01/06/2025: Headline: Beautiful location and friendly staff – but lack of transparency and high prices We had been looking forward to a weekend at Garbolund Vingård and were greeted by friendly staff and a cozy wine tasting on Friday evening with tapas and a good atmosphere. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and there is a special charm about the place. Unfortunately, we were not prepared for how primitive the conditions were. Most of the activities took place outdoors – including eating and staying – and although we had good weather, it would have been a completely different experience in the rain or cold. The rooms were basic, and there was only one shared toilet for both Bed & Breakfast guests and wine tasting guests, which became a challenge as it was not cleaned afterwards. We also missed clear information about prices – there were no price tags at the wine bar, which was based on self-service. A glass of wine cost 90 kr., and bottles started at 220 kr., which came as a surprise. It would have been nice to have some goodwill or a discount for those of us who were staying on site. The dinner on Saturday was simple and tasted good, but we didn't think the price and content were consistent. The same was true of the breakfast, which was very minimalistic in relation to the price – and without visible signs of the organic products that the place otherwise emphasizes. The products were poured into small, anonymous glasses, and this made it difficult to know what you were getting. However, it must be said that the staff were friendly and did their best, even though they were busy. Our feedback is not about them, but about the framework and communication surrounding the stay. All in all, a beautiful and interesting experience, but with room for improvement – ​​especially in terms of transparency, comfort and expectations.

12/07/2025: Tried to order lunch menu online within timeslot. Was not possible. So I called shop who couldn’t help, or do it manually. Said it had to be online. Response to owner: I can assure you it was on your homepage and not possible to complete the order, be it a glitch or whatever. Lunch option was only for a single dish out of several and surely your employees should be able to sort out a solution in that case, anything else is bad service.

08/07/2025: The place had nice service and the food smelled good, but we didn't stay as they don't actually have a toilet on site. Will be back for takeout!

19/06/2025: Disappointing Experience – Not Worth a Visit The shisha was just ok, and certainly didn’t live up to expectations for a place that markets itself as a shisha bar. I had to wait quite a while for my order, which is hard to justify given that shisha is their main offering. The environment was also uncomfortable — there was no proper ventilation, making it stuffy and unpleasant to stay for long. The worst part was the billing. I was charged 2x99 DKK, and I’m not sure why. I didn’t bother arguing, as I already knew I wouldn’t be returning. Whether it was a charge per hour (despite me waiting a long time and only smoking for 30–45 minutes) or per person at the table (something they never clarified), the pricing felt dishonest and opaque. Plenty of better shisha lounges in Copenhagen — I recommend looking elsewhere.

31/05/2025: Great experience at Vanpipecafeen Castrel Shisha Lounge! I visited Vanpipecafeen Castrel Shisha Lounge recently and was really impressed. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, with a stylish interior design that makes it the perfect place to relax or hang out with friends. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was top notch.

25/03/2025: It is not an ordinary bakery, but every year during the month of Ramadan, the place has the best Ramazan eat in (Bread), Pogaca, as well as warm Simit. Clear recommendation

10/03/2025: A wide variety of syrupy sweets and pastries. The owner very friendly. We got simits and potato puffs which were both fresh and tasty. We had no cash and the owner treated us to it! We will be back next time to get something else and visit this beautiful shop again

09/04/2025: They just got new owners. The old guys were great, but these new guys suck. I asked what he could recommend and he showed me a pizza with taco sauce. They have deep pan American pizzas, so that should tell you the vibe. The pizza tastes like a frozen pizza heated in a microwave. This is as far from Italy as you can get. It tastes like chatgpt made a pizza. It's not even bad, just utterly disappointing and uninspired. I'm not sure if I ate pizza or if I ate the pizza box.

04/08/2025: Definitely a good fish and chips, but no tartar sauce. There was a home-made remoulade which was nice, but the right sauce was missing.!!

06/03/2025: The small restaurant has a good location surrounded by beautiful nature with great hiking trails that you can use before or after your meal. The parking is a bit difficult for people with walkers or wheelchairs.

01/11/2024: Disappointingly, the meatless pizzas are by no means a taste experience. Tasted like nothing.. despite a price of approx. 145.. A female employee, friendly. But been past before, where we asked a little about the pizzas, where a gentleman (presumably one of the owners) coldly just says, "You can see the menu card" - Just one remark like that makes me really angry, and I don't want to support them. Being disinterested in your potential customers.. Yes, what can I say..
