24/02/2026: A great place for a delicious lunch. I had the Amatricana as a special whilst my wife had the cacio e Pepe and they were just amazing! Negroni’s to wash them down finished a great lunch!

15/02/2026: We were two tourists visiting in mid-December and needed dinner. Restaurant Sezer provided several dishes where everything was prepared and made to perfection. The steaks were perfect, the pizza was perfect. It was also quite cozy with the Christmas decorations. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is human, present, and respects your time. The only pity is that they are not closer to Copenhagen :-)

11/01/2026: Definitely worth a visit. We went there for dinner and had a lot of small delicious dishes via the social dining concept. Relaxed atmosphere and a really kind and attentive waiter serving the dished exactly in the pace as we liked it. Great view of the city from the 19th floor btw.

04/10/2025: Cake buffet - many different cakes and pancakes. Exciting to try something new. However, one cake was eaten when we arrived - 30 minutes after the start - and no more of it came. Too bad. Therefore only 4 stars for service. Lovely surroundings, where you can go for walks along the lake and see many birds. The atmosphere also only gets 4 stars as it was very noisy and it was a bit difficult to talk at the table.

27/09/2025: An experience for anyone who is forced to eat gluten-free. Ate there 2 days in a row. It was so nice and liberating to sit down at the table on the 2nd day, knowing that EVERYTHING was fine. 10 stars from here. The food is delicious and doesn't differ from anything else except for the things that have gluten in it. Wow 1st time I've had a gluten-free beer at a restaurant and yes not more expensive than the other specialty beers. What's not to like.. The restaurant also has a children's and parents' area with a fairly large play area. There is the option of outdoor dining if desired The toilets are a chapter in themselves, smiles there are nice and proper but one day it was a mess and the next day it was a bit run down, laughs. If you want to know more, you have to visit the place. The waiting time is ok even when it's almost full. The place is cozy and located by Kvie lake. Here in the low season there are limited opening hours so booking a table is a good thing Definitely worth a visit and I will definitely return.

08/02/2026: We were recommended the place as the best Japanese sushi in Copenhagen. The first time we had a la carte. It was ok. The second time the three of us shared a “normal” to share. Damn it. It is the worst sushi we have ever had. Bad food, bad atmosphere and bad service. Stay away!!!

25/01/2026: The best dining experience I've had to date. Supreme cooking and a wine menu that was perfectly matched to the individual dishes. The venue is kept in the original style of the old workshop which helps make Aro something quite unique. A huge recommendation from here.

15/01/2026: On the occasion of our 20th wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday we were at Aro, this was our second visit the first time was shortly before they got their first Michelin star and it was a really delicious experience, so expectations were at their highest. This time they hit a little bit outside the Bulls eye. We had both ordered Store Aro, so a 7 course wine menu with “snacks” and coffee with the most beautiful little “bites” to go with it. The food and wine are super super delicious except for the dish. Beetroot with hazelnuts. Baba ganoush and Funen truffle. The acid dominated and drowned out the rest and the truffle, even though no effort was made on it, could not be tasted at all, the consistency of the dish made it difficult to eat with just a spoon and fork. There was also a small double mistake from the waiter. They serve the most delicious bread and butter, when we order another round of it at the request of the waiter, no butter comes with it, when we order bread again, this order is forgotten. These are all minor things, but when you pay 2000 kr/envelope, it has to play flawlessly. Defoe, there can't be 5 stars this time.
