17/12/2025: Bad place, burnt pita bread which is toasted like a piece of toast and plain beef dry and boring without real spices in it like other places have but again you get what you pay for in terms of price and quality and place you choose but do not recommend others and buy from them!

04/10/2025: A nice place to drink your coffee and eat a homemade bun with something or other. I often come there with different friends and acquaintances, most of the time it's a really good and pleasant experience. There have been several different people who have served us in the coffee shop, but I do have a few comments about the young man who is currently there and has been there for a while. He doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic about his work. Not because he doesn't do or say the right things, but his attitude and charisma often seem like he's tired of the customers. Yesterday morning, Friday, October 3rd, he was also at work. His clothes, which are of course a matter of taste, are perhaps a bit too youthful, when I think about the audience in Magasin, he was a bit undressed and didn't seem particularly suitable for a place with food, but what was worst was that he had headphones on for the 2 hours we were there. His AirPods were dangling with wires, so it made him seem like he wanted to be somewhere else. This is not the first time that he seems and exudes the same attitude. His words are ‘correct, but his attitude seems irritated, and that he is a little tired of the customers both in his style and sometimes also in his answers if you ask him something. It has always been nice and is usually nice to come in there, but he seems like he should be somewhere else in many ways!

15/09/2025: This cafe is attached to a bookstore on the third floor of the Copenhagen department store, MAGASIN DU NORD. The bookstore had a stylish selection of books, including Japanese recipe books and lovely Nordic hardcover books, which you can use as accent pieces in your room after reading. The cafe offers several types of coffee and bread, and I had a croissant. It was a delicious croissant with a fragrant butter flavor, and the coffee was also great. I went around noon, but it was a bit busy, so it's best to go with plenty of time. There is also an eat-in area where you can relax and enjoy your coffee.

05/11/2025: I ordered a curry to go; it was freshly prepared and I was able to take it with me after about 5 minutes. The food was very fresh, still hot, the portion was a good size, and overall very tasty. It came with a large amount of rice. The sauce could have been a bit thicker, but I still really enjoyed it. Thanks for the delicious dinner!

16/10/2025: For four years now, this has been our friendly neighbourhood sushi place. The chef is very friendly and also makes great food. Worth noting that it's mostly a take-out place, not a dine-in experience.

26/10/2025: Guards with inferiority complexes. I had two guests from two different countries, but guess what? Even though we were sober and just wanted to go in and have a good time, the 'camera' said we weren't allowed in tonight and the gorillas played smart afterwards. Shit... I will never, ever visit one of their pubs. Why should perfectly decent men be turned away? Because we have black hair? And the irony is that the guards themselves have black hair.

23/10/2025: A worn out and broken place.... Miserable staff from wardrobe people to bartenders.. The bartenders can't make drinks! And everything in general is completely broken in there... But the icing on the cake is that your doormen allow crazy people to stand and deliberately spray everyone else with champagne because they can afford it.. And yes, those were the doormen's words... An innocent person was even thrown out because he complained about it... An exceptionally disgusting way to do business.... Losing place with losing doormen... You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

21/10/2025: The pizzas have become boring, and 8 out of 10 times, something is missing. No thanks

06/01/2026: A wonderful place, wonderful staff, great service, but I have to give 1 star, because the bread is perhaps the most boring in Denmark, it is completely tasteless, all the bread and buns taste the same, unfortunately nothing,

25/10/2025: What an extraordinary experience! Rarely have we been greeted with such coldness, arrogance, and indifference as by the reservations manager of the Tivoli Hotel Brasserie in Copenhagen. Upon our arrival, this lady — blonde, short-haired, who introduced herself as the person in charge of both the website and reservations — asked curtly “What do you want?” We simply said we would like to have a table for three for dinner that evening. Her reply, in a tone bordering on disbelief: “For tonight? For dinner?” When we confirmed, she immediately said that everything was fully booked, without a smile, without checking, and without the slightest attempt to find a solution. We explained that the online booking system merely stated that “reservations are not available for today”, which in many establishments simply means same-day reservations are not possible online. But no — for her, it was crystal clear: if you can’t book online, it means the restaurant is full. End of discussion. No sign at the entrance indicating the restaurant was full, no clear message on the website, and not even a polite “I’m sorry, let me check if there’s a table available.” Instead, we were made to wait five minutes for nothing, only to be dismissed again with the same cold attitude. What is most disappointing is not just the poor communication or lack of organization, but the arrogance and utter lack of hospitality shown by someone who represents the face of such a renowned hotel. No friendliness, no empathy, no alternative offered — nothing. This experience completely destroyed our desire to dine there and left a negative impression of the entire Tivoli Hotel. What a shame that such a beautiful establishment allows its image to be damaged by someone so dismissive of basic customer courtesy. A sincere word to management: a smile costs nothing, but its absence can cost a great deal to your reputation.

03/09/2025: The food was delicious, and the waitress was very nice! Absolutely amazing! 🔥👍🏻

03/03/2026: Wanted lunch, the food was nicely presented, and most of it tasted okay. But a piece of smørrebrød with a very thin piece of roast pork, dragged the whole experience down. Roast pork with a rubbery or elastic edge, where half was fat, tasted more than rancid, this piece that I took a bite of, I was about to spit out, it tasted of mold and rancid. The waiter who brought plates saw that it was discarded, but did not ask if it was good. Nothing is fresh and special, but the price is also accordingly. If she had asked how the food tasted, and offered a new and different piece, I would have given a different review.

03/03/2026: A poor round of pork roast, - old and dry. The (powder) gravy was grainy and boring. Not worth visiting.

25/12/2025: Employee who walks into the kitchen wearing a jacket and shoes that shouldn't be there and treats customers like crap because they just laughed a little.

22/11/2025: It was actually pretty good, me and my friend we tried their playground it was ten out of ten I never got to try their food it was probably good but the playground was ten out of seven🤫🤫

12/10/2025: We bought a cake that was supposed to be a muffin cake with blueberries and cream on top. The cake looked really delicious but when we later had to eat a piece it was a real experience. The cake was very dry and without any blueberry flavor. The next day the cake was so dry that it was inedible. Had expected better quality from Emmerys.

06/07/2025: When we use to live in Østerbro, Copenhagen we used to get our breakfast at this place. Coffee and Muslibrød med ost is what I always eat while my husband would eat the whole breakfast set with eggs. They sell organic food and you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the taste. I wish to go back to Copenhagen one day and eat at this place again. Brings back great memories. 🩷

27/04/2025: I have tasted almost all Danish takes on a Berlin Döner and this one ranks up there where it is almost the best. The combination of bread, cabbage and meat is almost perfect. The bread is so crispy and the dressings are just right.
