08/06/2026: Delicious food! We got lunch portions and a couple of starters to share, it was the perfect amount of food. We also had excellent service, courtesy of Astrid. Astrid checked in with us, made sure everything was as we wanted it, and was very friendly and kind.

22/12/2025: First time here. We were greeted by a young man who told us that the concept was a little different with good food and lounge music. That's what we were told the concept is. What is it? I never really figured that out. Good food and lounge music, is that a concept?

21/12/2025: Restaurant tender. Steak House We had a 3 course menu. The food tasted good, it was a stark house experience. Not so much a gourmet experience over that The starter was grilled cauliflower with some sour counterpoint to it. 👍 The main course was a 300 gram ribeye steak. It was grilled perfectly👍 The red wine sauce is recommended and their fries were lovely and crispy 👍 The tenderness of the steak could have been more tender. But it's not always easy to have the same quality all the time. Maybe I was a little unlucky🤔 But you have to buy a side dish for your steak, so the price is somewhat higher when choosing a 3 course menu. A bit bad to use that trick on customers 👎 The dessert was a creme brulee which tasted super good. And beautifully presented 👍 Wine selection: They have very delicious wine within the expensive end👍 we bought wine for 550 from Rioja Reserva which tasted super good 👍 And avan for 670kr from ribera del duero it was a bit tame not exactly what I expected from that wine area 🤔 The waiters gave good service👍 it was a good experience. There was a good atmosphere and they enjoyed their work 👍 You sit really well in their chairs and the acoustics are top notch 👍 It was very clean and neat. Clearly they put a lot of effort into cleaning here 👍 Parking was at Brunsgalerie which was right next door. The price is on the expensive end. But the rent is expensive at this address and there were plenty of waiters to provide good service, so totally fair 👍

22/05/2026: Really delicious kebab and shawarma. The meat is always flavorful and juicy, the salad is fresh and varied, and their homemade pita bread is exceptionally good. Very welcoming staff. Definitely recommended!

24/05/2026: Super delicious open sandwiches, and very nice and attentive waiters 👍 Have been there many times, and have always been satisfied.

23/05/2026: May 2026. The interior is full of Aarhus Festuge posters. We were 6 people for a birthday dinner. 2 had a 3-course meal, 2 had roast pork, 1 had a shooting star and one had several tartlets. Everything was delicious and very tasty. The roast pork came with home-pickled beets and cucumber. The shooting star was so delicious, but the dressing could have been all over the place and not just on one side. The fries were good and salty. 3 things they need to be better for to get 5 stars. 25 kr. for water per person rather than being able to choose a pitcher price when it comes in a carafe anyway. Also, it's a shame that you can't choose roast pork a libitum unless the whole table orders it. The toilets are okay, but the toilet paper is single-layered, which is embarrassing. 14/04/2026: Food is pretty good but the service just takes so long and we were told to wait 10 minutes and we waited half an hour.

11/12/2025: The bartender was very friendly. We had a good meal and some good beers. I recommend it.

09/12/2025: Dec 2025. Tuesday night. The sweetest waiters. Great atmosphere. Lots of people. We got 3 burgers and all 3 were dissatisfied. It was sour and didn't taste like anything else. Fries OK but nothing to rave about. One got Cesar salad - not a real Cesar dressing or grated parmaggiano turned into the salad. But great beer - TWO Beer is always good. NICE service.

26/05/2026: This is our second time at this restaurant and both times we have experienced really bad service and cold food. The staff walked around without helping even when we asked for assistance. It was definitely not worth the money.

22/05/2026: We were 2 couples for the evening menu, we chose prime rib and red sole respectively. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the service was friendly and competent. The premises are very cozy, and the atmosphere was good. The toilets are clean and neat. A really good experience.

25/05/2026: Way too expensive! €50 for two small loaves of bread and something to drink.

24/05/2026: Update from May 2026: We were so excited to come back, but they don't order Shooting Star for dinner anymore 😔. Ordered schnitzel and it lacked any flavor and was very chewy. Minus 2 stars. An amazing small restaurant in the center of Copenhagen. The 2 most popular dishes are the Shooting Star (fish 2 ways with shrimp) and the fried pork (all you can eat). Great selection of beers and wine. Very highly recommended!

29/05/2026: I had the chicken burger which was so delicious with a lot of thick & crispy pomme frites and a drink. There were several choices for the sauce for the frites. They also had a GF bun option.

28/05/2026: I'm from Brazil and this is my first time in Denmark! But the 161 is one of the best burgers I've had here. Thank you to the whole team!

10/12/2025: It's always nice to come to activities in Absalon. From South Jutland cake table-banko to creative pursuits like clay and painting. There are super cool activities that are very popular. There is always a good atmosphere in the house
