05/06/2025: A Fju beer (a kind of Danish version of Bière belge) First marinated herring on rye bread with curry and a soft-boiled egg with dill with an O.P. Andersen clear Aquavit. Then small shrimps on toast with homemade mayo. Top! Very friendly people. Beautiful classy business. The family business adds personality and style. Ps: you drink aquavit by first inhaling and then drinking. (No air at Aquavit)

24/05/2025: Vi var 3 personer der skulle have et kort uformelt forretningsmøde. Spontant besluttede vi os for at gå ind på Bang & Jensen. Det var klart deres indbydende facade der fik os til at gå derind. Der var så det eneste indbydende vi oplevede. Vi bestilte en kakao, en iskaffe og en hjemmelavet lemonade. Kakaoen var ikke nævneværdig, iskaffen var skuffende og lemonaden var ligeså sur som betjenen. Vi havde åbenbart misforstået at de mindre end 75cm vi sad fra baren må have været så forfærdelige at gå for den helt ude af proportioner sure medarbejder. I al sin hidsighed blev drikkevarerne kylet på bordet. Nu har så et afsyret bord. Men det bliver en aldrig igen oplevelse.

01/11/2025: [English version] We visited Akropolis on a chilly Friday evening, hoping for a relaxing Greek dinner after a long week. Unfortunately, disappointment set in right from the start. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no "welcome," not even a glance of acknowledgment. The staff member at the counter seemed more focused on explaining the cash register system to a colleague than on the guests waiting to be seated. After seating ourselves, it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. When they finally did, there was still no warmth or friendliness to be found. We ordered calamari as a starter and a mixed grill for the main course, accompanied by a glass of house red wine and a beer. To their credit, the dishes were served fairly quickly, and the food offered decent value for money — perhaps the only positive note of the evening. However, a visit to the restroom quickly spoiled that impression. It was dirty, unhygienic, and carried an unpleasant smell — simply unacceptable for any restaurant. After finishing our main course, we asked for the dessert menu, which was brought to the table. Yet no one ever returned to take our order. After waiting in vain, we eventually decided to pay and leave. The farewell was just as impersonal as the welcome. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal, no thank you, no goodbye — just silence. Conclusion: Akropolis serves food that's fair for the price, but the service ruins the experience. Unfriendly, indifferent, and disengaged. Half a point for prompt serving, but otherwise a visit we'd rather forget. We won't be returning. The employee behind the counter was more concerned with explaining the checkout system to a colleague than with the guests who were waiting. After finding ourselves a seat, it took far too long for someone to come take our order – and here too there was no warmth or friendliness to be found. We ordered calamari as a starter and mixed grill as a main course, along with a glass of house red wine and a beer. The food was served relatively quickly, and the quality matched the price – in fact, the only positive aspect of the evening. However, a visit to the toilet quickly changed the mood again: dirty, unhygienic and with an unpleasant smell. Not acceptable in a restaurant environment. After the main course, we wanted dessert and were given the card – but no one ever came back to take our order. After waiting a long time, we gave up and asked for the bill. The end was as impersonal as the beginning. No one asked if everything had been okay, and no one said thank you for the visit. Conclusion: Akropolis delivers food that is reasonably priced – but the service lets it all down. Unfriendly, inattentive and lacking in commitment. Half a point for the quick service, but otherwise an experience we would rather forget. We won't be back.

04/11/2025: Bad experience/warning We came on Monday 3/11-25 at about 5:45 PM 3 people to eat. I ordered a pork steak sandwich, the others burgers. After about 10 minutes our food came, at my first bite I find out that the sandwich is cold. I contact the young, nice waiter and tell him. He feels the bun and the meat, it's cold. He sends it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later the same sandwich comes back!! I refuse to accept it because he had his hands in it, and what happened in the kitchen? 10 minutes later a new one comes. The others have finished eating in the meantime, so I eat alone. It doesn't taste good so I only eat half. Then I see the owner of the restaurant and tell him about the process. He doesn't really care, and says that it takes time to cook the food!! So I can't recommend eating there!!! I can recommend that the health authorities come and do a hygiene check. You don't bring food in and out of the kitchen for hygiene reasons. Lars Rasmussen

24/10/2025: Great place, huge recommendation! The selection of food is really big whatever you want from pizza to salad, meat or vegetarian, everything your heart desires, with a decent selection! The staff is really nice and welcoming and I always leave with a smile on my face. So with good quality food, good prices, great staff and high hygiene, I can really recommend Mama Rosa!

04/12/2025: The shrimp seemed a day old. All it takes is 3-4 min to deep fry one. How can one be soo cheap selling leftovers. Pathetic! Never ordering anything again and I suggest my family and friends to not order or go to this place.

23/11/2025: I visited the restaurant and started off with a really good experience. The sushi was delicious and fresh, and the dessert buffet was a big highlight – especially the apple ice cream and the cake buffet, both of which tasted fantastic. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and there was a cozy atmosphere. We were also served by the sweetest lady, which made the visit extra cozy. Unfortunately, a situation arose that significantly reduced the overall impression. We were served raw chicken. When we pointed it out, the service employee asked if the chef could see the chicken. This made us think that there would be some kind of discount or compensation. Instead, she simply came back with a new piece of chicken – which we did not want when we had just eaten raw chicken and had already eaten part of it. Although the employee apologized, we did not feel that the situation was handled satisfactorily, especially since there are clear health risks associated with raw chicken. We did not receive any discount or other form of compensation for the experience. Therefore, my review unfortunately ends at 3 stars, even though the food, atmosphere and service were otherwise really good.
