23/09/2025: Lovely atmosphere. Service a touch slow but the food was prepared quickly. The cider was great and there were several creative non alcoholic cocktail options. We went for a la carte and got the Pithivier au Flétan to share which was very filling (completely understand why it is to share). It was prepared very well - the halibut was butter smooth and the pastry was delicious.

21/07/2025: Hand on heart, and without exaggeration, I would put their homemade pita bread with shawarma in my top-three-all-time-best pita bread that I have personally tried. Insanely delicious and juicy meat and fresh ingredients and delicious dressing. Definitely recommended. Huge 5 stars for the food from here

15/10/2025: Charging problems at Chademo charger after Cirkle K installed new Start/Stop charging display, error message and total confusion. We had to disconnect and drive to another charger.

22/01/2026: Super annoying, but the place has dropped incredibly in quality over the past year - at least on our orders. About a year ago, your order was pampered, and there was diligent decoration (even to the lavish side). There was a clear difference in that the food was more gourmet and delicious than the other standard menus. Overall, we got the impression that there were delicious ingredients and everything was just perfect compared to what we have otherwise had in the area - and we were often pleasantly surprised by the "chef's choice". If we order today, we unfortunately get what looks like standard menus, even though we pay for "gourmet" sushi. Totally ordinary boring ebi rolls, where the dough around the shrimp is so boring and cold that it feels like something made the day before. You really get some boring rolls and there is not the slightest care for the food or the presentation - you might get a few extra spoonfuls of the boring roe. The nigiri has also become a bit boring and not as varied as before. Super sad, because it was our favorite place in town despite the fact that the price was a bit high. It's still delicious food and if you order the specific things on the menu, they are still fine. However, the menus have been cut so much that they shouldn't exist. We have come to the point where we would rather save the few hundred kroner and take a chance at the other places in town.

02/11/2025: Clearly the best takeaway sushi place in the Fredensborg area. It has become my go to place when we want sushi. I highly recommend the gourmet menus 😊🍣

13/01/2026: Baba's Pizza is a king pizza, and was still piping hot when it arrived. 5/5 would order here again.

18/11/2025: There was a long line and their best bread was sold out. The sandwich was good, but it is too expensive to pay 7 kr. extra for each vegetable you choose. Really good service!

23/05/2025: Svovl is our local restaurant and wine bar. I can't recommend it enough - food, atmosphere and service are all in one. Thanks to Rasmus for creating a wonderful gastronomic and oenological oasis in Århusgade.

23/05/2025: Visited in May 2025 during the seafood festival. The food was cooked using fresh and high-quality ingredients, but the flavours were a bit too mild for my taste. My favourite was the fresh tuna and cod dish, which was pleasantly salty and smoky. The main course was also pretty good. The poached oyster dish was my least favourite and could have used some acidity. There were many wine options, but no drinks menu for anything else. We got a beer and an elderflower syrup after talking to the waitress. The interior looks modern and the bathroom is cool. The tables are a bit too close for my taste, but that's the case in many restaurants in Copenhagen. Overall, I had a pleasant enough experience, but I'm not likely to return.
