft ice cream.

27/03/2025: Every DK holiday we also visit Jensens Bøfhus because we love the burgers. We have already been to Ejsbjerg, Herning, Århus, Kolding and yesterday to Holstebro. It was again very tasty. Since there is an offer for burgers at the moment, we saved a lot. Each burger with fries for 99 kr. We'll be back on our next vacation.

23/08/2024: Fantastic story and we could read and see åkjær's personal things, and his wife Nanna. We visited his tombstone in the forest. Can recommend a visit.
